Chapter 45: Conquering the Villain 3

Later, whether it was Xiao Se's intention or his excessive trust in Wu Shuang, he actually went.

Since there was no holiday and it wasn't graduation season, Wushuang arranged a class reunion, and most of the students from one grade attended.

In this beautifully decorated banquet hall, the elegance of the women and the composure of the men intertwined, creating a vivid picture.

The girls, dressed in various gorgeous gowns, were like beautiful flowers blooming in a garden. Their noble and elegant image shone even brighter under the lights.

Their gait and their demeanor exuded a youthful and vibrant energy.

The men were dressed in sharp suits, exuding a sense of seriousness in their every move.

No matter where you are in the banquet hall, you exude a unique charm. This charm does not come from external luxury, but from the composure and confidence that comes from within.

However, Xiao Se was still wearing his school uniform, staring blankly at the people who suddenly appeared and surrounded him.

These people are not students; they are thugs from outside the school.

These off-campus thugs are not to be trifled with. They often gather at the school gate, acting arrogantly and domineeringly, which makes some timid students afraid.

However, their behavior is not limited to the school gate; they are troublemakers in other places, often causing trouble, fighting, stealing, robbing, and even engaging in more serious crimes.

Even though the party was not far away, only a three-minute walk, Xiao Se was surrounded by these thugs from outside the school and led into a dark alley.

Across the alley, Ah San laughed out loud: "What do these people want to do? They think that wolf cub Xiao Se is easy to bully."

"Just wait and see what happens." Ahri looked towards the gathering; Wushuang should be coming soon too.

Half an hour later, the muffled groans and howls in the alley gradually subsided.

Wushuang and his men rushed over from the gathering place, though in a bit of a panic.

"Desolate!"

Wushuang called out towards the alley entrance and then froze.

Because he saw Xiao Se standing perfectly fine, without a single injury, while others were lying haphazardly on the ground.

Wushuang was shocked, because he had arranged for these people to be here, but this was the result.

Xiao Se walked out with his hands in his pockets, looking perfectly fine except for his slightly messy hair.

"I'm fine." Xiao Se moved his lips, then looked across the street.

He spotted Ah Li and Ah San standing across the street at a glance.

Ahri moved her lips and whispered, "Look, even boring people can become interesting as they grow up."

Ah San nodded in agreement, "Yes, this desolate place is not simple."

Ahri didn't stay any longer because her role in the following scenes wouldn't be very meaningful.

The group left quietly. Following Xiao Se's gaze, Wu Shuang saw many people coming and going across the street, but none of them were familiar faces.

But Xiao Se was still watching. Then he pursed his lips and said, "Wushuang, I'm leaving now."

After Xiao Se left without looking back, the person who came out with Wu Shuang asked in a low voice, "What should we do now?"

"A bunch of useless trash, let's go."

Today, Wushuang had originally planned to have Xiao Se trampled into the dust, but in the end, he would save him.

This way, Xiao Se could continue to treat him as a good brother and help him strengthen the company's firewall.

But everything is different now.

The person lying on the ground like a dead dog wasn't Xiao Se, but rather those thugs.

A short while later, police cars drove up on the street.

Wushuang stood aside with his men, watching the thugs lying haphazardly in the alley being taken away in police cars.

After that, Xiao Se clearly didn't have much interaction with Wu Shuang. At most, he was dragged to team building activities by A San and his friends.

One day, Xiao Se got drunk and sat on the side, completely intoxicated.

Ah San sat next to Ah Li and said, "Look, in the past two years, this person has been completely transformed."

Ah Li squinted and didn't speak, but Xiao Se looked up at her.

Soon, Xiao Se stood up unsteadily, walked over without saying a word, and asked Ah Li, "Why?"

Why pull him out of the mire? Why give him the life he has now?

Ali said, "Don't you find it interesting to see you, who should have been rotting and stinking like a pile of mud, suddenly given a chance to be reborn?"

“Yes, interesting.” Xiao Se stood up, opened a bottle of wine, and drank it down in one gulp.

Ah San said with his mouth half open, "Wow, this guy can really hold his liquor."

Apart from Xiao Se, who was still able to stand up, everyone else was lying there with their faces flushed red.

As if he had received an answer, Xiao Se sat down again, tilted his head and leaned it on Ah Li's shoulder, saying, "Thank you."

Ahri looked at the person's soft hair and didn't say anything more.

Ah San remained silent. He had seen clearly how difficult Xiao Se's journey had been.

Time turns, and years slowly pass.

Current rescue progress: 90%

Ah Li played with the lighter in his hand, while Ah San looked at the large display screen in the center of the street and said, "This person's fame is getting bigger and bigger."

Not long ago, Xiao Se entered the entertainment industry, and with the protection of Ah San and a few others, his path was very smooth.

A notification chimed on his phone. The Indian man took out his phone, glanced at it, and exclaimed, "Holy shit!"

When Ah Li looked over, Ah San said, "Miss, he said he wants to retire from the entertainment industry."
