"You don't have to pay attention to what he says." Cen Ji lowered his eyes and looked at Yan Ying.
"Where did those monsters come from?" Yan Ying frowned and asked softly. "Just now, Xu Zisheng seemed to have something to hide. What did he want to tell me?"

Cen Ji held Yan Ying in his arms and lay on the bed. Before Yan Ying could close her eyes in Cen Ji's arms, she heard a noise outside the door.
"The Sect Master isn't here. He must have gone down the mountain. I'm going to find Senior Brother Bai. You guys go and inform the elders!"

"You go to sleep." Cen Ji pulled Yan Ying back to the bed. "As for the rest, I'll take care of it once you wake up and have enough rest."
Yan Ying couldn't persuade Cen Ji, and she also believed that he would not do anything behind her back. If it really was a demon cultivator, Cen Ji was the Lord of the Demon Realm, so it would be more reasonable to let him handle it.
"Go to sleep." Cen Ji put his hand on Yan Ying and patted her belly gently.
"Just rest for half an hour, and remember to wake me up." Yan Ying said softly with her eyes closed.
"Okay." Cen Ji responded while looking at Yan Ying's profile.
The bright yellow sunlight reflected on the window, the room was warm and quiet, and the comfortable breeze made people sleepy. Yan Ying's breathing gradually became steady, and Cen Ji stayed by her side to accompany her to sleep.
