The eldest brother looked at the two of them as if they were having an affair, and then openly sized up Chen Jiu.
Shen Jiu greeted her obediently, "Hello, senior. I need to talk to Ali."
The leader quickly said, "Ah Li is right here. I'm leaving her in your care. I have other things to do, so I'll be going now."
Ah Li watched her eldest brother walk away quickly, but Shen Jiu blushed and said, "I came here with my friend. He has a younger sister who studies here."
"Hmm." Ah Li responded, then looked at Shen Jiu, who suddenly seemed a little uncomfortable.
Shen Jiu didn't know what to say, so he looked at his phone and said, "I don't know how long my friend will need."
Should I send a message to ask?
"ah?"
Shen Jiu looked at Ah Li awkwardly.
He wanted to spend more time with Ahri, and he didn't come with any friends.
Ahri lowered her head and smiled, saying, "Let me show you around our school."
"Is it okay? Will it interfere with your studies?"
"It doesn't matter."
Ah Li smiled gently, and then led Chen Jiu on a stroll around the campus.
Along the way, Shen Jiu asked Ahri for many tips on playing Lee Sin, as he used to be an avid Lee Sin player. However, since he started playing with Ahri and witnessed her professional Lee Sin skills, he has rarely played Lee Sin anymore.
Ahri also turned off strategy reminders because, often, numerical values and human perception are different.
Now, that pampered rich second-generation girl has met Ah Li, but she doesn't click with Shen Jiu. Isn't that a kind of change?
The two chatted and laughed as they walked toward the confession wall on campus, when suddenly Ahri stopped.
She discovered that photos of the original owner of herself when she was overweight had been posted on a confession wall, along with a comparison of her current photos.
When Shen Jiu saw that Ah Li had stopped, he looked over as well and said, "Oh, it's her."
"Hmm? You've seen this chubby girl before?" Ah Li looked at Shen Jiu with some surprise, as she remembered that the original owner of this body had never met Shen Jiu.
Shen Jiu glanced at the annotation next to the photo and said, "I've never seen her, but my classmate told me about her. She's a heavyweight girl from the school next door... wait a minute."
Shen Jiu turned to look at Ah Li, then at the photos on the confession wall.
The photo displayed on the confession wall for comparison is a side profile of Ahri doing exercises in the classroom.
You really can't tell unless you look closely.
"You've realized it now?"
Ah Li chuckled. She thought he would recognize her immediately, but it was only now that she realized the person in the photo was her.
"Is this you? You've lost weight from carrying bricks?"
Ahri's face, which had been slightly smiling, froze completely. She was sure she wouldn't be able to get through this by losing weight from carrying bricks, right?
Shen Jiu looked at the chubby photo again and said, "Actually, you're not that thin now. You still have baby fat on your face."
To be honest, Shen Jiu thinks that Ah Li is now slim where she should be slim and plump where she should be plump, which is just right and appropriate.
Ahri then asked, "If you were still chubby like before, would you be disappointed?"
Shen Jiu thought for a moment and said, "I don't know."
The first time he saw Ahri was when she was live streaming. There were no beauty filters or special effects; she just looked like she was under normal lighting. But he was instantly smitten.
Although he is only a junior in high school and Ah Li is a senior, he will wait until Ah Li gets into university before confessing his feelings to her. He cannot act impulsively and cause Ah Li any trouble.
Ahri didn't speak, so Shen Jiu continued, "But who knows what will happen if nothing happens? However, based on your Lee Sin skills, I won't care too much about your appearance."
Ah Li smiled, then led Chen Jiu to continue strolling around the campus.
As the class was about to end, Ali and Shen Jiu arrived at the school gate, and Shen Jiu slowed down.
Does time really fly by?
Seeing that Shen Jiu seemed to have not had enough of shopping, Ah Li said, "When I have time, I will come to your place to find you, and then you can show me around too."
Upon hearing this, Shen Jiu immediately perked up and said, "Great! I have several secret bases near my school that only I know about. I'll take you there to see them later."
"Okay, goodbye then." Ahri raised her hand and waved.
Shen Jiu simply said, "Goodbye," and then left without looking back.
Ali and the others walked away before turning back to the teaching building.
When we got back, the eldest brother leaned over with a gossipy look on his face and said, "I heard that junior is from the school next door?"
"Mmm," Ahri replied.
The leader asked Ahri's deskmate to leave for a moment. She sat down and whispered in Ahri's ear, "Tell me secretly, how did you get him?"
Ahri pushed the person away, saying, "Don't talk nonsense. I'm a normal person. We met in a game."
"Oh, so this counts as meeting in person? How was it? Were your illusions shattered?"
After finishing speaking, the eldest brother tapped his head and continued, "Look at me, I forgot. If it were the chubby you from before, that junior would definitely have taken the train and left the city that very night. But now, that junior must be overjoyed."
Ahri didn't say anything, but pulled out her practice books.
The eldest daughter is a good student. Despite her seemingly unreliable demeanor, she is a true academic star, consistently ranking in the top ten of her grade in every exam.
