Chapter 23 Little Instructor 2

Not long after the military training ended, Ali was walking along the tree-lined path on campus with a few books in his arms.

Guan Nian changed into casual clothes, slung a bag over her shoulder, and looked at the girl not far away, feeling that they were truly destined to meet.

Ah Li knew Guan Nian was behind her, and she was thinking of slowing down and waiting for him to get ahead so she could treat him to a meal to thank him for saving her life.

Although he left after taking her to the police station, the original owner still remembered him.

"Excuse me, would it be convenient to exchange contact information?"

A male student carrying a basketball suddenly appeared from the side.

Ahri wasn't scared, but she pretended to be, even letting out a small gasp.

Ah Li herself thought the exclamation sounded a bit fake, but Guan Nian, who was following behind her, suddenly appeared beside her and said, "Hey, you scared me."

"Excuse me, I just want to get to know her."

The male student looked at Ah Li apologetically, then, under Guan Nian's gaze, awkwardly looked away.

"fine."

Ahri shook her head, hugging the book tightly. Then, when she looked up and noticed Guan Nian, her eyes lit up, and she exclaimed, "It's you!"

Hello, classmate.

Guan Nian greeted Ah Li.

The male classmate felt uncomfortable seeing that the two were talking quite familiarly, and realizing that he had indeed been too abrupt, he quietly left.

Guan Nian also started to walk away, and Ali quickly followed, saying, "I didn't expect to run into you again. Thank you for what happened last time. Let me treat you to a meal."

Guan Nian listened to the two footsteps that seemed to be on the same frequency and said, "You're still a student, and I'm an instructor. Let's skip this meal."

Ahri said, "You're probably not that much older than me."

Guan Nian said, "Then I'm an instructor too."

"oh."

Ahri shut her mouth and slowly fell a few steps behind.

Sometimes, if you don't know what to talk about, you shouldn't continue the conversation, otherwise it will become an awkward conversation.

Ali stopped and thought for a while. Then she took out her phone and ran a few steps to catch up with Guan Nian, saying, "Let's add each other on WeChat, Instructor."

Guan Nian stopped and said, "I rarely add people."

"But I still want to repay you."

"What if your repayment causes me trouble?"

Guan Nian believes that students should focus their attention on their studies.

"Sorry." Ahri silently put her phone away.

Guan Nian knew she had spoken too harshly; perhaps this female classmate was really just holding a grudge about the help she received last time.

While the two remained silent, Guan Nian opened her mouth and recited a string of numbers.

Ah Li looked up and gazed at Guan Nian with surprise.

Guan Nian said, "Troublesome." But she reached out to Ali and said, "Give me your phone."

Ali immediately handed him his phone. Guan Nian discovered that Ali's phone had no password and the screensaver was a selfie. He first called his own number and then added him on WeChat.

"Don't bother me unless it's important." Guan Nian said this again after handing the phone back to Ali.

"good."

Ali quickly checked his phone and found a new contact named Guan Nian.

Seeing Ali looking at her phone, Guan Nian asked, "Isn't it forbidden to bring phones to school?"

Ali quickly stuffed her phone into her pocket, but then she remembered that it was break time and she was about to go eat, and the school wouldn't care. So she said, "I still need to use my phone to scan the code to pay."

Most students nowadays use their mobile phones to pay.

Guan Nian didn't say anything more. He simply said he was leaving and walked away from Ali.

Ah Li didn't intend to send a message or call Guan Nian. Sometimes, harassing someone for the sake of so-called repayment is not repayment, it's revenge.

After a month of military training, Guan Nian didn't seem to treat Ali any differently just because he added her on WeChat.

The two were just like an ordinary instructor and student. If there was anything unusual, it was that Guan Nian would say during military training, "Early dating is still prohibited in high school!"

I don't know who they're trying to wake up to, but they keep shouting it out every day.

As the month drew to a close, several girls in the class gathered together and whispered, "Our instructor is leaving soon. What should we do as a farewell gift for him?"

"Send flowers?"

"Let's sing a song instead."

A group of people were chattering away, and some male students joined in.

As for the transfer student, Ahri said she rarely pays attention to him and doesn't know where he is.

There are over fifty students in the class; you wouldn't know unless you were paying special attention.

Ahri held a bottle of ice water in her hand, watching the small water droplets rising from it, but did not drink it immediately.

Those people decided to send a large bouquet, each paying ten yuan to buy a large one.

We also prepared singing. Those in the class who know the songs should sing loudly, and those who don't should just move their mouths.

Ahri said no, but was very eager to pay.

This time, she didn't want to be a class monitor like the original owner did. Not only was the responsibility heavy, but the workload was also immense.

Soon, Guan Nian, holding a large bouquet of flowers, walked step by step to a spot not far away amidst the chorus, joined the other instructors, and finally left together.

Ahri is also beginning to adapt to high school life.

Although it's very simple, there are still some things you need to learn.

Because she wasn't the class monitor, Ahri and the transfer student barely interacted.

However, there were quite a few love letters hidden inside the table.

Ahri collected them all without looking at them or throwing them away; she simply tucked them into a book.
