Chapter 55 The Mysterious Pavilion 3

The mission is to make Chu Feng the richest man in Suyang City, so that he can live a peaceful and happy life.

Because Chu Feng was a virtuous person for nine lifetimes, the accumulated good karma from those nine lifetimes has brought him immeasurable merit.

This life is his tenth reincarnation. As long as he upholds kindness and continues to do good deeds, the blessings and merits of his ten lifetimes will all converge on him, making him a moral exemplar in the world. If he has even greater good fortune, he may even become an earth immortal.

However, in this life, there is a Su Lianxin, who is a transmigrator. The first person she saw was Chu Feng, and she even became an observer in her soul form, witnessing Chu Feng's success in this life. Su Lianxin also gradually fell in love with Chu Feng.

However, when she was able to touch the things of this world, she realized that the time was wrong. She had transmigrated into Chu Feng's stepmother, and Chu Feng was still a little kid.

Ten years of forbearance had fueled her ambition. She knew the future of the Chu family and desired their immense wealth. Therefore, after having Chu Tianxiong imprisoned, she began to target Chu Feng.

Chu Feng had never had any dealings with the Ghost Pavilion before, because he always upheld his kind heart.

The Mysterious Pavilion, this enigmatic and unpredictable force, has quietly risen in the martial arts world like a chilling wind.

On the other side, Ahri quickly got everything ready.

When Chu Feng looked at the magnificent clothes in front of him, he doubted for the first time whether he had made a mistake from the beginning. The Ghost Pavilion was mysterious, and Ah Li was a person from the Ghost Pavilion. Her temperament was definitely unpredictable. He shouldn't have messed with her. Instead, he should have used her.

Ahri squinted at Chu Feng, her fox-like eyes instantly narrowing with pleasure. This guy is starting to get a brain, not bad.

Chu Feng changed into magnificent clothes, his entire being as upright and handsome as a jade tree, so beautiful that it was impossible to look away. His face was handsome, and his brows revealed an untamed and heroic spirit, making people fall in love with him.

Ah Li looked him over, then snapped her fingers, and two servants appeared beside Chu Feng.

Chu Feng concealed his shock and asked calmly, "Who is this?"

"Don't worry about your servants. They're practically like living people, very clever. If you have something to do, they'll do it very well. Of course, if you want them to disappear, they'll vanish without a trace."

"You've arranged a servant for me, but what about you?" Chu Feng looked at Ah Li, who had assumed Ah Li would personally accompany him.

Ah Li shook her head and said in a calm tone, "Chu Feng, as the master of the Ghost Pavilion, I will always provide you with assistance from the shadows. I will help you deal with all the people and things you hate, and I will also provide you with the information you need. Of course, I will not easily show myself, so as not to cause unnecessary trouble."

As soon as she finished speaking, Ahri disappeared.

The two servants immediately sprang into action and stood respectfully by Chu Feng's side.

Seeing that Chu Feng still hadn't moved, a servant hurriedly went to open the door, respectfully saying, "Young Master, the carriages and horses are ready outside. We can go back now."

"Carriages and horses?"

Chu Feng had nothing of value; his fine clothes were all given to him by Ah Li. Where did he get the carriage and horses?

"It was prepared by the Pavilion Master."

The servant said this and stood by the door waiting for Chu Feng to go first.

It's her.

Chu Feng moved his fingers, then walked out with his head held high and chest out.

As soon as I went downstairs, the guests in the lobby below erupted in excitement.

"Young Master Chu has appeared!"

"Young Master Chu, I'm so glad you're alright."

Chu Feng nodded with great composure, and then, escorted by a servant, boarded the carriage parked outside the inn.

The news that the eldest son of the Chu family was unharmed and had returned safely spread quickly throughout Suyang City.

When Su Lianxin heard the news, she smashed a vase and gritted her teeth, saying, "They're all useless!"

When the carriage stopped, Chu Feng was helped off the carriage by the servant, and when he looked up, he saw the two big characters "Chu Mansion".

Su Lianxin stood at the gate of the mansion, looking haggard, her eyes seemingly filled with emotion. Supported by her maid, she said, "Thank goodness you're safe and sound, otherwise how could I explain to the master?"

Chu Feng pursed his lips, completely ignoring Su Lianxin. He knew this woman's vicious nature, and he would never be deceived by her appearance again.

After Chu Feng left, Su Lianxin's maid asked, "What's wrong with the young master?"

Su Lianxin burst into tears instantly, looking utterly pitiful, and said, "Perhaps he resents me for not going to see him in person."

Seeing this, the maidservant quickly tried to comfort Su Lianxin, but she cried even harder, as if she had suffered a great injustice.

The maids all knew that Su Lianxin was putting on an act, but they could only play along, since Su Lianxin was their mistress.

Chu Feng ignored the hypocritical posturing of the mistress and servants. He had two servants stand guard at the door and then went into his father's study.

The study was the same as before, but there were significant differences.

Ah Li appeared at this moment, leaning against a pillar in the room, and said, "Check the recent accounts. It seems that woman has transferred a lot of money from the Chu family."

Chu Feng looked at Ah Li with displeasure. This person likes to appear and disappear mysteriously. Doesn't he know he'll scare people to death?

However, he still walked over to a pile of ledgers and started flipping through them.

Ahri was talking about where the ledger had been altered, what the actual data looked like, and what had been changed.

When it was completely dark, Chu Feng closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair.

Two servants pushed open the door and came in; one lit the lamp, and the other brought the food, and then they left again.

"Dinner's ready," Ahri called out, and was the first to sit down.

Su Lianxin, standing outside the door, vaguely heard that there were other people in the study besides Chu Feng, but she was blocked by two servants and could not go in. Even if she got angry, no one would take her seriously.
