The fat man was startled and shouted, "Are you blind?"
Wearing a helmet, Su Shuai revealed a pair of emotionless eyes and asked, "What do you want?"
The fat man narrowed his eyes, sizing up Su Shuai. When he noticed the tattoo on the back of Su Shuai's right hand, he realized that this man was not someone to be trifled with.
At this moment, Su Shuai turned the throttle with his right hand, producing a few roaring sounds from the motorcycle.
The fat man chickened out, grabbed the bottle, and turned to leave.
After everyone left, Su Shuai drove the car to the entrance of the alley and turned on the headlights towards the alley.
Ah Li leaned against the wall, her head lowered, not looking towards the alley entrance.
She secretly tightened her grip on the brick in her hand. Who was this guy? She was originally prepared to lure that fatso into the alley and beat him up.
As a result, this person appeared.
Also, it's really annoying to shine your headlights on people like that.
Ah Li was still thinking about whether to throw the brick in her hand when the person got out of the car and moved the front of the car to the side, but the light still shone into the alley.
The man walked towards Ah Li, his body blocking the light shining into the alley.
A soft chuckle came from the man's mouth, and he said, "You look really pathetic."
As the others drew closer, Ah Li recognized him as the photographer, Su Shuai.
At this moment, Su Shuai took out a room key from his pocket and suddenly placed it on Ah Li's lips, then kissed the room key.
Ah Li was about to swing the brick in her hand when Su Shuai grabbed her hand. He looked at Ah Li's hand and saw that her fair hand was holding a moss-covered brick, which made him feel uncomfortable.
Hands like that are not suitable for holding things like that.
The room card on Ahri's lips fell off and landed at the neckline of her V-neck.
Su Shuai laughed, so hard that his shoulders started shaking.
Ahri looked down at the room key, where there was a lipstick mark.
Her mind was now filled with the original owner's memories. "I'm going to give these room cards to the good-looking people in the film crew and see how many of them will take the bait!"
Lin Lianlian, standing next to the original owner, stamped a half-lip print on each room key, asking, "But isn't this a bit inappropriate?"
"Are you stupid? This is called entrapment. Whoever comes, we'll take a picture of them entering the room. Even if we're not in the room, with the picture of them entering, if they dare not send me the resources, I'll expose them. Whether it's good or bad, it's all up to us."
The original owner's smug expression made Ahri instantly decide that she must never smile like that again, as it gave people the urge to kill her.
"Throw it away."
Su Shuai took out a pack of tissues from his pocket and looked at the brick in Ah Li's hand.
Now, she has to take the blame for the original owner's actions.
Ah Li threw away the brick in her hand, and then reached up to grab the room key from her collar, intending to throw that away as well.
Su Shuai grasped her wrist and said, "Don't throw this away yet." He easily took the room key from Ali's hand.
Ahri didn't ask why, but instead said to him, "Thank you for tonight."
"It's nothing, it's just that that person won't take you back?"
Ahri shook her head. "It's inconvenient."
Su Shuai couldn't help but imagine that the man was married, and the person in front of him... was someone he was keeping on the side.
As Ahri emerged from the alley, she glanced at the motorcycle at the alley's entrance; the key was still in the ignition.
Ah Li asked Su Shuai, "Do you live around here too?"
"No, I was just going that way."
Su Shuai followed behind Ah Li and asked, "You live here?"
"Um."
Su Shuai parked the car in a parking space and then asked Ah Li, "Which floor do you live on?"
"Fourth floor."
Su Shuai looked up at the fourth floor of the building, which was neither too high nor too low, and there were safety railings outside the windows.
"Come on, I'll take you up."
After Su Shuai finished speaking, he went to the place where Ah Li had just come out.
These buildings were built a long time ago; the staircases are narrow, and the motion-activated lights are unreliable.
On each floor, there are two households, right across from each other.
The stairwell was cluttered with miscellaneous items and small advertisements for services such as unclogging drains, repairing water pipes, and unlocking locks.
There were also unidentified marks on the wall, which looked like mold.
During the time they went upstairs, neither Ah Li nor Su Shuai spoke.
Upon reaching the third floor, light shone through a security door.
Ahri stopped and took out sunglasses from her bag and put them on.
Su Shuai looked over and saw that the fat man from before was inside the door, facing outwards, letting loose and having his bird out to roam freely.
He was at home and hadn't gone outside, so calling the police wouldn't do any good.
Su Shuai blocked Ah Li's way, letting her pass first. He looked the fat man up and down with disdain, then raised his hand, held up his little finger, and grinned at the fat man.
The fat man's face turned pale, and he slammed the door shut, cursing under his breath.
When we got to the fourth floor, there were a few more people sitting in the hallway playing cards. They had thrown away quite a few peanut shells, beer cans, and cigarette butts.
They didn't fight inside their own room, but deliberately left the door open.
Most of the space in the stairwell was occupied.
Su Shuai looked at Ali, who seemed used to it. She took out her key from her bag and opened the door.
Su Shuai thought that since the person had been safely delivered home, he wouldn't go inside.
Suddenly, his hand was grabbed by Ahri.
He looked at Ah Li and saw fear in her eyes, as if she had something to say to him.
Su Shuai also noticed that there was a man in his forties or fifties in the house, shirtless, drinking alcohol, with an action movie playing silently on the TV. He realized that Ah Li had returned.
"What are you doing? Why aren't you coming in? What are you doing standing at the door?"
