Chapter 476 Reencounter with Zhou Lang 4

The old doctor was now thinking of stabilizing the demon first. He said, "Then you should rest here for a while and see if it gets better. If it doesn't, I'll take your pulse properly."

"Okay, thank you for your help, doctor."

The old doctor added, "Also, would you like to lie down on the bamboo couch in the back? It's drafty by the door."

"It's alright. I think it'll be easier to call a doctor if anything happens in the future."

"Okay, then you should rest first."

The old doctor also said, "This is a heart ailment that cannot be detected by pulse diagnosis, and it will also cause pain. I need to discuss this further with the others, so I'll leave now."

The old doctor left before the cat demon could answer.

The cat demon didn't mind; in fact, she didn't quite like the hard bamboo bed. She slowly stood up and walked towards Ah Li.

Ahri knew the cat demon had arrived, and she looked up timidly, "Is there something you need?"

The cat demon walked over with captivating charm, placed her hand on Ahri's ankle, and asked, "How old are you, little girl?"

Ahri couldn't dodge it, so she could only gasp and cry out, "It hurts!"

The old doctor originally wanted to tell Zhou Yunsheng that there was a demon in the house, but as soon as Zhou Yunsheng heard Ah Li cry out in pain, he went into the house.

The cat demon tried to press down harder, but Zhou Yunsheng came over and asked directly, "What are you doing?"

"Brother Zhou."

Ah Li looked timidly at Zhou Yunsheng. She was terrified that this cat demon was bullying her.

Zhou Yunsheng walked to Ah Li's side from the other side and looked at the cat demon's hand.

The cat demon slowly withdrew her hand, saying nonchalantly, "Sorry, I didn't know she had a foot injury."

Ah Li quickly grabbed Zhou Yunsheng's sleeve, "Brother Zhou, I want to go back."

"Okay, I'll take you back."

Zhou Yunsheng didn't let Ah Li get down; he picked her up and walked past the cat demon.

The cat demon curled her lips; this person smelled really good.

Ah Li glanced back and then looked away. She couldn't reveal that she was also a demon. Who knew if this cat demon would implicate her if she were caught?

Zhou Yunsheng carried Ah Li out safely, and the old doctor breathed a sigh of relief. He whispered, "Quick, let's go, that's a demon."

The old doctor had already secretly told the others, and they had all gone out in twos and threes.

Hong Gu said from the side, "Don't panic, don't alert the enemy."

At this moment, Ali looked at Zhou Yunsheng and said, "Brother Zhou, let me down. I can walk by myself."

Zhou Yunsheng didn't let go of Ali. He said, "I'll take you outside first."

Hong Gu and the others then noticed that the cat demon had poked its head out and was looking at them. She slowly looked away and said, "We probably can't leave. She's watching us."

Zhou Yunsheng didn't turn around. He carried Ali outside. They could all run on their own, but she was the only one who couldn't move easily.

As soon as she stepped out of the clinic, Ah Li gripped her sleeve tightly as she noticed a Taoist priest approaching.

A Taoist priest suddenly looked at Ah Li and walked towards her, saying, "This person has demonic energy about him!"

At the entrance of the clinic, Zhou Yunsheng whispered, "It's not the demonic aura on her, it's a demon inside the clinic that just touched her."

The Taoist priest sensed something and indeed felt a faint demonic aura emanating from Zhou Yunsheng. He looked towards the clinic, where Hong Gu and the others looked back at them as if they had seen a savior.

"There really is a demon."

The Taoist priest took out a Bagua mirror, bit his index finger and drew the words "Exorcise Evil" on the mirror, then threw the mirror away.

The Bagua mirror floated above the clinic, not only growing larger but also emitting golden light, enveloping the clinic within it.

"Exorcise the demon! Everyone else, leave at once!"

The Taoist priest shouted loudly and entered the clinic.

The cat demon let out a strange cry instantly; she had been exposed, so quickly!

Hong Gu and the others, along with everyone from the clinic, ran out. The Taoist priest, carrying a peach wood sword and the Three Pure Ones Bell, protected them as they safely left.

Not far away, many Taoist priests heard the commotion and rushed into the clinic to catch the demon.

Soon after, there were the cries of the cat demon, the sounds of things falling to the ground coming from inside the clinic, and the sounds of the Taoist priests performing their spells.

Zhou Yunsheng didn't care whether the clinic was damaged. Nowadays, demons are rampant. These Taoist priests don't care about the damaged houses and things in order to catch demons. They protect the peace of the area, risk their lives, catch demons for the people and restore a bright and clear world for them. This is good.

The clinic was already in a mess when the Taoist priest made his move.

When the cat demon tried to escape, the Bagua mirror hanging above the clinic unleashed its power.

The cat demon can't escape; it's only a matter of time before it's caught.

The old doctor walked over at this moment, sighing deeply: "I wonder if that cat demon has any accomplices. If it does, I wonder if they will come to take revenge on us."

Ah Li then asked Zhou Yunsheng to put her down, as he couldn't keep holding her forever.

Hong Gu's family had long ago hired a Taoist priest, so she wasn't afraid of monsters daring to break into the Yu residence. The others were the same; they all had talismans left by the Taoist priest to prevent monsters from entering.

Zhou Yunsheng then looked at Ali and said, "Miss Qing, where do you live? I'll take you home."

Ah Li hesitated for a moment, "I came to Dragon City to find my relatives, but my home is not here."

"Where do your relatives live?"

"They're no longer in Dragon City."

Ah Li's eyes reddened. She had come all this way with great difficulty, only to find that her family was gone, leaving her all alone, destitute and helpless.

Zhou Yunsheng helped the person up and, seeing Ah Li's helpless expression, said, "Then come home with me first."

His father told him to take responsibility for Ah Li, and he originally wanted to know where Ah Li lived so that he could ask a matchmaker to come and propose marriage.
