Gu Wei: "You lied to me."
Yu Rou: "Let go first. I didn't lie to you. My phone is missing. I searched for it for a long time but couldn't find it, so I came back. Did you call me?"
Gu Wei frowned, "How did the phone get lost?"
"I might have left it somewhere when I bought it and forgot to take it. I went back to look for it but couldn't find it. I guess someone took it." Yu Rou rubbed her eyes. "I'm so tired. Can we go inside first?"
Gu Wei nodded. Although he was still sad, he felt distressed when he saw Yu Rou's tired look.
Yu Rou took his hand and said, "Have you been waiting for a long time? Your fingers are cold."
Gu Wei lowered his head. "Well, who told you not to come back earlier?"
Hearing his tone, Yu Rou wanted to laugh. "Are you angry?"
Gu Wei said uncomfortably, "No, I'm not angry."
"Really?" Yu Rou said in disbelief.
Gu Wei looked away awkwardly.
"You haven't told me why you came here so suddenly?"
Gu Wei: "I... I called you but you hung up, and then you didn't answer. When I called you again, your phone was turned off." Gu Wei lowered his eyes, "I was worried about you, so I came here."
"I...I'm afraid you'll be with someone else."
"Who do you think I'm with?" Yu Rou smiled indifferently and took out the key to open the door.
Gu Wei didn't say anything and his eyes were dim, but seeing her calm expression, the doubts in his heart were reduced a lot.
The door opened. Yu Rou walked in first and pulled Gu Wei in. After closing the door, Yu Rou pinched Gu Wei's palm.
Gu Wei looked up at her, and seeing her looking at him with a half-smile, he pursed his lips and let go of her hand, "Since you are okay, I will go back."
Yu Rou grabbed his clothes and said, "Wait."
Gu Weiyi turned to her and said hopefully, "What's wrong?"
"Are you really going back? Is there anything else you haven't finished?"
Gu Wei had indeed left behind a lot of things and rushed over. He said in an awkward tone, "Didn't you not want me to come? I have something else to do when I get back."
Yu Rou suppressed her laughter and sighed with pretended regret, "Okay then, I'll take you downstairs."
Gu Wei bit his lip and said angrily, "No need."
After he finished speaking, he glanced at Yu Rou. Seeing that she didn't react, his expression became even more lost, and a hint of gloom flashed in his eyes.
Yu Rou said, "Really? Then I'll walk you to the elevator door."
Gu Wei pursed his lips into a straight line. He walked out of the room without saying a word.
Yu Rou followed behind him. His steps were heavy and he walked very slowly, but the door was only a few steps away from the elevator, so even if he walked slowly, it would take less than a minute to get there.
Yu Rou looked at him and reached out to help him press the elevator button, wanting to see how long he could pretend.
Unexpectedly, as soon as the elevator arrived, Gu Wei couldn't hold back any longer and hugged her, "Why are you doing this to me? Don't you miss me at all? You want me to leave so badly."
Yu Rou didn't hide her smile and said softly, "How did I treat you? It was you who insisted on leaving."
"Then why didn't you keep me? You just don't like me." Gu Wei hugged her tightly, his eyes full of accusations. "I've been waiting for you at the door for hours, my feet are numb. You must be with someone else and don't miss me at all."
"Why do you sound so aggrieved?" Yu Rou raised her hands and cupped his face. "Alright, I was just joking with you. Why are you so stupid?"
Gu Wei buried his head in her neck and bit it hard a few times. He suddenly frowned and asked, "Have you been drinking?"
Yu Rou was stunned. He could even smell it. It really was a dog’s nose.
If she said no at this time, Gu Wei would definitely be suspicious, so Yu Rou had no choice but to nod and said, "I drank a little."
"Why are you drinking? Are you hiding something from me?"
Yu Rou showed an expression that was difficult to speak.
Gu Wei: "What's wrong?"
Yu Rou said, "It was because you said you couldn't come that I missed you. I was feeling down being alone so I went for a few drinks. I was groggy afterward and that's why I lost my phone."
Gu Wei's cheeks were slightly red, and joy flashed in his eyes, "Really?"
Yu Rou nodded: "Yeah."
Gu Wei blinked his eyes, his innocent look was very cute. He looked at her gently, "Is it really because you missed me? But you just let me go."
"I missed you. You were busy all day and didn't look for me." Yu Rou put her chin on his shoulder and kissed his neck with her lips. Her warm breath made Gu Wei tense all over.
He hurriedly explained: "I was too busy today. I called you as soon as I had time. I didn't mean to ignore you."
Gu Wei was afraid that Yu Rou would be angry, so he spoke cautiously.
There was a look of triumph in Yu Rou's eyes, but Gu Wei couldn't see it.
Yu Rou: "Well, you've been waiting for me for so long, so let's not be angry."
"Yeah." Gu Wei's heart was filled with joy, almost overflowing with it. He picked up Princess Yu Rou and said, "You're tired. I'll hold you."
The two of them entered the house again. Gu Wei put Yu Rou on the sofa. Suddenly, he thought of something and said embarrassedly, "Next time you miss me, you can call me. No matter how busy I am, I will definitely answer your call. Please don't go drinking, okay?"
"I didn't want to disturb you." Yu Rou squinted her eyes comfortably, her voice lazy, "Besides, you said you wouldn't come tonight, so I went out for a drink. Who knew you would come over so suddenly?"
Gu Wei's Adam's apple moved slightly, and his fingers involuntarily placed on Yu Rou's lips.
Yu Rou raised her eyelids and looked at him, with a smile on her lips. She opened her mouth and bit his finger.
