Chapter 50: Conquering the Villain (8)

Following the address given by the old man, Ali arrived at a teahouse.

The owner decorated this teahouse in an antique style.

Inside the teahouse, the small bridges and flowing water resemble a captivating painting, while the pavilions and towers add to its elegance.

Here, every scene seems to tell an ancient story, making people feel as if they have traveled through time and returned to that glorious era.

As soon as Ah Li entered, she saw Yang Hao.

Several servings of tea and snacks, along with two cups of tea, were already placed in front of Yang Hao.

Yang Hao also saw Ah Li. He stood up and waved to Ah Li.

Ah Li walked over, and Yang Hao pulled out a chair for her, saying, "I just got here too, and I just had these served. Do you want anything else?"

"Thank you, but no need, this is enough."

Ah Li sat down and touched the still-warm tea with her hand.

Yang Hao said, "Did your father tell you that we're on a blind date today?"

Ali nodded, "But Yang Hao, why do you suddenly want to go on blind dates? In the hospital, I've seen nurses and doctors fawn over you several times."

It means he doesn't seem like the type of person who needs to go on blind dates.

Yang Hao said, "I don't know either. I've never felt any attraction when other people show their affection to me."

"oh."

Ahri picked up the teacup, took a sniff from the lid, and took a small sip.

Yang Hao continued, "We know each other quite well, Ali. I'm very happy to know that I can go on a blind date with you."

In the past, Ah Li was like a proud young lady. Sometimes she would come to the hospital to accompany the old man for a health check-up, or she would bring Xiao Se and A San to see about their injuries.

As time went by, Yang Hao didn't know why, but every time she came, his heart would start beating irregularly, and he would want to chase after her.

Sometimes, he would wonder if he weren't a doctor and instead stood by her through thick and thin, would she look at him too?

This time, Ah San and Xiao Se were seriously injured, and he volunteered to take charge of it.

Because that way he can get closer to her.

That day, when she bumped into him, it was on purpose.

He didn't know why she seemed so preoccupied that day; all he wanted to do was hold her in his arms and comfort her.

However, he came to his senses the moment she said her apology.

That was also the first time he had been so close to the young lady.

Although he didn't talk much later on, and sometimes his presence seemed almost nonexistent because of Ah San and Xiao Se, he didn't care.

As long as he can see her, that's enough.

However, when the old man and his grandfather were chatting and mentioned finding a partner for Ali, he panicked. He impulsively walked up to the two old men and said, "I like Ali, and I want to be with her."

Yang Hao thought that his feelings for Ali were like a gentle stream, arriving quietly and catching people off guard.

It originates from the pure and profound emotions deep within one's heart. It doesn't know where it comes from, yet it is deeply devoted, like a moth drawn to a flame, rushing headlong into the blazing fire without regard for anything else.

Yang Hao still remembers the expressions of the two old people at that time; one looked surprised, and the other looked astonished.

Surprised was his own grandfather, and bewildered was the old man from Ali's family.

His grandfather said, "You little rascal, I thought you weren't interested in these romantic things."

The old man from Ah Li's family said, "Good lad, you actually have feelings for my Ah Li."

Yang Hao was initially quite uncomfortable, as this was the first time he had impulsively expressed his feelings.

However, when the old man from the Ali family said, "I was originally planning to hold a ball for Ali so she could choose one, but it seems that it's not necessary now."

Yang Hao didn't know when he left. When he returned to his room, he closed the door and then spent a long time lost in thought.

Only today, when he saw Ah Li walking gracefully in a cheongsam, did he realize that he had only ever recognized Ah Li in his life.

She was like a blooming flower, graceful and beautiful, unforgettable to him.

Her beauty lies not only in her appearance, but also in her unique charm and indescribable allure.

In his heart, Ahri will always be unique and irreplaceable.

Ah Li looked at Yang Hao and said, "Then let's give it a try first."

Otherwise, she wouldn't know how to explain it to the old man, since her own father had a very close relationship with the old man of the Yang family.

Most importantly, Yang Hao's life is rather monotonous, and his social circle is very clean.

Because the hospital was responsible for Xiao Se and A-San's relationship, Yang Hao's information had already been thoroughly investigated.

Ali never imagined that a rich kid would become a doctor and work tirelessly on the front lines of saving lives.

Upon hearing Ah Li's words, Yang Hao quickly gulped down a mouthful of tea, feeling very happy and pleased.

Ahri was quite happy to watch the person in front of her and chat about all sorts of things.

When it was almost time, Yang Hao asked, "Would you like to eat here? Although this is a teahouse, it also serves food."

"Can."

Seeing that Yang Hao seemed very happy, Ah Li continued, "Keep an eye on things, I'm not picky about food."

"good."

Yang Hao called over a waiter, ordered several dishes, and also added two bowls of rice.

"I ordered their signature dish, you can try it."

"good."

After the two finished their meal, Yang Hao asked Ali, "Do you have any other plans for the future?"

Ahri shook her head and said, "I have a lot of free time today."
