Then she found a rocky beach.
The reefs here are large enough that they won't flood the area even during high tide.
Moreover, the water is quite deep, and there are abundant fish underwater, making it a good fishing spot.
She arrived late; there were already two old men fishing there.
Xiang Wanwan went up to check on the two people's fish baskets, and they were still empty.
She walked straight to another rock as her fishing spot.
She took out her fishing rod, then untied the fishing line and put the hook in the water.
As soon as it was placed down, a chorus of mockery came from the side.
"Old Li, look!"
"You think you can catch fish with this kind of fishing rod and line?"
"Haha, I'm afraid you won't catch anything even if you fish all afternoon."
Immediately afterward, the old man next to him chimed in:
"Young people don't know anything about fishing. They're just here to try it out. They'll probably leave in a little while."
Xiang Wanwan heard what the two people next to her were saying and looked disdainful.
Although she doesn't go fishing often, she has a knack for it!
The Green Elf chose this rock for her; there must be something good down there.
She had only been fishing for a short while when she felt something tugging at the fishing rod in her hand.
She calmly glanced at the two people beside her, then immediately reeled in her line.
It's a grouper, not very big, probably only about a pound.
The two old men next to her curled their lips when they saw that she had pulled up a small grouper.
"It's just a grouper."
"Exactly, we wouldn't even bother with this kind of fish."
Xiang Wanwan listened as the two continued to argue stubbornly.
They arrived before her and didn't even have a single fish, yet they still have the nerve to mock her.
She immediately retorted sarcastically.
"What a pity, I've been fishing for five minutes and I've only caught one grouper."
"I really am incompetent."
Xiang Wanwan re-baited the fish and cast the hook into the water.
The two people next to her snorted coldly when they heard Xiang Wanwan's words.
It's just a grouper, isn't it?
What's there to be proud of!
They're looking to catch a big fish!
She had just cast her fishing line when the fishing rod in her hand stirred again.
This time, the drag from the fishing rod was stronger than last time, and the fish struggled quite a bit.
Xiang Wanwan cast the line a few times and caught a yellowtail catfish weighing over a pound.
She deftly put it into the bucket and continued casting.
I don't know if it's because the yellow-legged moray crabs all clustered together, but the next few times I caught them, they were all yellow-legged moray crabs.
Moreover, they are all about the same size, weighing about one pound each.
In less than ten minutes, Xiang Wanwan caught four or five yellowtail catfish.
The first two times, the two people next to her could say she was lucky, but after she caught fish several times in a row, they stopped talking.
He just stared at Xiang Wanwan with red eyes.
Then she kept looking into her bucket.
"Little girl, what kind of bait are you using?"
"How can you catch so many fish?"
Xiang Wanwan said calmly, "Just ordinary shrimp."
Upon hearing this, the two were even more puzzled.
Is it because of their bad location?
The two of them got up and moved to a rock that was closer to Xiang Wanwan.
Xiang Wanwan noticed their subtle thoughts but ignored them and continued fishing.
A few minutes later, Xiang Wanwan felt a huge pulling sensation, and the fishing rod in her hand bent into a crescent shape.
The fish on the hook was struggling violently, and Xiang Wanwan desperately pulled on the fishing rod to prevent herself from being taken away.
That force must be from a fish weighing over ten kilograms.
The two people who had switched seats looked at Xiang Wanwan with envy at the commotion she was making. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
