Chapter 313 The Original Owner Who Became a Vampire 1

In a dense forest that seemed to stretch endlessly, it was dark and damp, and even the moonlight couldn't penetrate it.

The strange cawing of crows could be heard from overhead from time to time, and bats with blood-red eyes flew overhead one after another.

A group of college students walked forward in twos and threes; they were there to explore.

Some say that deep within this dense forest lies an ancient castle, and inside the castle sleeps a vampire.

These college students believed the rumors and were inspired by a spirit of adventure, so they came.

"Do you guys really believe in the legend of vampires?"

"There must be, otherwise there would be no legend about it."

The group whispered amongst themselves, unaware that behind them appeared vampires with sharp fangs, clinging to the trees with greedy eyes. Look, the prey is here.

One of the college students turned around unintentionally and saw this scene. He stared in horror, his mouth agape, but he couldn't utter a single word.

His companions were still excitedly discussing the legends of vampires, completely unaware that danger was approaching.

The vampires leaped down from the trees silently, moving with incredible speed, as if a gust of wind had swept by.

They pounced on the unsuspecting college students, their sharp fangs gleaming coldly.

Screams and cries for help erupted as college students scattered in panic.

However, the vampires did not seem to be in a hurry to kill them. Instead, they toyed with them like cats catching mice before finally capturing them one by one and slowly draining their blood.

The college student who saw the vampire was terrified out of his wits.

He fled with all his might into the depths of the dense forest.

He didn't know how long he ran, until he was too tired to run anymore, then he stopped.

He leaned against a big tree, panting heavily.

All around was silent, as if all sound had vanished.

He looked up at the sky and saw only lush branches and leaves.

Above the dense forest, there was a full moon, but it was obscured by dark clouds, leaving only a faint light.

The man was filled with fear and despair; he knew he might never be able to escape again.

However, at that moment, a beam of light suddenly shone from the depths of the dense forest, illuminating what lay ahead of him.

A girl ran out of the deep forest holding a cross, and the light was coming from the cross in her hand.

The girl was quite disheveled. She noticed the college student and, with a look of lingering fear, asked, "Did you also wander into this dense forest by mistake?"

The college student stared at the cross in the girl's hand, and he also noticed that the vampire who had been chasing him was gone.

Seeing that the person was also human, the girl said, "Are you scared? Don't be afraid. This cross of mine has been baptized with holy water from the church, which will frighten all vampires."

"Yeah?"

Upon hearing this, the college student suddenly snatched the cross from the girl's hand, put it around his own neck, and then turned and ran back to his classmates. He wanted to go back and save them!

After the girl's crucifix was taken from her, a vampire appeared behind her.

The vampire grabbed the girl by the neck and bit down on it without hesitation.

The girl looked terrified. She stared intently at the college student's departing figure until she felt a sharp pain in her neck and the discomfort of blood rapidly draining from her body.

After an unknown amount of time, the girl was drained of her blood and left lying around like a broken doll.

When a sliver of pale moonlight slowly peeked through the gaps in the leaves, the girl moved. Her limbs were so stiff that you could hear her bones creaking.

Ahri looked up at the sky with a look of utter disbelief. In this world, there were vampires, churches, knights of light, and werewolves.

The original owner was an ordinary person who accidentally wandered into this dense forest, where his protective cross was stolen and he was drained of his life force by vampires.

The original owner appeared at this moment, her face pale. She said, "I was bitten by a vampire and I died. But after I died, I became a vampire and even bit my village chief father to death. I hope you can help me. I don't want anything to happen to my father."

After the original owner died, her body was transformed into a vampire without emotions or a soul. She was controlled by her vampire instincts, feared sunlight, and loved drinking blood.

Every night, she would leave the dense forest and venture into the surrounding villages to suck blood.

The village chief, who raised her, loved and protected her, recognized her. He was very worried about her, but he didn't know that she had become a vampire.

When the village chief was happy that she had returned safely, she ran up to him, bit his neck, and sucked his blood.

The village chief died and was discovered by the villagers. Fearing that the village chief would also turn into a vampire, the villagers cut off his head and cremated his body.

The original owner, now a ghost, kept urging her village chief father to run, but he couldn't hear her. She could only watch helplessly as 'herself' bit the village chief to death and gained immortality, yet she could do nothing about it.

"Okay, I understand, I'll help you."

Ahri agreed, and the original owner disappeared.

Ahri slowly got up from the ground, one hand on a big tree. The thirst in her throat made Ahri roll her eyes speechlessly.

She really wants to drink blood right now.

That's a terrible thought.

Ahri walked forward unsteadily; the college student who had just taken the original owner's cross was heading in that direction.
