Chapter 53 The Mysterious Pavilion 1

Those times that once seemed long and insurmountable now seem like just a blink of an eye.

In the long river of time, everyone is like a drifting ship, experiencing storms and appreciating the scenery along the way.

Some people come and go, some things happen and disappear, only time continues to flow silently, witnessing everyone's growth and changes.

It got dark so suddenly that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

A river flows freely in the darkness. A boy floats and sinks in the river until he reaches the bank, clinging tightly to the grass and trees. He doesn't want to die; he wants to live, to take revenge, to kill those people. But now, it's all just empty talk...

"The Ghost Pavilion, the Ghost Pavilion, the living cannot see the Ghost Pavilion, the dead cannot enter the Ghost Pavilion... Those who are destined will see the Ghost Pavilion, and the Ghost Pavilion will serve you."

A pale hand snapped shut, catching the boy who was about to lose his footing and tumble back into the river. The boy looked at the dark figure before him and murmured, "The Ghost Pavilion, the legendary..."

However, the boy fainted before he could finish speaking.

Legend has it that the Ghost Pavilion does not exist in the mortal world at all, but only on the edge of the ghost realm.

Legend has it that there is no one in the Ghost Pavilion, only a Pavilion Master, and some say that the one in the Ghost Pavilion is a demon.

Those who have actually seen the Haunted House say, "Pah! The person inside is a scumbag! Give me back my youth!"

Ahri poked the boy she had saved the night before with a twig, looked at his wounds and disheveled appearance, and sighed helplessly.

Many people are looking for the Ghost Pavilion, but in fact, the Ghost Pavilion only exists in people's minds. Only when there is a strong obsession in one's mind will the Ghost Pavilion be summoned.

The original owner stated that those who called the Ghost Pavilion scumbags were blatantly lying. How was she scumbag? She was dashing, beautiful, with a great figure and looks, capable in both social and domestic settings, a fighter and a bodyguard. She could even whine if she wanted to; she could warm someone's bed and kill them. Why do people always spread rumors and slander after things are over?

The original owner was puzzled, and she had no intention of going back to confront those people. In time, they would all die, and who would remember them? As for her, she would live on in this world for a very long time, alongside the Ghost Pavilion.

The mysterious pavilion was formless and invisible, containing only the original owner of this body. Whether you call her a celestial being, a demon, or a human, she wanted to live like a human, to experience warmth and cold, and to be subject to birth, aging, sickness, and death.

However, once everything has settled down, she will return to the Ghost Pavilion and reappear before a new destined person.

"Why……"

Ahri sighed and poked the boy in front of her again.

This time, her target is the young man in front of her, and her identity this time is that of someone from the Ghost Pavilion.

The boy groaned softly and slowly awoke, his first words being: "The Ghost Pavilion!"

Ah Li was sitting cross-legged to one side. When she saw him wake up, she tapped the floor and said, "Congratulations on being a destined person and obtaining a Master Ah Li. From today onwards, you can do whatever you want without worry."

Young Chu Feng turned his head and looked down, then quickly covered his chest, trying to suppress the pounding in his heart and the urge to scream.

Who can tell him that when he woke up, he saw a demon with a blue face and fangs, bulging eyes, and two red streaks of blood hanging from the corners of its mouth?

Ahri tilted her head and immediately understood. She touched her face and said, "Sorry, I chose this appearance last night to fit the occasion. I'll change it back now. By the way, do you want me to be male or female, or neither male nor female? Although being neither male nor female is a bit difficult, I'm fine with either."

Upon hearing this, Chu Feng's lips twitched for a moment before he said, "A man."

"Okay, it's a guy."

As Ahri spoke, she touched her forehead and instantly transformed into a handsome young man.

Chu Feng slowly turned back to look at Ah Li. His previously pounding heart gradually returned to normal. He said, "Are you from the Ghost Pavilion?"

Ahri nodded obediently and said, "That's right. But now, I'm just like you. Are you hungry? I'll roast some chicken for you."

Chu Feng's stomach rumbled at just the right moment, and he said, "Okay."

Ahri said, "Then wait a moment." After saying that, she left.

Chu Feng tried to stand up, but found that he had no strength at all.

After an unknown amount of time, Ahri returned carrying a food box and a low table.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Ah Li said, placing the table in front of Chu Feng, and then putting the roast chicken, a plate of stir-fried vegetables, and two bowls of rice porridge from the vegetable basket on the table.

"Let's eat!" Ahri said, and started eating first.

Chu Feng held his chopsticks, eating his porridge uncertainly at first, then stealing glances at Ah Li. He thought, "Is he really going to encounter the Ghost Pavilion?"

Ahri ripped off a chicken leg from the roast chicken and put it in Chu Feng's hand, saying, "Eat up. You'll have the strength to take revenge when you're full."

Upon hearing this, Chu Feng recalled the disgusting faces of those people, nodded quickly, and lowered his head to eat.

After finishing their meal, Ah Li tidied up the food, then carried the table away.

Chu Feng stood up and followed them out, only to see Ah Li walking towards a black pavilion, a pavilion that emitted black smoke from top to bottom.

Ah Li didn't turn around. For her, it was normal for the Ghost Pavilion to be seen by those destined to see it, but they just couldn't get in. Only she could take the things inside out and let those destined to see them.

Chu Feng stared at the pavilion emitting black smoke, waited quietly for a while until Ah Li came out, then stepped forward and said, "So, you helped me, what do I need to give in return?"

Are you sure you want to know now?
