After Yu Rou finished speaking, Chen Qinglan's face darkened. He suddenly hugged Yu Rou, lowered his head and bit her lips hard.
He bit so hard that the skin almost broke.
"You say it's over, so my opinion doesn't matter at all?" His voice became gloomy and very different from his usual tone.
Yu Rou cried out in pain, and Chen Qinglan took the opportunity to roll up her tongue, almost making it difficult for her to breathe.
This not very comfortable kiss only lasted about five seconds before it ended. Yu Rou bit his tongue directly, and then kicked him when Chen Qinglan paused. Chen Qinglan dodged, but Yu Rou raised her hand and slapped him again.
When she was about to slap him again, Chen Qinglan quickly grabbed her wrist.
"Let go." Yu Rou's cold eyes fell directly on Chen Qinglan's face. "We didn't have any relationship to begin with. Isn't it normal to end it so easily? I thought you knew everything."
"I don't know." Chen Qinglan increased his strength.
At this time, footsteps were heard. Yu Rou turned her head and repeated with a cold face, asking Chen Qinglan to let go, but Chen Qinglan still did not move, and the two of them remained in a stalemate.
The next second, two girls came in arm in arm. They were originally talking and laughing, but when they saw Yu Rou and Chen Qinglan, they paused and all showed surprised expressions.
Their gazes lingered on them for a long time, until they felt Chen Qinglan's displeased look, then they awkwardly looked away, but they still glanced in their direction.
As they slowly walked into the women's bathroom next door, Yu Rou struggled impatiently, trying to shake off Chen Qinglan's hand.
Chen Qinglan thought about it and let go.
As soon as he let go, Yu Rou said, "That's it," then turned and left.
Chen Qinglan looked at her back and sneered, "Impossible."
He stood there for a while, and only left after his expression gradually calmed down.
After returning to the cinema, Chen Qinglan found that Yu Rou was not there. She sat down and asked Wu Jia, only to find out that Yu Rou had not come back at all.
"Not back?" Chen Qinglan frowned and spoke in surprise.
"Didn't you see her just now?" Wu Yi asked doubtfully.
The lighting in the theater was dim, so Wu Yi couldn't see the annoyed look on Chen Qinglan's face when she heard his voice.
"I see." Chen Qinglan said lightly and nothing else.
Wu Yi raised his eyebrows, looked at him without saying anything, stood up and walked out. When he reached the corner, he took out his cell phone and called Yu Rou.
"What's wrong?" Wu Jia asked, seeing Chen Qinglan's gloomy face.
Chen Qinglan said perfunctorily: "Nothing."
Wu Jia: "Didn't you see where Sister Yu went just now?"
"No." Chen Qinglan stood up and wanted to go out to look for it, but Wu Yi came back just in time.
Wu Jia asked, "Have you seen Sister Yu?"
Wu Yi: "No, I called her and she said she felt a little unwell so she went back."
Wu Jia: "Is that so? Why are you suddenly feeling unwell? You were fine just now."
Wu Yi shook her head and said, "She said she just had a headache and went back to rest, telling us not to worry."
Wu Jia: "But her things are still here."
Wu Yi looked down and saw Yu Rou's bag on the seat next to him. He thought for a moment and said, "Then I'll wait a moment..."
Before he could finish, Chen Qinglan interrupted him, "I'll give it to my sister. I'll just happen to be on my way there later."
Chen Qinglan reached out and took Yu Rou's bag without even looking at Wu Yi, not giving him a chance to speak.
Wu Yi's eyes flashed slightly. After thinking for a while, he still didn't say anything. He lowered his head and sent a message to Yu Rou, telling her that Chen Qinglan would deliver the bag to her later.
The movie was still half an hour away from ending, so Chen Qinglan quietly set the alarm. A few minutes later, his cell phone rang. He pretended to answer the call, but when he came back he said he had something urgent to do and had to leave first. He took Yu Rou's bag and left in a hurry.
Originally there were four people watching the movie, but now only Wu Jia and Wu Yi are left.
Although Wu Jia was disappointed, she seemed to have gotten used to being treated this way by Chen Qinglan. However, Wu Yi was not happy with Wu Jia's disappointment and asked her, "Are you dating this boy?"
Wu Jia shook her head, "Not yet."
Wu Yi said thoughtfully: "I don't think he seems to be serious. Let's observe him for a while."
Wu Yi thought that it was Chen Qinglan who took the initiative to pursue Wu Jia, and wanted her to think about it more.
Wu Jia realized that Wu Yi had misunderstood. She wanted to explain but was too embarrassed to do so. She responded vaguely and looked at the big screen, pretending to concentrate on watching the movie.
As soon as Chen Qinglan left the cinema, he called Yu Rou, but no one answered.
Yu Rou didn't hang up on him, but she just didn't answer the call.
Chen Qinglan didn't know where Yu Rou would go, but he thought that Yu Rou would always go home, so he took a taxi directly to Yu Rou's residence.
On the way, Chen Qinglan kept sending messages to Yu Rou, but not only did Yu Rou not reply, the messages were not even shown as read in the dialog box.
He became more and more irritable, staring at his phone from time to time, and his expression became ugly.
When getting off the bus, he almost forgot to take Yu Rou's bag. Fortunately, the driver reminded him not to forget his things, so he turned around and picked up the bag on the seat next to him. However, he didn't hold it properly and the things in the bag fell out.
It turned out that the zipper of the bag was only half-closed and not completely closed.
What fell out was a lipstick and a few receipts. When he picked it up and put it back, he saw some messy things inside. He noticed a white medicine bottle.
He was stunned for a moment and took out the medicine bottle.
