Chapter 79: Morbid Campus: Reconciliation 9

Surprise flashed in Yu Rou's eyes. What was going on?

What happened? Why would it decrease? What did Yu Jiayang say to him?

This had never happened before, so Yu Rou was a little confused when she heard the prompt.

Yu Rou fell into deep thought, but soon calmed down.

Qi Yu didn't come back until the get out of class was over. Yu Rou thought about it and went out to call Yu Jiayang.

But as soon as she took out her cell phone, Yu Jiayang called her. She probably heard the bell for the end of get out of class.

Yu Rou answered the phone and asked, "Dad, where are you?"

"I'm at the school gate." Yu Jiayang's tone sounded heavy.

Yu Rou: "Have you told Qi Yu?"

Yu Jiayang: "Well, I told him everything."

Yu Rou: "How did he react?"

Yu Jiayang sighed and was silent for a moment. "It's not good. I think something's wrong with him, so I called you to tell you to be careful. How about you take a day off today and go home? I'll talk to the teacher for you."

Yu Rou frowned, "What's wrong?"

Yu Jiayang: "After I told him that you two were brother and sister, his expression was very strange. I can't describe the feeling he gave me. How about I wait for you here and you come home with me?"

Yu Rou refused without a second thought, "Dad, I'll be fine. This is school. He won't do anything to me. Besides, I trust him."

Yu Jiayang had no choice but to say, "Okay, I hope I'm overthinking it. Alas, I am sorry for him."

"Did you say anything about him moving into our house?"

"I said it." When Yu Jiayang thought about Qi Yu's expression when he said this, he felt like someone was strangling his throat. Qi Yu was obviously still a child, but he made him feel real nervousness and pressure.

From his tone and the lack of further words, Yu Rou guessed that Qi Yu had not agreed.

"Dad, then you go back first. I'll call you if there's anything."

"Okay, this matter is probably too sudden for Qi Yu. He may not be able to accept it for the time being. I will find a chance to talk to him again when the time comes. You don't have to talk to him anymore."

Yu Jiayang’s attitude was too nervous. What happened to Qi just now?

Yu Rou hung up the phone and walked towards the classroom.

Qi Yu still didn't come back.

When the bell rang, Yu Rou couldn't sit still anymore. She stood up and planned to go out to look for Qi Yu before the teacher came, but Qi Yu suddenly appeared at the door.

While Yu Rou breathed a sigh of relief, her heart also lifted. Qi Yu's expression was indeed not right. His eyes were dull and lifeless. He didn't even look at Yu Rou. He walked towards his seat stiffly with unfocused eyes. It was unknown what he was thinking.

The Chinese teacher walked into the classroom and called for class to start. When the class monitor asked him to stand up, he was very slow. Only when the teacher said hello to the students did he finally stand up.

The next two classes were Chinese classes. The Chinese teacher assigned the students to write essays. The essay topics were written on the blackboard. Then the Chinese class representative distributed the essay books and the Chinese teacher went out. He came back to collect the essays during the second class. The class time was 45 minutes plus the break time, so he gave them 55 minutes to write an 800-word essay.

Yu Rou didn't even bother to look at the topic, she wasn't going to write anyway.

As soon as the teacher left, the other students started discussing in a low voice, but there was nothing much to discuss about the composition and time was a bit tight, so after a few casual words, everyone lowered their heads and started writing.

Qi Yu remained motionless. Even though their group's composition books had been placed on his desk, he refused to distribute them. The students at the back looked forward, urging them to hurry up, "Where are the composition books? Why aren't they being passed down?"

Yu Rou didn't say anything.

A boy in the back row waited for a long time but still didn't see her, so he stood up and walked over to look for her.

They looked forward one by one, and saw the notebook on Qi Yu's desk, and said dissatisfiedly: "Why don't you hand it out? We don't have to write the rest."

Qi Yu pretended not to hear him and ignored him. This male classmate may have always disliked Qi Yu. He muttered a few words angrily, took his own composition book from his desk and left, without taking anyone else's.

He had just taken two steps when Qi Yu stood up suddenly. He stood up so hard that he bumped into the desk, and the stool shook and fell to the ground, making quite a noise.

He walked out of the classroom without saying a word, his face looking frighteningly ugly.

Yang Mengqi poked Yang Lei and asked in a low voice, "What's wrong with him?"

"I don't know. Something was wrong when I came back just now. I was scared to death sitting next to him." Yang Lei said fearfully.

Yu Rou thought about it, stood up and chased after him.

Zhao Yuesheng called out, "Yu Rou, where are you going?"

"Something happened." Yu Rou ran away without looking back.

The whole class was in an uproar. What were these two people doing?

The disciplinary committee member shouted, "Stop arguing and write your composition. It's due after class."

"Those two people have left and no one cares!" someone said.

"Go tell the teacher." Someone else started to make a fuss.

Zhao Yuesheng yelled, "Who dares to tell the teacher? You can't even go to the bathroom."

Zhao Yuesheng is the boss of the school. After he shouted this, the classroom immediately became quiet. It was much more effective than the discipline committee member.

After Yu Rou ran out, she didn't see Qi Yu anymore. She hesitated for a while and went to the storage room on the first floor where Qi Yu was smoking last time.

Yu Rou pushed the door, but it was locked.

She knocked gently and put her ear to the door to listen, but heard no sound.

Yu Rou frowned and said through the door: "Qi Yu, open the door, I know you are in there."

Still no sound.

Despite this, Yu Rou's intuition told her that Qi Yu was here.

She ran out of the teaching building, went around to the back of the building, opened the window, climbed onto the windowsill, lifted the thick curtains, and climbed in through the window.
