Ahri was now certain that this person was talking to her and knew her identity.
"Then why are you helping me?"
Ahri opened her eyes and looked up at Jesse.
Jesse smiled and looked at Ahri, "Because your scent is very clean; you haven't drunk human blood yet."
Like him, he has never drunk human blood. Even when he has the bloodlust of a vampire at certain times, he can control it.
Ahri shifted her body, got out of Jesse's arms, and whispered, "That's because I haven't found my chance yet."
Jesse raised his hand and peered into Ahri's eyes, saying, "You won't."
Why do you have this... feeling?
"Because I feel that you and I are the same kind of people, and you can control that impulse."
Otherwise, she would have already gone berserk the moment she entered the tavern.
Because the tavern is full of fresh blood, the delicious smell of blood, and the sound of flowing blood are a great temptation for vampires who have just become vampires.
Ahri doesn't have that feeling because she drank Roy's blood, and that addictive taste made her lose interest in other people's blood.
However, the blood of the person in front of me smells quite good; it's rather fragrant.
Ahri showed her little fangs, "Would you like me to take a puff?"
Jesse fell silent. Just moments ago she had said she could control herself, but now she was about to make her move on him.
Ahri's eyes flashed; she heard Roy's voice telling her to go back.
Above this town, the silvery moon is still beautiful.
Seeing that Jesse was still silent, Ahri said, "If you feel reluctant, then forget it. I'm going back."
Seeing that Ahri really was leaving without a second thought, Jesse took two steps forward and said, "It's not that I can't give you a little bit."
He knew that feeling; it wasn't something that could be easily suppressed. Sometimes, that urge to drink blood was really hard to bear.
Ahri looked at Jesse in surprise. Had he really agreed so easily?
Jesse noticed the light in Ahri's eyes and thought somewhat embarrassedly, "See? This vampire who just became a vampire is still very innocent and kind. He didn't rush up to suck my blood."
Therefore, he was right to lend a helping hand and bring her out of the tavern.
