Chapter 6 The troublemaker is eating your rice!
Shen Zhi was afraid that Mu Chiye would cause trouble for him, so he locked the door with lingering fear.
But tonight was unexpectedly peaceful, and Shen Zhi slept soundly and without any dreams.
The next day, Mu Chiye knocked on Shen Zhi's door and said, "Have breakfast."
A ray of bright sunlight leaked in through the thick curtains, the light was golden and dancing. Shen Zhi's dark eyelashes blinked nervously and an annoying noise came to his ears. Shen Zhi buried his head in the quilt, hoping to avoid being disturbed.
Mu Chiye waited outside the door for a long time, and after making sure that the person inside would not open the door for him, he took out the spare key from under the vase at the door.
When Mu Chiye saw the round ball under the white quilt, he walked over and pulled Shen Zhi out of the warm quilt.
Shen Zhi's hairy little head twisted and turned, unable to find a place to rest. His red lips pursed in grievance, and he uttered a tired tone: "I'm sleepy."
The sound was so sticky that I couldn't open my eyes, and my body was about to fall down.
Mu Chiye stretched out his big hand and lifted up Shen Zhi's limp body, using his upper body as a backrest for him, "Wake up, you'll be late for work."
Shen Zhi tried hard to open his eyes, but his gaze was always unfocused. It fell on Mu Chiye's clean and neat jawline, and his nose moved slightly as he sniffed like a puppy.
Mu Chiye was frozen by Shen Zhi's sticky movements, and with one hand he lifted Shen Zhi, who was clinging to his neck, and walked away.
Shen Zhi's eyes gradually became clear. After he distanced himself, Mu Chiye, who was wearing an apron, came into his sight.
Perhaps the apron was too small, one could vaguely see Mu Chiye's bulging muscles, broad shoulders, and tall figure, full of masculinity.
Mu Chiye felt a little uncomfortable when Shen Zhi stared at him. He used some strength to support Shen Zhi's chin and asked, "What are you looking at?"
Shen Zhi raised his sleepy eyes, with a little moisture in his eyes, "Brother, you smell so good."
Makino thought...
Mu Chiye was so angry that he laughed, and hit Shen Zhi's head mercilessly, "I dragged my broken leg to make breakfast for you early in the morning, and you still have the nerve to despise me?"
"Hurry up and wash up, and come down to eat."
Shen Zhi waited for Mu Chiye to leave, slowly put on his clothes, brushed his teeth and washed his face. After going downstairs, he found that Mu Chiye had changed his clothes and was waiting for him to eat.
Shen Zhi sat awkwardly on the dining chair, fiddling with his chopsticks randomly. When he woke up, the memory of being spanked on the palm yesterday came to his mind.
Mu Chiye knocked Shen Zhi's chopsticks away and scolded him, "Just eat your meal, why are you messing around? You have no manners."
Two red marks immediately appeared on the back of Shen Zhi's fair hand, and tears as big as beans filled his eyes, which made Mu Chiye's heart wrenched.
"I don't like what you cooked. I don't want to eat it anymore," Shen Zhi said angrily with a crying voice, then stood up and was about to leave.
Mu Chiye directly grabbed Shen Zhi's wrist. Mu Chiye was patient if he coaxed him once or twice, but he couldn't stand Shen Zhi doing this every day.
He is not just one or two years old. He is used to being in a bad mood and crying every day.
The food on the table was prepared by Mu Chiye when he got up at five o'clock. There were fried eggs, corn and pork steamed dumplings, crab roe buns, milk, fried dough sticks, and sweet baked cakes. Mu Chiye was afraid that Shen Zhi would not like it, so he made several extra dishes. There was everything, so why was he being stubborn?
"Sit down. You have to eat whether you want to or not." Mu Chiye forcefully pressed Shen Zhi down on the dining chair. "I'm not in the mood to coax you."
Shen Zhi stared at Mu Chiye in a daze. Seeing that Mu Chiye's face was tense and his eyes were cold and didn't seem fake, his eye circles turned red instantly.
Shen Zhi sat down obediently, his fingers moving slightly, picked up the chopsticks and started eating in small bites, with his head lowered, tears falling uncontrollably.
Mu Chiye added two small buns to Shen Zhi's meal. Shen Zhi ate them silently. The greasy meat made his throat sour as he rejected the foreign food.
Shen Zhi held the chopsticks in his slender white hands. His almond-shaped eyes were clear and bright as if they had been washed with water. The corners of his eyes were bright red. He said weakly, "I really can't eat any more."
Just one steamed dumpling and two buns.
Mu Chiye felt as if he was some kind of unforgivable evildoer when he saw Shen Zhi walking on thin ice. He felt upset and the delicious food in his mouth lost its taste.
I couldn't help but wonder, this is Shen Zhi's new way of torturing me.
If he doesn't want to eat, don't eat. This will save you the trouble of getting up early in the morning to cook for him, but you won't starve to death anyway.
