After passing two intersections, we arrived at Jiang Zean's home.
Jiang Zean's home was so clean that it didn't look like a place anyone lived in.
Ah Li didn't dare to go in; she felt a kind of awkwardness, as if she didn't know where to put her feet.
Jiang Zean gave Ali a pair of slippers and said, "I usually live at the company and rarely come back."
Ahri muttered to herself, "Back then you were skinny and small, always being bullied, but you never fought back or complained to the teacher. I never imagined that you would grow up to have a car and a house, and be so successful and accomplished. You're nothing like the person you were back then."
Just then, Jiang Zean was about to pour two glasses of water when he heard this. He paused slightly and said, "Yes, I was too cowardly back then, so no one was willing to help me."
"Who says no one is willing to help you!"
Ahri said unhappily, "I secretly told the teacher on me, otherwise why do you think the teacher always shows up so promptly?"
Jiang Zean placed the water in front of Ali and said, "Oh, it's you. No wonder the teacher sometimes comes over to ask me if I want to change seats?"
Two of the people who bullied him sat behind him.
Sometimes they would push the desks forward, squeezing Jiang Ze'an inside, making it difficult for him to even turn around. Sometimes they would deliberately make Jiang Ze'an open his mouth and spit into it. Sometimes they would even put their feet on Jiang Ze'an's chair, forbidding him from touching them. When Lin's parents saw their daughter again, Lin's mother hugged Ali tightly and cried out, "Don't go, baby, stay with Mommy, Mommy misses you so much!"
"Mom, I'm not leaving. I'll stay with you from now on."
With red eyes, Ah Li hugged Lin's mother because Jiang Ze'an said that she had sacrificed herself in an act of bravery.
Although it sounds far-fetched, seeing Lin's parents with their heads full of white hair, Ali couldn't help but feel sad and cried along with Lin's mother.
On this day, Ahri returned to the system space and looked at the system administrator who appeared. This time, he was wearing dark blue pajamas with yellow stars.
"You've softened your heart again?"
The system administrator flipped through the booklet in his hand without looking at Ali.
Ali found a small stool and sat down, saying, "Although it's a bizarre and fantastical story, I still want to do it. I want them to wait for their daughter to come back."
