Hua Jingtian noticed that Murong Yan hadn't answered his question, so he asked again, "Do you rank those people by age?"
Murong Yan hadn't yet snapped out of her daydream, and she said absentmindedly, "No."
"So who was your first man?"
Just as Hua Jingtian asked this question, Ali came out of Xu Fangzhi's room.
Is he planning to abandon her and choose Murong Yan instead, just because Xu Fangzhi also likes her?
Ah Li felt a pang of bitterness in her heart. She pursed her lips and stared at Hua Jingtian's back. If he really wanted to choose Murong Yan, she would... she would tie him up, cripple his third leg, and then make him watch her and Xu Fangzhi being all lovey-dovey and inseparable every day!
Murong Yan said shyly, "If you care, you can be my first man."
She has healing abilities and can recover completely.
Upon hearing Murong Yan's words, many of the superhumans behind her changed their expressions, all assuming that 'he was her first man.'
But what she's saying now doesn't seem to be like that.
Hua Jingtian stroked his chin. Sure enough, too many people wouldn't work, and people who were difficult to get along with wouldn't work either.
Xu Fangzhi's temperament is far better than those of these superhumans who have emerged from mountains of corpses and seas of blood.
He was obedient enough, so...
Hua Jingtian closed his eyes and made up his mind.
"Everyone, disperse and go about your own business. Don't crowd around here."
After Hua Jingtian finished speaking, he walked to a large rock to the side and chopped it in two with force.
He wasn't trying to intimidate anyone; he just wanted to fix the wall.
That hole in the wall is still too much of an eyesore.
So, Hua Jingtian cut the large rock into pieces the same size, width, and thickness as the hole, just like cutting tofu.
He effortlessly stuffed the cut-up large stone into the hole in the wall, kicked it, and patched it up.
Ahri blinked. Was this person no longer angry?
He didn't want to be with Murong Yan, so why did he ask about Murong Yan just now?
Hua Jingtian looked towards Ah Li. The person's eyes had looked a bit dangerous just now, but now they looked a bit dazed and cute.
She really doesn't want to share this with others.
Hua Jingtian sighed softly; he wanted to get some compensation from her.
The door to Hua Jingtian's house was closed again.
Murong Yan stood at the door, somewhat bewildered. Why was Hua Jingtian suddenly ignoring her?
The door closed.
Hua Jingtian reached out and hugged Ah Li, saying, "Stay with me until he wakes up, okay?"
Ahri nodded, "Okay."
Hua Jingtian carried her back to his room. He had a lot to say to her, such as that he couldn't treat her better than he treated her.
The outside gradually quieted down, and Murong Yan was half-dragged and half-carried away by her admirers.
Xu Fangzhi lay alone on his bed in his room, fast asleep, lost in his dreams of the past.
In his past dreams, no matter how badly he was injured, no one would take care of him or care about his pain; they were only concerned with seizing the few resources available.
He was left to fend for himself.
The body is repairing itself, and many things are being reorganized. It hurts a lot, it's a persistent pain, and it's also itchy and numb.
"Su Li".
Xu Fangzhi opened his eyes slightly; he seemed to hear Su Li calling him.
His hand moved slightly, slowly resting on the hole in his chest.
A healing green light appeared between his palms, and the hole also flickered with green light, as he accelerated his body's self-repair.
A sharp pain struck, but Xu Fangzhi gritted his teeth and endured it, whispering, "Su Li, don't be afraid."
His memory is stuck on the time when the zombie horde attacked, and he was probably abandoned as a dead man, just like before.
Nobody cared about him, nobody paid attention to him, and zombies wouldn't be interested in an inanimate object.
It's unclear whether Hua Jingtian can take good care of Su Li, or whether he has taken her away from the base to live a life of wandering.
Without him by her side, she wondered if Su Li would cry because she couldn't get up after being bullied by Hua Jingtian.
?
Time flies like sand through your fingers, and more than half a year has passed in the blink of an eye.
Xu Fangzhi became more awake. He slowly opened his eyes, feeling as if he didn't know what day it was. He pressed his chest, which was still a little sore, and got out of bed.
He looked around; it was his room.
It was quiet all around, as if he were the only one there.
Where is Su Li?
Xu Fangzhi staggered as he walked out, glancing towards the room where Hua Jingtian and Su Li had previously lived. He slowly moved over there.
He wanted to see if she was still there.
The door was unlocked, and someone was hiding under the covers on the large bed, with occasional sobs coming from inside. "Xu Fangzhi, when are you going to wake up? I miss you so much. With you here, I won't feel so bad."
Ahri didn't dare to move; her whole body was in pain.
That bastard Hua Jingtian went too far.
Ah Li also had a ring on her finger, which Hua Jingtian personally put on her finger. He also said that once Xu Fangzhi woke up, he would spend Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with her, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, instead of every day.
Didn't he say he was going out today?
You're back so soon?
Ahri sniffed, pressed the corner of the blanket down, and said pitifully, "Don't come any closer, I'm really feeling unwell right now."
If Xu Fangzhi could wake up now, he wouldn't be so tired and unable to move.
When Xu Fangzhi heard Ah Li say she missed him, he knew how much of that longing was genuine, but the smile on his lips never faded. He slowly moved to the bedside, pulled the blanket up, and said, "Where does it hurt? Let me take a look."
Ah Li calmed her breathing and slowly lifted a corner of the blanket, pulling it open little by little, until she could see Xu Fangzhi standing by the bed.
"Xu Fangzhi! You're awake, that's wonderful!"
Ah Li threw off the blanket, her face beaming with joy.
Xu Fangzhi's face was pale, but he was smiling. He said, "Yes, I'm awake."
Ahri's gaze fell on his chest, and she asked, "Are you still in pain?"
With a smile, Xu Fangzhi reached out and took Ah Li's hand, saying, "It doesn't hurt anymore, let me help you first."
A burst of green light flowed into Ahri's body through their clasped hands.
Ali abruptly withdrew her hand and said, "Xu Fangzhi, you're a big liar."
Xu Fangzhi felt a sharp pain in his chest, and his face turned ashen. He said, "Ali, I didn't lie to you."
Ahri turned around and said unhappily, "You look terrible and you're trying to hold back. You're not even better yourself, yet you're trying to control me. I don't want to talk to you anymore."
Xu Fangzhi, you big fool.
Hua Jingtian leaned against the doorway, looking at Xu Fangzhi, who was pale and at a loss, and Ah Li, who had her back to them and seemed to be sulking.
He slowly began to speak: "I brought back some food. Let's have some together. After we finish eating, I have something important to announce."
