Chapter 710 When the Villainous Female Supporting Character Stops Making a Move 7

However, the courtyard was quiet and deserted.

Ahri was carried to a dark place by Ying Er. She deliberately shifted her body and said, "Are you jealous? Are you worried that I'll go to him?"

Ahri's fingertips moved from Ying Er's face to his throat, and even touched it.

Ying Er said in a hoarse voice, holding the man tightly around the waist, "If you take that medicine, I can help you too."

That man was worse than an animal; he drugged the wine.

Ahri chuckled and lowered her hand, grasping a certain unspeakable place. She said, "You can't get so easily excited."

The two of them, entangled and flirting, entered the small room next door.

Ahri was held tightly by Ying Er and pressed against the wall.

On the other side of the wall, Ji Xianlin was there.

Shadow Two whispered in Ahri's ear, "Should we make some noise so he can hear us and come over to see what we look like now?"

A glint of light flashed in Ahri's eyes. "Not bad."

However, Shadow Two suddenly kissed her lips; he didn't want that person to see her alluring appearance now.

However, the noise couldn't be stopped. Soon, intense, ambiguous sounds, along with the sound of water, came from the small room.

Ji Xianlin frowned. He had seen the small room next door before; it was just used to store miscellaneous items.

But where did this sound come from?

Ji Xianlin opened the door again, but all around was still quiet, as if what he had just heard was his imagination.

He walked to the door of the small room, but there was no sound from inside. Was he hallucinating?

Ahri was radiating heat as she opened her mouth and bit into the man's hard pectoral muscle.

Shadow Two didn't go out. He and Ah Li hugged tightly, and he looked at the shadow on the window. This person had absolutely no connection with Shadow One.

That night, Ji Xianlin lay in bed, occasionally hearing strange noises, but when he got up to look for them, he found nothing.

He couldn't get into the small room over there because it was filled with many things, and the door was blocked by fallen objects, so he couldn't push it open.

He thought, either the house itself is infested with mice, or the small room next door is infested with mice. He'll have someone come and check it out tomorrow.

The next day, Ji Xianlin lay on the bed expressionlessly, clutching the blanket tightly with both hands. He had a dream last night in which Su Li was too alluring, driving him crazy and making him lose his sense of proportion.

So, he coughed lightly, sat up, and even rolled the blanket up before getting up to change his pants.

In the small room, Ah Li leaned against Ying Er's chest. She looked around and saw that the window of the small room was broken. Originally, a few wooden boards had been nailed to seal it up. Now, the boards were still there, but they were not sturdy anymore.

Shadow Two placed his hand on Ahri's shoulder, feeling the smooth and soft texture there.

Ahri looked up and kissed his chin, saying, "Still savoring the memory?"

Ying Er kissed her lips and said, "Mmm."

That feeling was incredibly intoxicating, making one feel as if they were floating on air, experiencing extreme joy.

Ah Li chuckled softly. This guy was a bit of a brooding character. He deliberately blocked the door and made a commotion to attract attention, but then he stopped moving.

Once everyone left, they started acting recklessly again.

Seeing that Ahri could still laugh, Shadow Two rolled over and said, "Continue."

Ahri raised her hand and hugged the person. This person was very strong and could bring her the ultimate pleasure.

In broad daylight, many people were up, and the sounds of people talking and carriage wheels passing by could be heard all around.

And then there's the sound of Ji Xianlin... washing bed sheets.

When Ji Xianlin sent someone to catch the rats, the small room was opened with a push.

It was full of miscellaneous items, and after opening the door, there was a musty smell of something that hadn't been ventilated for a long time, as well as an indescribable odor that wasn't very noticeable.

"Young master, would you like someone to come and clean up?"

Ji Xianlin shook his head and said, "No need."

The small room was full of clutter and cobwebs. Su Li had never opened the room when she was there, and he didn't want to touch it either.

"By the way, young master, the master said that there will be a wedding at the manor on the eighth day of next month."

Ji Xianlin was taken aback at first, then chuckled and said, "That Yin Ruyue hasn't left yet, has she?"

The servant answered truthfully, "No, it's still at the manor."

"Did she want to stay, or did my father make her stay?"

"Well... I don't know."

Seeing that Ji Xianlin wasn't unhappy and even had a slight smile on his face, the servant said, "Young master, have you fallen for that Yin Ruyue?"

The two seemed to have only met a few times, and each meeting ended unhappily.

Ji Xianlin laughed and said, "Who said I like him? It's my father who likes him. We don't even know who will get married in the end."

He didn't like staying in the prefect's mansion because of his good father, who had angered his mother to death and had taken more than a dozen concubines.

He doesn't care how old he is; if he takes a fancy to a young girl, he'll bring her home.

Upon hearing this, the servant suddenly felt as if he had discovered something extraordinary. "Could it be!"

"Shhh."

Ji Xianlin raised his hand to his lips and said, "Things are not settled yet, so keep it a secret."

Meanwhile, Ahri and Shadow Two returned to the Shadow Guard Camp, only to hear that another batch of children had been sent there.

Each child was taken to the back of the mountain, where a secret training base was built.

Ahri and Shadow Two stood on high ground, watching as children, at such a young age, learned to pick up weapons and kill those around them just for a bite to eat.

Some children have learned to cooperate and have formed their own small groups.

There were teachers responsible for instructing them, and people responsible for watching over them.

Ahri and Shadow Two appeared here partly to check on their training progress and partly to identify promising talents to train individually and make them their successors.

On the way down the mountain, the setting sun was like blood, and its afterglow was spilled on the winding path.

Shadow Two suddenly stopped, turned around and hugged Ahri beside him, his voice trembling slightly: "Do we have to continue living this life of walking on thin ice, like standing on a knife's edge?"

Ah Li was taken aback by the sudden hug. She slowly raised her hand, removed the exquisite yet cold mask from his face, and said with some complicated feelings, "Are you tired of this kind of life, living in constant fear day after day?"

Shadow Two did not answer immediately, but pursed his lips, his deep eyes like an abyss.

After a long silence, he slowly spoke, his voice low and heavy: "It's not weariness, it's fear. I'm afraid that the people we've poured our hearts and souls into teaching will one day kill us without mercy and take our place."

"Isn't this normal?"

“I used to think it was normal, but, Shadow One, I’ve fallen for you. I’ve fallen for you. Now all of this scares me. I don’t want you to die, and I don’t want to be separated from you.”