"If you don't eat, you'll be hungry," Mu Chiye said harshly and stared at Shen Zhi's expression.
Mu Chiye was irritated by Shen Zhiru's amnesty expression, as if the food he cooked was hard for him to swallow.
Shen Zhi left Mu Chiye behind and went to the company to clock in and report.
Shen Zhi lived near the company, about ten minutes' drive away. Shen Zhi rode his bicycle and arrived at the company on time.
I don’t know if today is Shen Zhi’s unlucky day, as he met an uninvited guest at the door.
The man was tall and thin, wearing a three-piece suit and glasses, and had a somewhat elite temperament.
However, the rift between the man's brows was too deep, giving him an inexplicably solemn look. Others saw him as steady and capable, but Shen Zhi felt that it was unlucky and wanted to quickly walk past him.
Dou Chiyu stepped forward and grabbed the handlebars of Shen Zhi's bicycle, increasing his strength to prevent him from leaving. "Shen Zhi, my family has raised you for more than ten years, and you didn't even call out when you saw me. You are such an ungrateful person."
Dou Chiyu glanced at Shen Zhijiang's bleached clothes and the G company's intern badge on his chest. It seemed that he was not doing very well.
The hour is fine, but the hour is not yet good.
Shen Zhi lived a wealthy life when he was young, while Dou Chiyu's family could barely make ends meet. Shen Zhi ate and wore fresh food, while Dou Chiyu had to see if his father had enough money left over from his salary to eat some meat every month.
Shen Zhi's parents were broad-minded and doted on him. They tried their best to give him the best education. Shen Zhi also worked hard and always ranked first in his grade in every exam.
Dou Chiyu's parents did not even finish elementary school and would beat and scold their child at any time. They often used Shen Zhi, who was two years younger than him, as an example to teach him a lesson. When Dou Chiyu was a child, he really hated this two-year-old cousin.
Unfortunately, Shen Zhi's fate was unfortunate. His parents died in a car accident, and he was adopted by his aunt, the Dou family.
Now the Dou family rents a shop and runs a small business, with an annual income of about 200,000 yuan. Dou Chiyu was admitted to a good prestigious university and joined Xia Lin, a well-known domestic luxury goods company, as a junior assistant. He is highly valued by the boss and has great room for promotion.
In contrast, Shen Zhi, who rode a bicycle, did not finish high school, and after growing up and living alone, he has not made any achievements.
"I don't know you," Shen Zhi pulled the handlebars hard, trying to shake Dou Chiyu's hand off.
Dou Chiyu felt that Shen Zhi was heartless more and more. His family provided Shen Zhi with food and clothing, and even betrayed his enemies. When Shen Zhi became an adult, he made a lot of trouble. His parents were so angry at Shen Zhi that they had chest pains. They gave Shen Zhi 2,000 yuan and asked him to take care of himself outside.
Shen Zhi was so angry that he threw the money away and said that he would never take this step again in his life.
When Dou Chiyu came home from get off work, he saw the mess at home and almost hit Shen Zhi. It was then that Dou Chiyu realized that some people are born bad.
It had been more than a year since Shen Zhi moved out. Dou Chiyu ran into Shen Zhi when he came to G's house on behalf of his boss to handle personal issues.
"I thought you were so powerful at that time and would achieve a lot after graduation. But you are just an intern and you feel embarrassed to pretend not to know me. You are so childish," Dou Chiyu let go of Shen Zhi after stabbing him.
Shen Zhi rolled his eyes speechlessly, locked the car, and ran to the company to punch in.
Dou Chiyu looked at Shen Zhi and thought that although Shen Zhi looked good, he was just unlucky and had no luck.
If you hook up with a president or a rich businessman, you don't have to ride a bicycle. For example, the new president of G company has a little boy, who was accidentally provoked by the boss's friend yesterday.
Today the boss asked him to come here to accompany his friend to apologize.
As the saying goes, people with the same destiny have different fates. Shen Zhi estimated that he had no future in this life, so why should I be angry with him.
Shen Zhi returned to his workstation in a rage, and Dou Chiyu had no idea what he was talking about.
Shen Zhi lay on his workstation, his stomach aching. He didn't know what was wrong with Mu Chiye that morning, forcing him to eat those foods that made his stomach greasy. Now he felt like vomiting when he thought about it.
"What's wrong? Xiaozhi, are you feeling hungry because you didn't eat breakfast this morning?" Caring words came from above my head.
Pei Yufeng said kindly: "I have some porridge here, would you like some?"
Shen Zhi half-closed his wet eyes and looked at him, nodding gently.
Pei Yufeng put the straw to Shen Zhi's mouth. Shen Zhi took small sips of the slightly hot porridge. The strong rice aroma diluted the lingering taste in his mouth. Shen Zhi squinted comfortably.
Shen Zhi calculated the time and asked, "Brother Pei, are the pilot sunglasses going to be released soon?"
