As a result, Xu Ze'an was like a piece of unpolished jade, radiating a warm and restrained brilliance, and was even lured home by his sister.
Dong Wenqiang said, "Didn't you just say you were friends?"
Ahri chuckled twice, "Boyfriends are friends too."
Dong Wenqiang didn't laugh. He wouldn't do something like breaking up a couple; he would make people back down.
Besides, his sister is still young; who knows if she might change her mind later?
The study door opened, and Ahri came out carrying documents.
Ru Hua quickly reached out and took it, looking Ah Li up and down, "Did he hit you?"
"No, he just asked me to go to the company with him in the future, saying that I should get to know him first."
"That's good."
Ru Hua breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at the documents in her hand and said, "Are all of these to be read tonight?"
"They didn't say, but it's not bad either."
Ah Li looked at Xu Ze'an, who stood quietly, his gaze gentle as he looked at her.
Regardless of whether her older brother agrees to them being together, he will stay by her side.
"Let's go back."
Ah Li walked over and took Xu Ze'an's hand.
Ru Hua followed behind and whispered, "The young master is home tonight, I think you should keep a low profile."
"My brother is blind."
As Ali spoke, she glanced towards the study, only to find Dong Wenqiang standing at the study door.
Ahri felt guilty instantly. Oh well, she decided not to bring anyone to the room tonight.
"Xiao An, you'll sleep downstairs tonight, okay? Be good." Ah Li raised her hand and patted Xu Ze'an's head, speaking softly.
Xu Ze'an said he understood, and that there was a guest room downstairs for him.
Ru Hua felt a pang of jealousy and muttered, "It's not like they've been living together for ages. Aren't they usually one upstairs and one downstairs?"
etc!
Ru Hua looked at Ah Li and Xu Ze'an, wondering if the two of them had been together behind her back while she was asleep.
Ah Li raised her hand and flicked Ru Hua's forehead, saying, "Don't overthink it, we're still innocent."
Ru Hua covered her forehead and said, "I didn't think anything of it. You two are always so lovey-dovey, it's easy for people to misunderstand."
"Come with me for a moment."
Ah Li, annoyed, put her arm around Ru Hua's neck and led her to her room. She then turned back to Xu Ze'an and said, "You go back to your room first. Ru Hua and I have something to talk about."
Ru Hua, holding the documents in her hands, watched as Ah Li and Xu Ze'an finished talking before closing the door.
Xu Zean looked towards Dong Wenqiang, who exchanged a glance with him before turning and returning to his study, though leaving the door open.
Xu Ze'an clenched his fist and headed towards the study.
He wanted to be with her; he wanted to prove to her that he could give her a future.
On the other side, Ah Li led Ru Hua into the house and asked, "Do you still remember An Yinghe?"
Ru Hua asked, puzzled, "Who is it?"
Ahri raised her hand as if to tap her on the head, "You really forgot?"
"Wait a minute, let me ask someone." Ru Hua took out her phone and sent a message.
Not long after, Ru Hua received the news.
Ru Hua said, "That person is currently studying at a university in S City, and he recently attended a class reunion."
A class reunion?
"Yes, it wasn't organized by people from Class F, it was organized by people from Class A."
An Yinghe eventually went to Class A because she couldn't learn anything in Class F and was bullied terribly.
In Class F, everyone was indifferent and thought it was normal for her to be bullied; no one helped her at all.
However, the four idiots from Class A would occasionally come to her defense and stand up for her.
Ahri wasn't very familiar with the people in Class A, and she didn't know anyone in Class A either. She walked to the bedside, hugged the huge plush toy on the bed, and said, "Never mind, let's not talk about her. Can you take a look at these documents for me first? Are they difficult?"
Ru Hua originally wanted to ask if An Yinghe was causing trouble again, but seeing that Ah Li didn't want to mention her, she walked to the desk and picked up the documents in her hand.
Ahri leaned against the giant doll. The original owner of the doll was a vicious female supporting character who bullied the female lead. Later, she was retaliated against and died in poverty in a rented room.
She didn't personally take action when she arrived, but the storyline of the female lead being bullied continued.
Now, the female lead is going to get her revenge... It's impossible for her not to retaliate.
Ahri touched the big bow tie around the neck of the giant doll. It was strange, really. Why didn't the female protagonist of this world fight back?
If they were to go all out and beat one of them to death, escalating the situation, the final outcome would be uncertain.
