TRAIN STATION.
The train slowly pulled into the station.
The platform was crowded with people, many of them holding one in their hands and carrying one on their backs.
As soon as the train stopped and the doors opened, people rushed in.
Queuing? There was no way they were queuing. Everyone had to squeeze onto the bus based on their ability.
Pei Yan was carrying a large luggage package and wanted to help Xu Zhiyi, but Xu Zhiyi refused.
It's not easy to move around with too much luggage.
"Shengzi, follow your sister closely, don't get separated."
"Well, I certainly won't!"
The tall Pei Yan led the way in front, and Xu Zhiyi followed closely behind Pei Yan, not letting anyone get between them.
Mr. Xu is a smart guy. He takes advantage of every opportunity and always follows Xu Zhiyi.
By the time they found their seats, they were sweating profusely in the middle of winter.
"Huh, there are so many people this time. I don't know who is behind me, but he pulled me! He almost ripped my clothes."
Xu Sheng sat down on the lower bunk and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that his clothes were not torn.
This was made for him by Grandma Dong. It was the first time he had worn such beautiful clothes.
If it's really torn, it won't look good when sewn together.
Pei Yan put the luggage of three people under the bed. He bought two lower bunks and one middle bunk so that he could be more alert when sleeping at night.
"Second sister, please sleep on the lower bunk. It's inconvenient to get up and down on the middle bunk.
In order to let Xu Zhiyi sleep more comfortably, Mr. Xu chose the middle bunk.
"No, I think the middle bunk is fine. You can sleep on the lower bunk."
Xu Zhiyi actually doesn't like the lower bunk. The middle bunk is better because of the constant coming and going of people. It is convenient to get on and off, and even if someone passes by, they can't see clearly when they get on.
Pei Yan thought so too.
"Oh well."
Xu Zhiyi slept above Pei Yan, and Xu Sheng slept on the lower bunk opposite.
As soon as I got on the train, people were coming and going, all trying to get their seats.
Fortunately, the sleeper car was quite crowded and not as noisy as the hard seat car.
"There's no old lady with a child asking to give up her seat this time." Xu Sheng looked at the seats on their side.
An old man and a young man came. The old man was dressed like an old scholar. Behind him came a woman. The woman was dressed simply. Her clothes were washed white, but clean and tidy.
"Big sister, I'm sleeping in the upper position. Will I fall down when I sleep at night?"
Jiang Qiuhe was cheerful and generous, with bright eyes, and didn't care at all that it was her first time to ride in this kind of sleeper.
"No, sister, there is a railing above, stopping you." Xu Sheng was bored, and when he saw someone talking to his second sister, he immediately took over.
Jiang Qiuju glanced at him and said, "Young man, you're right. This is my first time riding on a train. If my family hadn't managed to get me a berth, I would have had to squeeze into the next berth. It's just too expensive."
"The sleeper berth is so comfortable. You can lie down and sleep, and when you wake up you will have arrived. It is worth it even if it is expensive." Xu Sheng said.
That’s true, but it doesn’t matter. It’s really hard to buy a sleeper berth.
"Come, sister, come and sit down, don't stand." Xu Sheng looked very familiar.
Xu Sheng gave up his seat and sat next to Pei Yan and Xu Zhiyi.
I don’t know if the old scholar was in poor health or had an old illness, but he didn’t look very good when he came up.
"Comrade, please let the old man come over and sit down. His face looks really scary." Jiang Qiuju said.
"Thank you, big sister. Grandpa, please sit down quickly. I'll get some hot water." Wang Chengsi said worriedly.
"It's okay, I just need to rest for a while, it's just an old problem."
Jiang Qiuju was a kindhearted elder sister. She immediately said, "Young man, go quickly. I'll help you look after the old man."
"Okay, thank you, sister. I'll be right back!" Wang Chengsi took out a water bottle from his bag and ran away quickly.
After he got the water, he walked back without stopping.
Xu Zhiyi glanced at Wang Ziming's face casually and felt that there was something wrong with his breathing and that he had many physical illnesses.
"Young man, come quickly! Is your grandfather having a seizure?"
"grandfather?!"
"Cheng Si, give me the medicine...the medicine." Wang Ziming spoke with some difficulty.
His old illness came back.
His hands began to tremble and his speech became incoherent.
Wang Chengsi's face changed. He put the kettle on the small table and immediately took out the medicine bottle from his bag.
After pouring a pill, I fed it to my grandfather with hot water from the kettle.
After Wang Ziming took the medicine, he recovered after about ten minutes.
Jiang Qiuju said, "Is the old man okay now? You scared me."
Wang Ziming recovered and spoke politely. "I'm sorry, comrade, this is an old problem of mine. It keeps coming back. I need to take medicine right away."
"It's okay, it's okay. Your health is the most important thing."
Wang Chengsi breathed a sigh of relief, but then became worried again.
Grandpa's illness has been recurring more and more frequently. This time I'm taking him home specifically for treatment. We'll be on the train for four days, so I hope he doesn't relapse during this time.
Wang Chengsi felt like he was hanging in the air, and could only relax a little when he got there.
Wang Chengsi came in a hurry this time, and even with help from others, he could only buy the middle and upper bunks.
Only now did he have time to look at who was occupying the beds over there.
Just now he saw the young man giving up his seat to the older lady. He wondered whose seat the lower bunk belonged to?
Others bought the lower bunk for convenience and comfort, and he didn't know them, so it was really rude of him to ask for it without permission.
