Chen Min met colleagues who knew him several times when he walked around the hospital with Yu Rou. When several colleagues saw him leading a pregnant beauty with a gentle expression, they thought they had seen the wrong person at first sight.
They had never seen Shen Min so friendly to anyone, and they rarely even saw him smile. Everyone said behind his back that he had a paralyzed face.
Shen Min is a well-known figure in the hospital. The news that he brought a beautiful pregnant woman to the obstetrics department for a prenatal check-up quickly spread among doctors and nurses. Some people guessed that she was Shen Min's sister, while others guessed that she was his girlfriend.
But more people believe the former.
After hearing the rumors, two female interns came to the obstetrics department and soon saw Shen Min in the corridor.
"Doctor Shen, aren't you taking a break today?" asked one of the doctors with short hair.
"I came here for something." Shen Min said lightly, without lingering his gaze on the female doctor.
The short-haired female doctor was a little embarrassed, but her eyes were still full of admiration when she looked at Shen Min. Another female doctor said, "This is the obstetrics department. Are you waiting for someone, Dr. Shen?"
Before Shen Min could say anything, Yu Rou came out of the examination room.
Yu Rou remained calm when she saw two more female doctors beside Shen Min. She slowly walked over and said to Shen Min, "I'm done with the examination."
"Well, let's go." Shen Min nodded.
The two were about to leave when the short-haired female doctor asked loudly from behind them: "Doctor Shen, is this your girlfriend?"
Shen Min stopped and didn't look back. Instead, he looked down at Yu Rou and said, "What should I do? They said what I wanted to ask first?"
Yu Rou was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, "Is this a confession, Doctor Shen?"
Shen Min: "What do you think?"
Yu Rou raised her eyebrows: "It seems that there is no sincerity."
Shen Min also laughed.
The two looked at each other, feeling an indescribable harmony.
Seeing this scene, the short-haired female doctor turned pale and lowered her eyes in pain. The female doctor who accompanied her pulled her away.
Yu Rou looked back, then smiled and said, "Doctor Shen seems to be very popular in the hospital. I can't count the number of people who saw you along the way."
Shen Min said, "I guess most of them are wondering how I can be with a beauty like you, and guessing about the relationship between us."
Yu Rou raised her eyebrows and saw out of the corner of her eye that someone was looking at them from the corner behind her right.
When she turned around, she only saw a corner of clothes.
Yu Rou's expression changed, and suspicion flashed in her eyes.
"What's wrong?" Shen Min quickly noticed the change in her expression.
"It's nothing. Let's go first and talk about it later." Yu Rou withdrew her gaze and no longer looked over there.
Shen Min nodded and followed her downstairs.
When going downstairs, Yu Rou glanced behind her and saw that no one had caught up yet. She whispered to Shen Min, "Someone is following us."
"Did you see who it was?" Shen Min asked.
"I didn't see it clearly, but I can guess who it is."
Shen Min frowned and asked, "Is it okay?"
Yu Rou hummed, then said, "How about we get closer?"
Shen Min asked, "What's wrong?"
"It seems like the other party is taking pictures secretly. We are so far away that we can't capture anything. How about we take a closer picture of her? Please help me cooperate with her?" Yu Rou blinked at him with a smile in her eyes, a little playful.
Shen Min looked at her steadily, his eyes deep and fiery, and without saying a word he put his arm around her shoulders.
"Is this okay?" Shen Min leaned close to her and whispered.
"Well, that should be fine." Yu Rou nodded.
"Should?" Shen Min's eyes flashed with interest, and he hugged her waist more ambiguously, and said softly: "That's it, are you satisfied?"
"Well, it's okay." Yu Rou glanced at him with a charming smile and seductive eyes.
The person behind them took countless photos until the two of them walked out of the hospital and then he put down his phone.

At nine o'clock in the evening, Yu Rou was lying on the chaise longue watching TV. She was a little drowsy and yawned several times.
Yu Rou looked at the time, then threw off the blanket and prepared to go back to her room to sleep.
Gan Lie just opened the door and came in. When he saw Yu Rou, he asked in confusion, "Haven't you rested yet?"
"Let's go now." Yu Rou stood up. She was wearing a nightgown today, with her two slender white legs exposed. She was wearing slippers, and her small toes could be seen, as cute and delicate as if they were carved from white jade.
"Why are you wearing so little?" Gan Lie frowned, walked quickly forward, picked up the blanket on the sofa and wrapped her in it.
"It's not cold, the air conditioner is on." Yu Rou shook her head and pushed him away.
Gan Lie's expression darkened when he saw her rejection.
Yu Rou was about to open the bedroom door when she suddenly cried out "Ouch" and covered her stomach.
"What's wrong?" Gan Lie ran over nervously and held her hand without thinking.
"My stomach..." Yu Rou put her hand on her stomach, looking surprised.
Gan Lie's heart tightened. "Does your stomach hurt?"
Yu Rou shook her head, "No."
Gan Lie was about to be frightened by her, but then he heard her say, "My belly is moving, the baby is moving."
Yu Rou felt like there was something like a small fish swimming in her stomach, and it also felt like there was a pulse beating on her belly, which was intermittent and very light, but Yu Rou was sure that this was not an illusion.
Gan Lie squatted down in surprise, looked at her belly and said, "Really?"
"Yeah." Yu Rou nodded, her tone affirmative, "I feel it."
Gan Lie said nervously, "Can I touch it?"
Yu Rou was stunned for a moment, then said hesitantly, "You can touch it."
