Ah Li ignored the boy on the ground. She walked up to Nan Xing and whispered, "Look up."
Nanxing quickly straightened his back and raised his head.
It seems someone punched him in the eye; it's a bit bruised.
Ahri asked, "Why don't you fight back?"
Nanxing whispered back, "He's good-looking." He won't be good-looking if he gets damaged.
"Then why did he hit you?"
Nanxing was a little afraid to look at Ah Li. He muttered softly, "I'll take off his clothes."
Ah Li looked at the boy's clothes on the ground, then at Nan Xing, who was shirtless with only a grass skirt around his waist.
She was wrong. She was being too serious. What good would it do to take out the clothes?
Nanxing noticed that Ah Li was very silent, so he said, "Dad, I just think that we are dressed like this and it is very cool. He is wrapped up all over. Isn't he uncomfortable?"
Ali said, "Don't you always ask if there are other people like us in this world, and where we came from?"
"Um."
Nanxing watched Ahli very quietly.
Ahri pointed to the sky and said, "We're at the bottom of a cliff. Your father can't get up there, so I've never taken you up. That boy must have fallen off the cliff."
Nanxing asked, "Are all the people up there like him, covered up completely?"
"Yes, you have to cover yourself up completely, or you'll get beaten up."
Nanxing muttered, "That's so troublesome."
However, he still really wanted to go up and take a look.
Nanxing glanced at Ah Li secretly, still believing that it was his father who didn't want to go up.
So he didn't dare let his father know that he had actually secretly gone to find a path, a path that he could climb up.
That road is difficult to walk; it takes a long time.
Ahri noticed Nanxing looking over; her little one had grown up and wanted to see the outside world.
The boy on the ground lay quietly. He had been so enraged that he had forced himself to fight Nanxing.
Now, Ah Li looked at Nan Xing. "Little one, if you want to leave here and see the outside world, you'll always suffer if no one helps you."
Ahri walked over to the boy, picked him up, and put him back in the grass nest.
The boy groggily opened his eyes and saw the disfigured man. He wanted to tell the man he didn't want to be hugged.
However, he simply had no strength left.
Ah Li was also quite surprised. This person fell from such a height and was still able to chase after Nan Xing and fight. His recovery ability is amazing.
Nanxing didn't go towards the boy. After tidying up the cave, he went to boil water.
Ahri didn't stay with the boy; she still needed to find food.
Seeing that Ah Li was about to leave, Nan Xing also stood up. "Dad, where are you going?"
"Looking for food."
Ah Li looked at Nan Xing and said, "Don't cause trouble."
"oh."
Nanxing didn't intend to approach the boy. The boy was good-looking, but too fierce, even fiercer than his father, and his hits hurt a lot.
There weren't many large wild animals, nor many pheasants or rabbits, at the bottom of the cliff.
However, there were many strange fruits, and Ahri even brought out two chickens from her space.
Nanxing is at a stage of growth now, so she needs to eat well.
Ahri has already made up her plans: one will be used in soup, and the other will be roasted.
After searching around and finding nothing, Ali took the two chickens and some fruit back with him.
Nanxing stayed quietly outside the cave, while the boy inside woke up.
The two kept to themselves, ignoring each other completely.
When Nanxing saw Ah Li returning with something, he grinned and ran towards Ah Li, shouting, "Dad, why do you always catch chickens every time you go out?"
Ahri frowned and said, "Who is it that makes such a racket every day, yelling incessantly whenever they go looking for food?"
Nanxing stuck out his tongue, took the chicken, and said, "Then I'll go and prepare the chicken."
"Um."
Ah Li washed her hands and looked at the boy.
The boy withdrew his gaze from Ahri, but then looked at Ahri again.
This man was a bit ugly, but his body was quite fair, especially the peach blossoms that occasionally appeared on his abdomen...
The boy looked away, his face flushed.
Ahri didn't care; they were all men.
Ahri took the stone pot outside and started a fire to boil water.
There was also a pile of firewood; we'll use it to cook chicken later.
Seeing that Ahri didn't greet him, the boy finally spoke up, saying, "Thank you, and I'm sorry."
Ahri pretended not to hear and continued with her own business.
Nanxing was quick; he processed the two chickens and brought them back.
Nanxing added, "I picked some strange-smelling herbs to add some flavor."
"good."
When Ah Li saw that Nanxing had picked strange-tasting edible herbs, she crushed them.
Nanxing reached out and took the fruit that Ali had picked, saying, "Dad, why are the fruits you picked so sweet, while the ones I picked are all sour?"
Ali rubbed the crushed, strange-smelling herb onto the chicken, and once it was evenly coated, he skewered it with a sharp wooden stick and roasted it over the fire.
Ah Li also took the time to reply to Nan Xing, saying, "You'll understand when you reach my age."
Seeing that Ah Li had only dealt with one chicken and there was still one left, Nanxing said, "Dad, what are you keeping this chicken for?"
Ali said, "Make soup with it."
Nanxing then noticed that there was water boiling in the stone pot over there.
Ali took out a stone with one end flattened and smashed it hard on the chicken, creating a small cut.
Just then, the boy in the cave, holding a very exquisite dagger, said, "Try this."
