The second day.
An Bing's father, An Lin, is an old shrew who has been immersed in the business world for many years. However, no matter how old and shrewd he is, he is no match for his stupid son.
An Lin scolded An Bing severely last night, but since this was his only son in his old age, he couldn't bear to let him get beaten again.
"Boss Liu, I've long heard of your name." An Lin arrived at Huanxi Restaurant as promised and recognized Liu Qinghuan as soon as he entered.
This is what An Lin heard from his son: a yellow-haired girl, who looked quite cute, but who would have thought that she was a Buddha who could not be messed with.
As soon as Liu Qinghuan saw An Lin, he knew his identity. He stood up and greeted him with a smile, "Boss An, why are you being so polite? Please take a seat. Xiaoqin, bring some refreshments."
The two exchanged pleasantries, and as Xiaoqin brought the cappuccino over, An Lin seemed to be examining the drink, a drink he had never seen before, as he tentatively asked, "I heard from my son that you have business to look after. I'm truly honored. I wonder how I can help, Boss Liu?"
An Lin thought about it all night and figured that he should bring some Suzhou specialty ingredients. If he agreed, it would only mean a slight loss in price, so it wouldn't be too difficult.
"How long has Mr. An been doing this business?" Liu Qinghuan held the cup in his hand and looked at An Lin with a smile.
If his son had not fallen into her hands twice, An Lin would have really been fooled by Liu Qinghuan's well-behaved appearance.
"Not long, maybe five or six years." An Lin used to resell groceries on a small scale in Suzhou. Although he had accumulated a lot of silver, it was only the tip of the iceberg compared to the goods he had sold in the past few years.
“It must be hard to always be traveling.”
An Lin saw that Liu Qinghuan and he seemed to be practicing Tai Chi, and he was as steady as an old dog. "In order to support the family, I have to move more. How can I say it's hard work?"
Liu Qinghuan looked at An Lin, his smile never fading. "Boss An may be young and strong now, but his body can't keep working continuously. In two years, I'm afraid he won't be able to move anymore."
"Boss Liu is right. I've already made a plan. When I can't afford it anymore, I'll use my family fortune to buy out some shop owners, so that I can leave some inheritance for my disappointing son." An Lin smiled, but secretly suspected in his heart that Liu Qinghuan wanted to steal his business and prevent him from selling goods in Yuncheng.
"Boss An is indeed far-sighted. But what kind of shop do you want to open in the future?" Liu Qinghuan finally brought An Lin to the ditch, tasted the cappuccino with satisfaction, and left a lip grease mark on the rim of the cup.
"I mostly deal in silk and satin. I'd like to run a shop like this in the future. All my connections are there, and it'll be easier to get things done since we're in the same circle." An Lin meant that he only wanted the fabric business, and he could do whatever else you wanted.
Liu Qinghuan didn't care about that. "Silk is indeed good, and Boss An is quite knowledgeable now. However, I have an even better business idea. I wonder if Boss An would like to hear about it?"
When An Lin heard this, he no longer knew Liu Qinghuan's true intention.
He has already made this concession, does he really want to kill everyone?
An Lin's expression had become somewhat stiff. "Boss Liu, please speak."
"There must be quite a few people in Suzhou doing silk business. Although silk sells very well in the north, the sales here are only around that low." Liu Qinghuan put down his teacup and seemed to become serious. An Lin also listened nervously. "Look at my little pastry shop. Guess how much money it makes in a month?"
