When the sun sets, it gets dark.
Shen's father called Ali and asked her to come to him; the housekeeper would bring her there.
After Ah Li hung up the phone, the butler appeared at the door and said to Ah Li, "Miss, the place you are going to is not suitable for bringing your phone. Please give me your phone."
Ah Li didn't object and handed the phone to the housekeeper.
The butler followed behind Ah Li and went downstairs with her.
When we arrived at the place that Shen's father had mentioned, it was the same private room as that night.
Ah Li pushed open the door, and found that only Shen's father was inside the private room.
Shen's father said to Ali, "You've arrived, please have a seat."
Ah Li obediently sat down, and Shen's father had tea served.
The waiter brought in the tea and placed it in front of Ali.
Ahri noticed a white powder on the rim of the teacup that was almost invisible unless you looked closely. Was he about to harm her?
Because Shen Changyue can't have Mo Yanqing, does that mean she can't be with Mo Yanqing either, and she has to destroy her too?
Shen Fu said to Ali, "Have some tea."
Ah Li picked up the teacup, but Shen's father didn't look at her. Instead, he picked up the teacup in front of him and took a sip.
Ahri drank it too. Anyway, she wouldn't die, so she was fine. It just looked really stupid of her to drink it even though she knew it was poisoned.
However, what exactly was added to this tea? It tasted a bit like flour.
After drinking the tea, Ah Li noticed that her father's gaze kept coming over. She propped her head up with her hand, a hint of panic in her eyes. She looked at her father, and finally, as if she couldn't hold on any longer, she fainted.
The butler, who had been standing to one side, nudged Ah Li and, seeing that Ah Li was indeed unconscious, said to Shen Fu, "She's unconscious."
Mr. Shen said, "Then let's send it to President Wang."
"OK."
The butler helped Ah Li up from the chair, dragged her out of the private room, and took her to another room.
Ahri was dragged to a room, and the butler put her on the bed and then left.
Not long after, Ahri heard someone enter the room. She lay nervously on the bed with her eyes closed, but her eyelashes were trembling.
Someone was looking her over. The person didn't say anything, but instead touched Ahri's clothes with their hand.
Ahri almost held her breath; was this person about to begin?
What Ah Li didn't know was that the person who came in was Mo Yanqing.
Mo Yanqing is very angry. He wants to see when Ali will open her eyes. Does she like to accept her fate so much?
Upon learning that Shen's father had taken Ah Li to a drinking party, Mo Yanqing instructed someone to keep an eye on Shen's father's movements.
Today, Shen's father had someone poison him. He even paid a waiter here to put the poison in the tea when he brought it up.
This kind of thing is very common here; many waiters have done it. Unless something serious happens, many people pretend not to hear.
This time was different. The waiter took the medicine to the manager, who replaced the medicine with flour and told the waiter to take it back.
That medicine isn't good; it's guaranteed to get Shen Chongshan imprisoned.
Now, Mo Yanqing knows that Ali only ate flour and is fine.
But she could already sense someone was there, yet she lay there quietly, as if she really wanted to be bullied?
Mo Yanqing grew angrier the more he thought about it, and he leaned against him directly.
Ahri still didn't open her eyes; instead, she clenched her fists and turned her face to the side.
Ah Li was still thinking: I can't hit this guy. He doesn't seem to be one of those old men from that night. His smell is kind of familiar.
When she noticed the man's hands starting to wander, Ah Li suddenly opened her eyes. When she saw who was pressing down on her, Ah Li exclaimed in surprise, "Mo Yanqing?!"
Ali tried to push Mo Yanqing away, saying, "Why is it you? Where's that old man?"
"Old man?"
Mo Yanqing didn't get up. Instead, he stood very close to Ali and asked, "Do you know who Shen Chongshan is going to give you to?"
"I have a rough idea."
Ahri made a small gesture.
Mo Yanqing raised her hand and pinched Ali's face, saying, "Should I say you're incredibly bold, or that you've decided to go all out and actually follow an old man?"
"How could that be? I just knew there was something in my tea, so I played along."
Ali even nudged Mo Yanqing and said, "You're so heavy, get up quickly."
Mo Yanqing thought he had really pinned the person down, so he sat up and said, "We still have to act out this later. I'm going to send your adoptive father in."
"ah?"
Before Ahri could react, there was a knock on the door, and someone shouted, "Is everyone inside alright? The police are here!"
That's Jing Dan's voice.
Mo Yanqing looked at Ali, whose eyes immediately glazed over. She lay half-reclined on the bed, sobbing softly, "Save me, Mo Yanqing, where are you?"
At this moment, Ah Li, like a kitten, let out weak cries for help, calling out Mo Yanqing's name from time to time.
Mo Yanqing gritted his teeth. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he really wouldn't have known that this person's acting skills were so good. It would be a pity if he didn't go into the entertainment industry.
Jing Dan was still knocking on the door outside, and Mo Yanqing knew he couldn't stay there any longer.
Mo Yanqing left through a hidden door inside the house. Before leaving, you could still hear Ah Li calling out in confusion and helplessness, "Mo Yanqing, save me..."
When the door was kicked open, Ali fell to the ground. She looked weakly toward the door, her lips bleeding from being bitten. She struggled to stay conscious and thought she saw Mo Yanqing pushing through the crowd and walking toward her.
Ahri seemed to have finally found her salvation, and she could no longer hold on and fainted.
"Shen Changli!"
