Chapter 609 The Apocalypse: She Is a God 7

Meanwhile, Li Guang led his men to Tang Suye's location.

Tang Suye was fighting with Lao Gou when Lao Gou noticed Li Guang approaching. He shouted smugly, "You're all here! Looks like my plan was a success!"

Li Guang didn't send anyone back because of Lao Gou's words. Instead, he stood aside and watched Tang Suye slash at Lao Gou with the dagger in his hand.

Tang Suye was anxious because he had just discovered that the old dog had captured a lot of people from somewhere, injured them badly, and had them taken away.

Tang Suye immediately realized that the old dog wanted to lure the zombies over, and that the strong smell of blood was something he had arranged; he wanted the zombies to surround the city.

He absolutely will not allow it!

Tang Suye's gaze grew increasingly resolute, the dagger in his hand gleaming coldly; he was determined to eliminate this menace, Old Dog.

He will avenge his family members today!

However, the old dog did not seem to be in a hurry to retaliate. He smiled slyly, deliberately creating an opening to lure Tang Suye deeper, while glancing around with his peripheral vision, as if waiting for a certain opportunity to arrive.

Li Guang noticed the change in Lao Gou's expression and quickly gave instructions to the people around him: some were responsible for keeping watch around in case of any unforeseen circumstances, while others set off to see if they could rescue those who had been caught by Lao Gou.

Old Dog noticed Li Guang's actions and mercilessly mocked him: "Captain Li, you're still thinking about saving people? Why don't you hurry back to the safe zone to make final arrangements? Be careful of zombie attacks; none of the people in your safe zone will survive."

"Bullshit!"

Tang Suye was about to deliver a fatal blow to the old dog when suddenly, the ground began to shake.

A roar came from afar, the terrifying sound unique to zombies.

A sinister smile spread across the old dog's face. Everything was just as he had predicted. "Haha, it's too late. The zombie horde is closing in. None of you can escape!"

He laughed wildly, as if he could already see the zombie horde and the panicked people inside the safe zone.

Tang Suye paused only briefly before charging towards the old dog. He plunged the dagger into the old dog's chest and began to rotate it inside the dog's chest.

"If there really is a zombie apocalypse, you'll be the first to die, I guarantee it."

The smile on Old Dog's face was instantly replaced by pain. He had been careless for a moment and had not expected that Tang Suye could launch such a decisive counterattack in such a desperate situation.

His face contorted in pain, his eyes wide open, filled with resentment and astonishment.

Fresh blood dripped slowly down the dagger.

"you……"

Old Dog's voice trembled with pain as he tried to struggle, but Tang Suye pulled out the dagger and plunged it in again.

Old Dog coughed up a mouthful of blood, but he laughed and said, "It's alright. If you kill me, the people in the safe zone will die with me, especially your leader, she will die too!"

Because of Old Dog's words, the surrounding air seemed to freeze, leaving only their heavy breathing and the faint roars of zombies in the distance, growing closer and closer, indicating that the footsteps of the apocalypse had not stopped.

Tang Suye's expression grew increasingly blank, his eyes growing colder. "She won't die."

He will protect her; even if he dies, she will not die.

Tang Suye slowly drew his dagger, letting the old dog's body fall limply to the ground.

Old Dog was panting heavily. He put his hand on the wound on his chest. Why hadn't this man killed him?

At this moment, Tang Suye, holding a dagger, strode towards Li Guang and said, "Uncle Li, let's go back quickly, the boss must still be waiting for us."

The threat of a zombie siege should not be underestimated; it could be fatal for the safe zone.

Suddenly, the zombies' roars seemed to fade into the distance.

The zombie horde didn't come this way; instead, it went somewhere else.

Just as Tang Suye was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he noticed that Li Guang was crying, crying towards the distance.

"Uncle Li, why are you crying? Are you crying because you're excited? Because the zombies haven't besieged the city?"

Tang Suye also wanted to say that a man doesn't easily shed tears, and that he would make a good mockery of Li Guang in front of the boss.

The next second, a beam of light suddenly shot into the sky from a distance.

The beam of light was exceptionally dazzling, as if it had torn the sky apart, bringing an indescribable visual shock.

Li Guang's tears glistened in the light, and his voice choked with emotion: "It's nothing."

Tang Suye involuntarily stopped in his tracks, his gaze fixed on the light. Why did he also feel the urge to cry?

After the beam of light dissipated, Tang Suye's voice trembled, "Uncle Li, do you think that beam of light came from? Could it be that someone has found a way to fight the zombies, or some kind of distress signal?"

Li Guang shook his head, his expression complicated. He patted Tang Suye on the shoulder and told someone to take the old dog with them.

Tang Suye, however, looked towards the direction of the safe zone. Why hadn't she come out? Whenever something big happened in the safe zone, she would always be by Uncle Li's side.

Why didn't she come out and see that huge beam of light that just appeared?

The city wall was filled with people looking in the direction where the beam of light had appeared, but their leader wasn't there.

?

Five years later

"Why can't I find lots of sweets even if he doesn't like me?"

The original owner huddled in a dark corner, heartbroken and muttering to herself.

Ahri felt her head buzzing. Outside, zombies surrounded the car, banging on it and scratching at the body with their nails, making a chilling sound.

Has she not finished fighting the zombies yet?

But she didn't seem to be driving.

Ahri shook her head and realized that she was wearing a dress, a pink princess dress at that.
