After learning from the traditional Chinese medicine doctor that Ah Li was indeed pregnant, Chi Ye pulled Ah Li to sit on a row of chairs in the corridor. He squatted down in front of Ah Li, held her hand, and was so excited that he kissed the back of her hand. He said, "Baby is indeed the best."

Chi Ye looked at Ah Li and said, "I'm not going. You guys call the police and let them handle it."

Chi Ye hung up the phone immediately. He had already given them a solution; now it was up to them to decide what to do.
