Jesse then said coldly, "Village chief, you're not saving your daughter, you're harming her. Your daughter hasn't drunk human blood yet, she doesn't know what it tastes like, and she can still control herself. But once she tastes human blood, what will you do when things get out of control?"
The village chief thought of that possibility and decided to keep all the college students and use them as blood transfusions for his daughter.
If five people each have one bowl of blood drawn per day, that should be fine.
Jesse immediately saw through the village chief's plan, and he looked at Ahri, who was now very vulnerable.
Ahri hasn't mentioned that she's currently drinking Roy's blood and doesn't need to drink anyone else's blood.
Jesse had already taken out a small knife and cut his palm, then raised his hand in front of Ahri and said, "Then drink mine first."
He is the offspring of a human and a vampire, and drinking his blood will not cause much of a reaction.
Ahri quickly backed away, asking, "What are you doing?"
When Jesse saw that Ahri really didn't want to drink his blood, he withdrew his hand, letting the blood from his wound drip onto the ground. He said, "Here's your blood. Didn't you ask me last time if I wanted you to suck on it?"
"That was last time. I... don't want to drink it now."
"oh."
Jesse didn't bother with bandaging; his self-healing ability was quite good, and the bleeding stopped soon after.
The wound is still there, and it won't heal so quickly.
The village chief looked at Jesse's hands with great regret. His daughter was still as foolish as ever, wasting such good blood.
As night deepened, Ahri urged the village chief to return home early, because the deeper the night, the more the creatures that slept during the day would come out to hunt.
The village chief reluctantly said goodbye to Ali, and Ali promised the village chief that she would come back every day to see him and talk to him.
After Jesse and the village chief left, Ahri stood there and waited quietly for a while.
At this moment, Roy appeared beside Ahri, raised his hand and hugged Ahri, exposing his neck, looking as if he were ready to be ravaged.
Ahri chuckled and leaned against Roy, asking, "What are you doing?"
Roy said, "Don't drink other people's blood, just drink mine."
Ahri lifted her head and kissed Roy's lips. "Okay, let's go back."
"Wait a little longer."
Roy looked into the village.
Ahri didn't ask him what he was waiting for; instead, she quietly nestled in his arms.
Not long after, Jesse and the werewolf Kyle came out together, carrying a sack as tall as a person.
Here you are, the person you wanted.
Jesse threw the sack on the ground and then looked at Roy and Ahri.
Have they gotten that close?
Kyle rolled his eyes. He didn't like dealing with vampires, but Roy was an exception.
"Thanks."
Roy thanked him softly, then slightly moved his fingers, and the sack floated up.
As Roy was about to leave, Kyle called out, "Hey, you with wings."
Roy stopped in his tracks.
Kyle said somewhat awkwardly, "Be careful lately. Werewolves and paladins are teaming up to hunt down vampires."
"Okay, I understand, thank you."
Roy carried Ahri away, and the sack floated away with them.
Jesse touched his lips and looked at his palm. No wonder he wasn't interested in that person's blood; that person's blood was indeed much tastier than his.
Kyle snorted and said, "This is so annoying. Why does this guy always run into trouble?"
Lester Roy, the vampire prince, should have been asleep. But he was awakened.
He was awakened by the elders of the vampire clan, when Kyle and Jesse were thrown into the magic circle as sacrifices.
When Lester Roy woke up, the first thing he did was save Kyle and Jesse and help them leave the magic circle and the castle.
The elders were pro-war; they believed they had awakened an ambitious vampire prince who also wanted to control humanity.
Unfortunately, no.
The once invincible vampire prince had long grown weary of killing, so he chose to slumber.
Having been able to wake up this time, Roy drove away the elders, telling them to go find other vampire princes. He just wanted to stay quietly in the castle, and he was thinking that he would find a good day to continue sleeping.
Therefore, there weren't many vampires in the castle, just one butler.
The butler stayed inside the castle; he was Roy's most loyal subordinate.
Jesse nudged Kyle on the shoulder and said, "Alright, stop bothering us. What's a hassle for us might be nothing to him."
“Yeah, he’s only been awake for a short time and he’s already found himself a partner, while the two of us are still single.”
Kyle looked back at the empty sky; the girl wasn't actually that pretty.
Jesse punched Kyle on the shoulder and said, "You're the dog, I'm not."
Kyle flicked the spot where Jesse had punched him and said, "Alright, I know you're not. Let's go have a drink now, and maybe catch a few vampires while we're at it."
"OK."
Suddenly, the image of his first meeting with Ahri in the tavern flashed into Jesse's mind. He also remembered the kiss. He thought to himself: Being single for too long makes one kiss last this long.
However, when Jesse and Kyle arrived at the tavern, there were quite a few beautiful and sexy women inside.
With his silver tongue, Kyle soon found himself dancing intimately with a beautiful woman in the tavern.
Jesse, however, sullenly shook his glass; he just couldn't muster any enthusiasm for anyone else.
