In the end, the Queen did not let Ahri hum a tune for her, because she felt like she had found someone willing to listen to her and talked to Ahri for a long time.
Ahri also asked her, "Do you have any other memories with the Blind Monk?"
The Queen said, "No, I just remember that Lee Sin really likes to jungle."
Finally, the two talked all night, and only hung up the phone after it ran out of battery.
The next day, Ahri went to school.
At school, Ahri didn't talk much with the Queen.
It seems that Her Majesty is quite busy and rarely goes online to chat.
However, Ahri just ate at the cafeteria today.
There was a person sitting in front of her. That person said, "I know you, Ali from Class 1, Senior 3."
Ah Li looked up at the person and asked, "Is there something you need, classmate?"
The man took out his phone and said, "Help me rank up, and I'll pay you."
Seeing that the person was about to transfer the money, Ahri said, "Thank you, but I don't do account boosting for others anymore."
The man turned his head to look behind Ahri and waved to the person behind Ahri.
Ah Li turned around and saw her roommate, the eldest, walking over with her face covered.
Then he sat down next to Ali, looked at her apologetically and said, "Ali, it's not that I meant to say it, but this person gave too much."
Ahri asked, "How much did you give them?"
The eldest brother held up five fingers and said, "That's the amount, my monthly food expenses."
"five hundred?"
Ah Li raised an eyebrow; she now keeps her monthly food expenses to five hundred.
The eldest sister nodded immediately and said, "This is still the price he paid me for your information; he'll calculate the price for the game separately."
The man tapped his finger on the table and said, "Can you help me rank up now?"
Ahri glanced at the person, lowered her head and finished all her food, then picked up her plate and left, saying, "My 20-minute meal time is over. I'm going to study now."
What does she mean?
The man glared angrily at the leader.
The boss really wanted to say, "Can't you see? Ahri just doesn't want to."
However, the eldest brother still said, "She probably hasn't had enough of the hardship of carrying bricks on a construction site. I'll talk to her about it later."
"Okay, try to persuade them. If they're not willing, I'll find someone else."
If it weren't for the fact that these two girls were good-looking, skilled at gaming, and from the same school, he wouldn't have patronized their business.
The eldest brother readily agreed, "Don't worry, I will definitely try to persuade her."
"Um."
The person left with the plate.
Ahri walked into the classroom, and the boss followed closely behind.
The leader followed behind Ah Li, earnestly saying, "Ah Li, why did you refuse? If you talk it over properly, he will definitely offer a high price."
Ahri took out the book and said, "Boss, it's not that I'm being pretentious, but I have a lot of studies to do right now. I need to get into a good university. As for helping people rank up in games, let's talk about that after I get into university."
The eldest sister slightly opened her mouth, understanding that Ah Li's family background might not be prominent, and that her desire to get into a good university was simply for her future prospects.
The classroom was quiet; everyone was doing their exercises, and only a few people were watching the two of them.
Ali also took out a set of exercises from under the desk.
"Okay, I understand, Ahri. You focus on your studies, I'll handle this."
After finishing speaking, the leader returned to his seat, took out his phone, and posted a message on his WeChat Moments with the caption: "Prioritizing studies lately, no more helping people rank up."
Then the boss sent a message to that person, directly refusing the offer and returning the five hundred yuan.
However, the person didn't accept it; instead, they replied, "Keep it, I don't need that little bit of money."
On the other side, Ahri noticed that the boss was engrossed in her phone messages, while the old boss stood quietly behind her, watching the boss intently.
The eldest brother, however, was completely unaware of this, and was sending messages to others with a smile on his face.
Ahri could only silently light a candle for her boss in her heart before burying herself in her practice.
Not long after, there was a gasp of surprise, followed by the teacher's words, "I'll return your phone at the end of this semester."
"No, teacher, I won't do it again next time."
The eldest brother hurriedly spoke up, but the old teacher still sternly took the phone away.
The entire classroom fell silent. The eldest brother sat in his seat, looking utterly dejected.
When the bell rang, it was finally time for get out of class to end.
The leader, like a wandering soul, silently followed behind Ahri.
Ahri caught a glimpse of this scene, a slight smile playing on her lips, and said, "Alright, stop looking so gloomy. I'll help you find your teacher and get your phone back."
The eldest son was skeptical. "Would the teacher really be willing to give it back to me?"
Ahri said confidently, "Don't worry, listen to me, the teacher will definitely give it to us."
The eldest brother sighed softly, "Then shall we give it a try?"
"Walk."
Ali and the boss went to the teacher's office together. Ali walked up to the teacher and started chatting with him.
The eldest brother was on pins and needles, glancing at Ahri and Laoban every now and then.
Sometimes, she would meet the teacher's gaze, and she would quickly lower her head, looking as if she knew she was wrong.
Soon after, the teacher took the confiscated cell phone out of the drawer, handed it to the eldest brother, and instructed him, "Don't let this happen again."
The eldest sister took the phone in disbelief. She looked at Ah Li, then at the teacher, and said repeatedly, "Thank you, teacher. It won't happen again."
