Yu Rou looked up and saw two tall girls in gorgeous clothes and wearing veil hats walking in hand in hand.
Before Yu Rou could react, the girl in the crimson dress on her left exclaimed in surprise, "Madam Yu!"
This is the voice of Princess Hening.
Why is the princess here?
Before Yu Rou could think about it, the girl in the crimson dress had already run over. The girl in the lilac dress beside her also said softly, "Madam Yu, what a coincidence."
This is Princess Jingning, it is indeed them.
"Yes, what a coincidence." Yu Rou was about to kneel down to salute, but was stopped by Princess Hening.
"No need to be so polite outside." Princess Jingning explained with a smile.
Yu Rou knew they were reluctant to make it public, so she nodded and said, "What are you two...?"
"We're going out for some fun. Father has agreed to this." Princess Hening whispered, with a hint of pride and joy in her voice.
The two princesses were accompanied by several palace maids dressed as servants and many guards hidden in the crowd. They were not familiar with the city of Bianjing, so they walked to the most prosperous area. Seeing that this shop was doing good business, they came in to take a look. Unexpectedly, they saw many items they liked, so they entered the inner room and met Yu Rou and others.
After finally meeting someone she knew and liked, Princess Hening would not let her go just like that. She insisted that she accompany her and Princess Jingning around.
But Yu Rou had originally planned to go shopping first and then attend the tea party when the time was right. Now that she had met the princess, what should she do?
She hesitated for a moment, but the princess suddenly said, "It's almost time. We're planning to go to the teahouse to watch the tea party hosted by Prince Guangcheng. Madam Yu, would you like to come with us? I have two jade cards for admission. I can take you with me."
Yu Rou looked at Yu Ting and Yu Si behind her and said, "But my sister can't go with you."
She had originally planned to bring only Yu Ting in and let Yu Si go back. But now the princess had two jade tokens, which could bring four people, so she didn't want to take out her own jade token.
Yu Si usually pretends to be the best and won't show her true colors unless provoked. After all, she is a little girl, and after a few times, she will definitely not be able to hide her thoughts.
"You can take one with you." Princess He Ning didn't know what Yu Rou was thinking. She spoke without thinking, which was exactly what Yu Rou expected.
"Big sister, I want to go." Yu Ting was simple-minded. She tugged at Yu Rou's sleeve and looked at her eagerly. "I want to go with you."
Princess Hening said, "If you want to go, go ahead."
Yu Ting looked at Yu Si and said, "Sister Si, you should go back first and tell everyone at home that my sister and I are going to the tea party together."
Yu Si was still as submissive as ever, with a hint of gloom in her lowered eyes that no one noticed. She nodded and said with a smile: "Well, then I'll go back first. Have fun, sisters."
Yu Ting said happily: "Well, I'll tell you what happened when I come back."
After Yu Si left, they asked the shopkeeper where the Prince of Guangcheng would hold his tea party.
The shopkeeper said, "Turn right after you go out the door, and walk less than a hundred steps. You will find the tallest and most imposing one."
Even though it was only a few steps away, they still put on their veils and got on the carriage to go to the teahouse.
Yu Rou and Yu Ting shared one carriage, and the two princesses shared another.
After getting in the car, Yu Rou told Yu Ting to just watch the fun and not to talk too much.
The two princesses took out a small jade bottle, poured out two pills from it, and drank them with tea. Then when they spoke again, their voices had changed. Their originally soft voices were obviously higher and clearer. In short, they no longer sounded like their own voices.
It didn't take long before we arrived at the teahouse.
The two princesses first explained to Yu Rou and Yu Ting the reason for the change in voice, and then walked towards the teahouse together.
Before they could even reach the steps of the teahouse, they were stopped by two young men dressed identically as servants guarding the door. Several large men were standing nearby, probably because they were afraid someone might cause trouble.
The princess took out the jade token and the four people were allowed to pass, but the palace maids and servants were placed in the restaurant next door to wait.
Entering the teahouse, the first thing I saw was the spacious tea room, decorated in a very simple and elegant style. The moment I entered, I felt a sense of elegance and refinement. Sitting in the room was a beautiful woman, quite the celebrity. Although her appearance was gorgeous, it was not vulgar, and instead gave people an impression of nobleness and unyieldingness. Even when someone came in, she never glanced at them.
Her slender hands played the guqin, which was melodious, soothing and gentle, like the sound of nature coming from the clouds, giving a feeling of floating celestial music.
There was a light, relaxing fragrance in the air.
There are many famous calligraphy and paintings hanging on the west wall facing the window. The most eye-catching one is a calligraphy and painting with a pagoda poem about tea.
There were already quite a few people in the teahouse. Yu Rou also saw He Yulian and Yan Wanyun. They were holding hands and looked very close, and it seemed that they came together.
"Sister Rou, I saw Sister Jiang." Yu Ting suddenly raised her voice.
Yu Rou followed her gaze and saw Jiang Yuyan and Mrs. Gu together.
They also heard Yu Ting's voice and looked over.
Since Yu Rou and the others were still wearing veils, Jiang Yuyan hesitated and asked, "Is it... Sister Yu Ting?"
Yu Ting lifted the veil and said with a smile, "It's me, it's me."
Yu Rou noticed that many eyes were staring at her, so she simply lifted her veil and greeted her with a big smile.
Yu Rou turned around and looked at the two princesses with an apologetic look, only to see them both shaking their heads at her. They didn't want to reveal their identities in a crowded place to avoid trouble.
