Without a second thought, Wang Wenxuan followed, saying, "Let Wang Jiao wait here, I'll stay with you."
Wang Jiao nodded quickly, "Okay, I'll wait here. You guys go ahead."
Ah Li said, "Then let's call the police too."
Wang Jiao looked at Wang Wenxuan, wondering if they should call the police.
The person the teacher called is probably someone from the underworld. Will this cause a conflict?
Wang Wenxuan didn't care and said, "Report it."
They came to help, not to start a brawl.
Ali and Wang Wenxuan followed behind the burly men and soon arrived at a residential building.
Ah Li gripped the stick in her hand and noticed that there were people guarding downstairs. They had cigarettes in their mouths and were staring at Ah Li and Wang Wenxuan with hostile eyes.
The burly men, their faces bruised and swollen, winked at them, and then someone shouted upstairs, "Grab your weapons!"
At the same time, they grabbed the machetes hidden nearby and rushed over.
Ah Li gripped the stick tightly and asked Wang Wenxuan, "Are you scared? They all have knives."
Wang Wenxuan had two more scalpels in his hand. He said, "If you're not afraid, then I'm even less afraid."
Ahri smiled, grabbed her stick, and charged forward.
Seeing Ah Li charge, Wang Wenxuan followed behind her and joined the fray.
Wang Wenxuan's scalpel was very sharp; he would specifically target the wrist, making a light cut that would cause blood to splatter. Sometimes, he would even slice through the carotid artery in the neck.
Wang Wenxuan would also calculate the rate of bleeding and move aside to avoid getting blood on himself.
Ahri was wielding a stick, swinging it with great force, each strike creating a massive attack.
Ahri also tried to take the knife, but one strike would cut someone and get stuck in their bones, so she chose the stick instead.
Soon, Wang Wenxuan's men arrived, followed by several police cars.
When they arrived, they only saw Ali and Wang Wenxuan wiping their hands with tissues.
There were about ten girls standing together timidly. When they saw the police coming, they looked at Ah Li.
Ahri reassured her, "Don't be afraid, they are real police officers."
These girls were all kidnapped; some, like the original owner, were there to meet online friends.
Some of them were kindly giving directions on the road, but were electrocuted.
Some people fainted after just smelling the products they recommended and were immediately dragged into a van.
Some people are just going out to take out the trash, and they get pulled into a car.
Some people were in their own homes when they heard the door open and were told that someone was checking the water meter. After they opened the door, they were forcibly dragged away.
Some people are just playing in the scenic area when they are hit by a staged accident, and when they go to get a medical examination, they are arrested.
After taking their statements, the police sent all the people back to the police station and then contacted their families to come and pick them up.
The people who had been knocked down by Ali and Wang Wenxuan were also arrested by the police one by one.
Ahri took out the previous recording and said, "This contains information about where other people were sold."
These people target not only girls, but also children, and sometimes even the elderly.
Some of them were sold to remote mountain areas, while others became beggars on the streets. Even more horrifying, some had their organs harvested while they were still alive.
The police officer asked Ahri to transfer the recording to him.
Ali quickly added the police officer on WeChat and sent him the recording.
Wang Wenxuan walked over at this moment and said, "Alright, let's go back."
Ah Li nodded and left with Wang Wenxuan.
A young policeman wanted to ask Ah Li to wait so he could take a statement, but a senior policeman stopped him, saying, "What? She's Wang Wenxuan's woman. She's already said everything she needed to say."
The young policeman said, "She and that man are really something, they took down so many people by themselves."
The veteran policeman looked at Wang Wenxuan's retreating figure and said, "Alright, get to work."
Later, the police station even set up a special task force, which rescued many of the people who had been arrested.
For many who had never given up their search, the time for family reunion finally arrived.
That said, Wang Jiao is now somewhat hesitant to walk with Ali. Just like her teacher, Ali is incredibly powerful and keeps a low profile.
Ah Li moved her hands; she had hit her hard enough that her hands were blistered and bleeding.
I didn't feel it when I was hitting it so hard, but now it hurts.
The people Wang Wenxuan had called over had all dispersed; it seemed they were just there to watch the spectacle.
Wang Wenxuan noticed Ah Li's little movements and said, "Let's go back to the clinic."
Wang Jiao nodded.
Ah Li wanted to go back and take a shower, but when she saw Wang Wenxuan looking at her, she said, "Okay."
After the three returned to the clinic, Wang Wenxuan helped Ah Li apply the medicine.
Wang Jiao was munching on sunflower seeds, doing nothing, when she noticed that Ali's hands were chafed in several places, and said, "Ali, your hands are too delicate."
Wang Wenxuan was carefully disinfecting Ali's hands when he listened to Wang Jiao's words. He then carefully examined Ali's hands and found that they really did not have any calluses.
Ahri remained calm and said, "I rarely hit people before, and I usually take care of my hands."
Wang Jiao muttered, "Then why did you hit someone so hard? You weren't afraid at all, unlike the first time you hit someone."
Wang Wenxuan quietly continued to apply the medicine to Ali.
Ah Li said, "Of course I'm not afraid, my hands shake too. But when I think about how those people are human traffickers, I'm not afraid anymore."
Wang Jiao couldn't help but give Ali a thumbs up and say, "Amazing."
