Jiang Chi changed the subject, frowned, and asked, "Do you know her?"
Gu Wei was afraid that telling the truth would be bad for Yu Rou, after all, she was still someone else's wife, so he said vaguely, "I have seen her."
Jiang Chi said in a tone that was almost disgusted: "She is the woman Dad married later."
The color drained from Gu Wei's face instantly. His lips turned pale and trembled slightly. He widened his eyes and said in disbelief, "Tell me again, who is she?"
Jiang Chi looked at him suspiciously, "What's wrong with you?"
The shock in Gu Wei's heart was difficult to describe in words. He couldn't control his emotions, but a voice in his head told him that he couldn't lose control, otherwise he and Yu Rou would be condemned by thousands of people.
His breathing became heavy, and he lowered his head, not wanting Jiang Chi to see his expression. He said, "I'm fine."
After saying these two words, Gu Wei's heart felt like a big piece had been bitten off by a wild beast. It was empty, bleeding, and making a hissing sound.
He wanted to rush over and grab Yu Rou, asking her if what Jiang Chi said was true.
But he couldn't... He could only pretend that he was not familiar with her. Gu Wei's mind was in a mess, wondering how to address her later.
Although Gu Wei didn't admit it, Jiang Chi's intuition told him that there seemed to be something between Gu Wei and Yu Rou.
"You didn't see her the last time you came to the hospital. How did you two get to know each other?" Jiang Chi asked.
Gu Wei was just unable to think of what to say when Yu Rou saw him.
Their eyes crossed, and Yu Rou seemed surprised as well.
There was pain and doubt in Gu Wei's eyes, which frightened Yu Rou.
She walked over quickly and said to Jiang Chi, "Jiang Chi, your girlfriend is here."
Jiang Chi looked back and saw Lin Lianqiao standing timidly at the door looking around.
"Do you want to go over there? She seems afraid to come in." Yu Rou said in a low voice, with a hint of sarcasm in her tone, which made Jiang Chi feel uncomfortable.
His eyes moved between Gu Wei and her, and after hesitating for a few seconds, he said, "Have you met before?"
Yu Rou said coldly: "Well, do I need to report to you?"
Her words blocked Jiang Chi's words. Jiang Chi felt suffocated and snorted coldly before turning and leaving.
As soon as Jiang Chi left, Yu Rou looked at Gu Wei and whispered, "Why are you here?"
"Is your husband Jiang Cheng?" Gu Wei's voice was completely different from usual, giving her a cold feeling.
"Well, he left two days ago."
Gu Wei stared into her eyes with a bitter and sarcastic expression, "So... do you know that Jiang Cheng is my biological father?"
Yu Rou frowned, bit her lip and said, "I know."
Gu Wei's smile was uglier than crying, his rationality almost collapsed, "You know...Haha, you know, you actually said you know."
Yu Rou had no choice but to say, "I just found out about this too."
Saying I don’t know would be too fake and would be easily exposed, so I can only say something that is half true and half false.
Gu Wei couldn't listen to anything else Yu Rou said at this moment. He felt like a fool being played around by Yu Rou. There was no one more stupid than him in the world. He actually fell in love with his father's woman and even went to bed with her.
His heart was torn as if by a knife, and he could not utter a word. His heart was corroded bit by bit by the pain, and it seemed as if even the blood had been drained away.
Yu Rou looked around and pulled Gu Wei to the inner compartment.
Jiang Chi happened to see this scene. He paused and became more certain that his intuition was correct.

"Gu Wei, listen to me." Yu Rou walked up to him, reached out and took his hand and put it on her face, looking at him sincerely.
Gu Wei turned his head away and didn't want to look at her. He couldn't accept this fact and even hated himself a little.
Yu Rou had no choice but to hug him, "Are you still willing to believe me?"
After Gu Wei was hugged by her, his body still reacted. He suddenly felt a sense of self-loathing. Just as he was about to push her away, footsteps were heard outside the door. The compartment was locked by Yu Rou, and the person outside could not open it, but the door lock made a noise.
The person outside couldn't open the door and started knocking.
"Who?" Yu Rou asked in a low voice.
"Open the door." It was Jiang Chi.
"Is there something wrong?" Yu Rou looked at Gu Wei and let go of the hand that was holding him.
Gu Wei's eyes were cold and he looked away, not knowing what he was thinking.
"I have something to ask you. Open the door. Gu Wei is in there too, right?" Jiang Chi pointed it out directly, causing Yu Rou to frown.
Yu Rou raised her eyes and looked at Gu Wei, "Sorry, I'll talk to you later, okay?"
Gu Wei didn't say anything, but reached out to open the door, walked out under Jiang Chi's suspicious gaze, and closed the door for them.
When Yu Rou saw him like this, she felt something was wrong.
But she had to face Jiang Chi now, so she had to talk about it later.
Jiang Chi asked directly: "What is your relationship with him?"
"I don't understand what you are talking about." Yu Rou leaned against the wall with a cold expression.
"Don't play dumb. The way Gu Wei looks at you, I know you two are more than just acquaintances." Jiang Chi's tone was gloomy, and it was obvious that he was very unhappy.
"What exactly do you want to say?" Yu Rou asked instead of responding.
"You've done it with him, right?" Jiang Chi suddenly asked.
"Jiang Chi!" Yu Rou glared at him angrily, "What nonsense are you talking about?"
"No? You went out every day in the past few days. Were you with him?" Jiang Chi was actually just guessing randomly, but Yu Rou's reaction made him a little unsure whether his guess was correct.
"Are you bored? My affairs have nothing to do with you. You don't need to worry about them."
