In a very spacious place, a pile of firewood was stacked up, and Dou Xin lay on it, while a big fire was burning fiercely.
Ahri raised her hand and touched the sword at her waist. She wasn't used to longswords, so she'd put it in her spatial storage later.
After the fire was extinguished, Ahri squatted down and collected the remains from the ashes in a jar.
However, among these remains were several long needles, which were clearly visible as having not only sealed several acupoints on her body but also tormented her constantly.
Doesn't she feel pain?
Ahri silently put away the long needles. Consort Mei also discovered the long needles and cried for a long time while holding them.
"Are any of those who harmed her still alive?"
Ah Li slowly looked at Consort Mei. There was no anger in her eyes, but rather a calm one.
Consort Mei slowly looked at Ah Li, her eyes filled with tears that never stopped.
Ahri, holding the ashes in her arms, whispered, "If you're still alive, give me a list."
Not long after, Consort Mei gave Ah Li a list. There were only six people on the list, and the list also included their identities, names, and current locations. One of them was the current Empress Dowager.
Ahri placed the list next to the candle and lit it; the list slowly began to burn.
Consort Mei asked, "Do you need my help?"
"Need not."
Ahri, dressed in black and with her face covered by a black cloth, left.
Consort Mei had tea served; she would wait here for Ah Li to return.
Royal Palace
Ahri was as light as a swallow, scaling walls and rooftops, and soon made her way to the Empress Dowager's palace.
None of the palace maids on night watch were dozing off.
"water."
The Empress Dowager woke up in bed and sat up. A palace maid brought her tea.
Ahri produced several long needles and flung them directly at her.
The long needle flew very fast and pierced directly into the Empress Dowager's body.
As soon as the palace maid screamed, the Empress Dowager slowly collapsed.
By the time chaos erupted in the Empress Dowager's palace, Ah Li had already left.
That night, chaos erupted in the capital.
Six people died suddenly one after another, and all of them had unidentified red spots on their bodies.
Before long, it was dawn.
Ah Li returned to Consort Mei's place and found Consort Mei still sitting in her room.
At this moment, Consort Mei was asleep, propping her head up with her hand, and there were people guarding outside.
Ahri changed out of her night clothes, making a little noise.
Consort Mei immediately woke up. She looked towards the source of the sound and saw that it was Ali. She breathed a sigh of relief. "It's good that you're back. We can discuss some things at our own pace. There's no rush."
Ahri walked over to her, poured herself a glass of water, and said, "It's resolved."
Consort Mei looked at Ali, somewhat disbelieving. Those people were no ordinary people. Not to mention others, the Empress Dowager was in the palace, which was heavily guarded. How could they possibly succeed so easily?
Ali didn't say much; she still wanted to take Dou Xin's ashes to a beautiful place with clear waters and lush mountains.
Dou Xin's ashes are still inside the house. Ali took a piece of black cloth, wrapped it up, and was about to leave.
Consort Mei followed closely, asking, "Where are you taking her?"
"A good place."
"I want to go too."
As she spoke, Consort Mei ordered people to pack their things.
"No need, you stay here."
Ah Li climbed over the courtyard wall but didn't hear Consort Mei calling her.
Consort Mei looked at the deserted room; her general was gone.
Ahri is quite familiar with this world.
She came to a remote mountain, the place where she and Dou Xin first came into this world.
Dou Xin did not take over anyone else's body; she remained the same as before.
It only changed some physical appearance and body shape.
Ali found a place with mountains and water, threw the urn into the air, and the urn exploded.
The ashes inside the box scattered everywhere, like a gray-white rain.
The surroundings gradually quieted down, and there was a grayish-white powder on many blades of grass, which was blown away by the wind.
She did what she wanted.
Ali stayed in the mountains for a while before leaving.
Putting everything else aside, the original owner's wish to leave the palace has now been fulfilled.
Now it's her own business, having a baby.
Along the way, Ahri walked and stopped frequently, and didn't encounter many people.
On this day, Ah Li suddenly heard the sound of swords clashing not far away.
There was a fight going on up ahead, and one of the people involved was someone I knew.
It is Su Wenheng.
However, Su Wenheng's eyes seem to be injured. He is being protected by someone behind him, and he is holding a sword in his own hand.
Ahri had no intention of joining in the fun; she originally wanted to leave.
As a result, Su Wenheng was kicked by someone and crashed into Ah Li.
Not only did he crash into the person, but he also passed out.
Those who were chasing Su Wenheng surrounded Ali, intending to kill her, regardless of the fact that Ali was just passing by.
Ahri snatched the large knife from one of them and began to fight back.
Su Wenheng lay on the side, and no one went to finish him off.
After everyone had fallen, Ahri threw down the large knife in her hand.
My hands are numb.
Ahri walked over to Su Wenheng and even kicked him, but he didn't react.
Ah Li wasn't a kind person; she didn't want to save the people Su Wenheng brought, some of whom were still alive.
They were all injured, and now, looking at Ahri, they dared not move.
They were utterly terrified by Ahri's ruthless killing.
As Ah Li was about to leave, Su Wenheng coughed twice, grabbed Ah Li's ankle, and said, "It's you."