Pei Yufeng also attached great importance to his design this time. He did not hide his curiosity in Shen Zhi's eyes. "The production line is being prepared. The official announcement will be made next week."
Shen Zhi saw the joy in Pei Yufeng's eyes. He was originally waiting for the second mission point to happen, but he suddenly felt uncomfortable.
Shen Zhi looked listless. Pei Yufeng didn't know what Shen Zhi was thinking, so he coaxed him, "Didn't you say yesterday that you wanted all my designs? I've sorted them out. Send me your address and I'll send them to you."
Hearing this, Shen Zhi looked at him with sparkling eyes, and then he smiled.
Seeing that he was happy, Pei Yufeng couldn't help but be happy too.
Here, Shen Zhi's uneasy mood was smoothed out by Pei Yufeng's gift, and there, Mu Chiye was in a bad mood after Shen Zhi left.
The secretary, who was already afraid of Mu Chiye, came to work shivering with fear.
"Mr. Mu, parenting books," the secretary placed a pile of parenting books in front of Mu Chiye.
The secretary didn't know why the new chief pastor wanted a parenting book, but she still completed the task assigned by the chief pastor efficiently.
Mu Chiye asked his secretary to go ahead and take care of it while he started flipping through the books.
Mu Chiye flipped through the pages and saw a problem that he needed to solve urgently: "How should I educate my child when he cries because he is not satisfied?"
Mu Chiye continued to read with a thirst for knowledge, "First of all, we should understand the sensitivity of children, and make them stronger through understanding, sympathy and encouragement."
Shen Zhi has no father or mother. He is psychologically fragile and sensitive. Mu Chiye deeply agrees with him.
"The second thing is to give the child a cold shoulder and wait until he calms down before communicating with him."
Today he did not soften his heart just because Shen Zhi cried, and his attitude was very firm. He did the right thing, Mu Chiye affirmed his behavior, ignoring the slight discomfort in his heart when he saw Shen Zhi's red rabbit eyes.
"Finally, you should reward your child. You should reward your child for every tiny progress he or she makes. This will bring you closer to your child and help him or her stabilize his or her mood."
Mu Chiye's eyes were fixed on the words "close the distance". He pondered for a while before closing the book. Shen Zhi was in a bad mood today and refused to eat, but he still ate in the end, which should have been a reward.
Mu Chiye rubbed his brows, feeling that educating children was a troublesome matter.
The cell phone on the desk vibrated, Mu Chiye picked it up, it was Du Shi.
"The people who are going to apologize to your child are ready. I heard that you refused to see him, so everyone came to me for begging," Du Shi teased. He and Mu Chiye have been good brothers for so many years, but he had never seen Mu Chiye use such annoying and shameful tricks.
Mu Chiye really did ignore them on purpose. If Shen Zhi was an ordinary person, not only would he not be apologized to, but he might even be treated worse. Whenever Mu Chiye thought of that possibility, he felt an indescribable discomfort.
Mu Chiye glanced at the time. It was almost lunch time. He should have been taught a lesson after waiting for so long.
"I'll let them in later." Shen Zhi had just gotten angry with him in the morning, and Mu Chiye also wanted to give Shen Zhi the cold shoulder.
Du Shi didn't say anything else, he just felt that Mu Chiye cared too much about Shen Zhi.
Shen Zhi and Mu Chiye were completely from two different classes of people. It was impossible. Mu Chiye jokingly reminded, "Shen Zhi is really noisy. It's okay to raise him as a child, but if you raise him as a daughter-in-law, you can't cure him without a strong will."
Mu Chiye had a close relationship with Du Shi and they communicated a lot, so he immediately understood what Du Shi meant.
He had no special thoughts towards Shen Zhi, it was purely a matter of repaying a favor. Even if Shen Zhi had ulterior motives in saving him, this life was indeed saved by Shen Zhi at the risk of his own life before the vehicle exploded.
He was nice to Shen Zhi because he could not possibly fulfill Shen Zhi's conditions. He would not accept a marriage that was a kidnapping. It didn't matter whether the person was good or bad, or whether he was Shen Zhi or not.
Such a forced marriage would not bring good results to either himself or Shen Zhi. If he accepted it, he would be irresponsible to himself and Shen Zhi.
It is inevitable that the guilt in one's heart will be compensated in other ways, so he is very tolerant of Shen Zhi.
"I am happy to get used to him. There will definitely be someone else to discipline him in the future, and I won't care about him then," Mu Chiye's words reassured Du Shi.
Mu Chiye will support Shen Zhi until Shen Zhi marries someone else, and how Shen Zhi lives in the future is his business.
Mu Chiye hung up the phone. It was time for lunch. He had already waited anyway, so it wouldn't be too late to apologize after Shen Zhi finished his meal.
If I go before dinner, Shen Zhi will be reminded of what happened that day and will be so upset that he can't eat.
If you eat less in the morning, you must make up for it with lunch.
Mu Chiye stood up and walked towards the company restaurant, ready to wait for Shen Zhi to eat.
