Ah Li leaned against Pei Jingcang's chest, tugging at his hair with deep resentment, and said, "Then can you go out?"
This person didn't care what the place looked like; he refused to leave and just stayed there.
Pei Jingcang, however, was unwilling. He moved again and said, "Ali, how about having another baby for me?"
As Ahri said this, she sensed another change in that area.
Ah Li also noticed that after Pei Jingcang finished speaking, a hint of hurt flashed in his eyes, but he concealed it very well.
Ah Li put her arm around Pei Jingcang's shoulder and said, "Have more? Both of our children have already found their other halves, and they even have grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You still want me to have more?"
A light appeared in Pei Jingcang's eyes. He cradled Ali's head and asked earnestly, "You mean, our child is alright too?"
Pei Jingcang thought that since Ah Li had returned alone this time, the two children might already be...
But now Ah Li tells him that the children are fine and have even started their own families.
Ah Li finally understood why this person had looked so hurt earlier; he thought something had happened to the two children.
Ah Li then recounted how she used the mustard seed space inside the ring left by Pei Jingcang to relocate the entire merfolk clan.
Ahri added, "I really have to thank you for this. If you hadn't left me the Mustard Seed Space, I really wouldn't know how to take them with me when we left."
Pei Jingcang simply held Ah Li and said, "I didn't know. I thought the Spirit Pool had been damaged because someone had broken into the Spirit Pool."
As it turns out, Ahri is now telling him that she left from the Spirit Pool.
"Then you should go out now."
Ahri wagged her tail.
Pei Jingcang, however, said with a look of enjoyment, "No, I've been absent for so long. I haven't heard my two children call me 'father' even once, nor have I participated in their growth."
"So, Ahri, let's have two more babies, okay? This time, I promise I won't be absent again."
"You bastard!"
Ah Li let out a soft moan as the man captured her lips in his mouth.
The surrounding water rippled more and more joyfully, and the pink in the sky gradually turned into a bright red.
Suddenly, Nianyin experienced unbearable abdominal pain. She clutched her stomach and, before she could utter a single word, her entire body exploded.
The Left Protector was closest, and by the time she tried to dodge, it was too late; a cloud of blood mist splattered directly onto her.
The other demons looked at the spot where Nianyin had just been standing with expressions of horror.
This person, for some unknown reason, offended the Demon Lord and was killed by him.
The Left Protector gripped the bone whip in her hand, her affection for the Demon Lord now completely overshadowed by fear.
She and the demons dared not linger, for fear of accidentally offending the Demon Lord.
The demons had all left, and the old tortoise had just swum over from a short distance away before swimming away again.
We can't go to the Demon Lord's place now; it's too dangerous.
Now, all Pei Jingcang wants to do is hold Ah Li tight; their separation was because of that person.
He spared her life to see if she could still give birth to a mermaid, so that the mermaid race could continue.
However, that person developed feelings for him and wouldn't allow anyone else to get close to her.
Even the man who once said he wanted Ah Li to weave the dragon silk by hand and asked to marry Ah Li actually liked Nian Yin, but he thought that person was the chief of the Merfolk tribe.
This is because when Nianyin travels around, she sometimes claims to be the chief of the Merfolk tribe, using this identity to vouch for others.
Now, Ahri is back, and the Merfolk are doing well.
Then this person is useless.
Pei Jingcang was in a good mood and kissed Ah Li again.
When the two finally separated, Pei Jingcang leaned against a large rock, and Ah Li leaned against him. Her fish tail flashed with light from time to time underwater.
Pei Jingcang was in a good mood, so Ah Li looked up at him and asked, "When you went back five hundred years, did your soul go back, or your body?"
Pei Jingcang looked at Ah Li, "Do you also think that there should be a me five hundred years ago, and there should be a me five hundred years later?"
"Um."
Pei Jingcang held Ah Li's hand, looking at the ring she was still wearing. He said, "Five hundred years later, after I broke the seal of the Demon God, my mortal body couldn't contain the power of the Demon God, so I was left with nothing but a pile of bones. Later, I went back five hundred years and merged with my past self. So, Ah Li, there is only one me in this world now."
He didn't want to tell Ah Li about the agony he had endured, like the pain of being torn to pieces; those things were all in the past.
"What about this ring?"
"Made from my bones, are you scared?"
Pei Jingcang said it as if he were joking.
Ah Li, however, knew that what this person said was true.
She said, "I'm not afraid."
Pei Jingcang held Ah Li in his arms and sighed once again, "It's so good that you're still here, whether it's five hundred years ago or five hundred years later."
At that time, because he merged with his former self, he was caught off guard and almost burned to death.
When he was put into the giant seashell, he only thought about breaking the seal of the demon god and did not want to be bullied and manipulated by others.
Unexpectedly, he met her.
Pei Jingcang was somewhat tempted, but before he could make a move, Ah Li suddenly stood up and immediately moved far away from him.
"Please don't come."
Pei Jingcang chased after him, saying, "As long as you don't have a baby yet, I'll keep trying."
Later on, Ahri got pregnant again and gave birth to cubs.
This time it's two babies again, two female mermaids.
