This guy was sticking out a few legs, trying to seduce Xiang Wanwan.
Because the rock was too big, she couldn't move it at all and had to use a frame to hold it.
But the creature was hidden under a crevice in the rocks, and she couldn't pull it out at all.
She found a thin, long branch and stuck it into the crevice. After a while, the blue crab could no longer bear it and crawled out of the crevice.
Xiang Wanwan immediately followed and swiftly grabbed it.
Then throw it into the bucket.
Two blue crabs, acquired!
She then wandered around the rocky beach for a while longer, but found no more large cargo, so she prepared to head back.
Just as they were about to leave the rocky beach, Xiang Wanwan looked down and saw a nest of whelks hidden under a small rock.
Xiang Wanwan was so excited she wanted to jump for joy.
Is this the joy of beachcombing?
The feeling of reaping the rewards is so wonderful!
Sea snails are great! The meat is delicate and the taste is delicious. The key thing is that they're not cheap these days.
In her excitement, she wiped out the entire family of the whelk.
A full twelve!
Xiang Wanwan looked at her small bucket, which was already full.
Looks like I'll need to bring a bigger bucket next time.
She continued walking back, picking up another pound or so of clams along the way, which completely filled her small bucket.
But the green elf inside the sleeve was still restless.
There are too many to pick up!
There's simply not enough to pick them all up!
She hardened her heart and put the green elf back into her spatial dimension.
Little darling, that's all for today. Let's come back to collect more tomorrow!
Xiang Wanwan walked over to Wang Sao's side. Her bucket also contained quite a few things: clams, razor clams, and several octopuses of varying sizes.
At this moment, many people around her looked over.
She's known for her good luck on this beach, and everyone's curious to see what she's found this day.
"Wow, these two crabs are so plump!"
"A conch shell! Comrade Xiang actually found a conch shell."
"There are quite a few people in their sixties here, we're really lucky."
Everyone's eyes reddened.
Aunt Sun also came to the beach in the afternoon. When she saw everyone gathered around her, she followed them over to watch.
She saw the whelks in the bucket and couldn't resist their delicious taste.
"Wanwan, can you eat these whelks? I have some rice saved up at home, can I trade with you?"
Xiang Wanwan was somewhat tempted.
She didn't have much rice left, and since Lu Jingnian ate a lot, it would be good to exchange some.
So she nodded, "Sure, Auntie. One pound of rice for one pound of whelks."
"Okay, okay! I'll bring it to you when I get back."
Xiang Wanwan sighed softly.
Unexpectedly, one day she too ended up living a life of bartering.
Seeing this, the people around them all crowded around, wanting to barter with Xiang Wanwan.
In the end, she traded whelks and clams for two kilograms of rice.
She planned to keep the remaining blue crabs and grouper for herself! (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
