'Ding-dong.'
The doorbell rang, and Ah Li, wearing thick glasses and a dowdy set of pajamas, went to open the door.
Standing outside the door was a handsome 18-year-old Korean-style boy with a youthful appearance, but already over 1.8 meters tall.
This is the younger brother of the original owner's best friend. He ran away from home after arguing with his parents and had nowhere to go, so his sister, who was very protective of her brother, introduced him to this place and asked the original owner to help take care of him.
The original owner was a lazy person who knew nothing about farming and was extremely socially awkward, struggling to support himself. Suddenly, he had to take in an eighteen-year-old boy.
The original owner replied, "Your Majesty, I cannot do it!"
So, Ahri arrived.
Ahri adjusted her thick glasses and said to the boy who had no luggage and was only wearing Ultraman pajamas, "Your sister already told me that the room over there is yours."
After Ahri finished speaking, she casually pointed and turned to go into her room.
The original owner's house was relatively clean and odorless. Even though the owner was not very active, at least they knew to take out the trash.
Young Chu Heng glanced in the direction Ah Li had pointed; it wasn't a room, but a kitchen.
Sure enough, just as his sister said, this person was extremely socially anxious and didn't even have the courage to make eye contact with others.
Just as Chu Heng was about to close the door, a deliveryman in a yellow robe came over, holding a phone in one hand and the food in the other. He glanced at the door number and said, "This is your food order. You just happened to open the door, so here you go."
Ahri opened the door, stood in the doorway, and said with a blank face, "Just bring it in, it's what I ordered."
Chu Heng glanced at the name on the takeout order: "Berserker Warrior Living on Flower Fruit Mountain." Pretty good, that's cringeworthy enough. No one would think it's a girl.
"Thanks."
Chu Heng took the food from the deliveryman and carried it inside.
Ali stood by the table, waiting for someone to bring in the takeout and place it on the table before she went over to open it and said, "I ordered boiled sliced pork and boiled sliced fish, both single servings. Which one would you like to eat?"
"Anything is fine."
Chu Heng didn't look in Ah Li's direction. His sister said that Ah Li was socially anxious, and if they made eye contact, she would get extremely nervous and unable to say a word.
Ali took a serving of boiled fish fillets and white rice, then sat down to eat.
Seeing that Ah Li had eaten, Chu Heng sat down as well.
Ahri paused slightly, then continued eating.
Chu Heng noticed this and moved to the side a little.
A 1.8-meter-long, light-colored wooden dining table appeared to be two meters long when the two of them sat down.
After finishing his meal, Ali was about to take the lunchbox to throw it away.
Chu Heng said, "Sister, let me handle this. I have some equipment to deliver later, and I need to go pick it up."
Ahri lowered her head and replied, "Okay, sure."
This person is a teenager who likes to play e-sports. His parents think that playing games is a bad thing and a lack of ambition.
Therefore, they neither saw nor cared about the glory he had attained.
This young man also participated in many online e-sports competitions and won a lot of prize money.
This time, there's an online competition for 'Dominate the World' that requires five people to team up and win together.
Chu Heng has been practicing with his friends recently to build rapport; they are in a guild.
Chu Heng also issued an announcement that he was looking for five substitute players.
Unfortunately, Ahri was also in the guild, and her name was 'Li Kui who only knows how to whine'.
Because of her excellent skills, she was also brought into Chu Heng's team as a substitute.
