Chapter 214 The Female Supporting Character's Gambling Addiction 2

Ahri started ordering people around.

The blind husband's name was Qingmo, and he hesitated.

Ahri muttered, "I forgot, you can't see it."

Qingmo lowered his head. He was used to people saying he couldn't see. When he went out to work, his other husbands would take him with them.

Ah Li walked up to Qing Mo, took his hand, and said, "I'll take you there, but don't fall."

Qingmo's hands were rough and had many wounds.

He stared blankly at the warmth of Ah Li's hand, then slowly followed Ah Li toward the well.

Ali led the person to the well and asked, "Do you know how to draw water from the well?"

Qingmo touched the wooden frame by the well, nodded, and said, "I know how to do this."

"Then you fetch the water, I'll wash the vegetables, and then we'll cook."

As Ah Li spoke, she began to prepare the vegetables.

Qingmo silently brought the water up, and Ali pushed the basin to his feet, saying, "Pour it in."

Qingmo squatted down, touched the basin, and poured the water in.

At this moment, two husbands stood not far away, watching Ah Li and Qing Mo in silence.

Ahri turned around and spotted them. She stood up and shouted, "Hurry up and wash the vegetables and cook! Are you trying to starve me to death?!"

Those two were the second and third brothers that Ah Li saw last night; Qing Mo was the sixth.

When Ah Li called out to them, the two people quickly came over. One squatted down to wash the vegetables, while the other was told by Ah Li to start a fire and cook.

Not long after, the other four husbands also returned.

The leader also carried four small steamed buns, about the size of their fists.

However, when he discovered that Ahri was at home, he hid the steamed bun behind his back.

Qingmo is blind, but everyone else can see.

Even though a pot of rice had already been cooked in the kitchen, they still silently walked over and blocked the leader's way.

Ahri pretended not to see it; there was still some meat left over from last night, but these people didn't eat much of it.

Ahri had someone heat it up and then brought it to the table.

Since Ah Li didn't speak, the seven people didn't dare to sit down at the table.
