Chapter 49 Don't Move, There's a Giant Snake (2/2)

"When the kids come back later, they should try it; they should love it."

"Sister-in-law, when I went there this morning, they hadn't finished picking them all; there were still many over there."

"Besides, there are two grapevines there. Let's move them back and plant them in the yard, so we won't have to go so far to eat grapes in the future."

Xiang Wanwan suggested.

"Okay, let's go after lunch."

When Xiang Wanwan left, Aunt Wang gave her two more cakes and told her to give them to Lu Jingnian to try as well.

afternoon.

Since they were going to dig up grapevines, both of them were well-prepared with tools.

When Sister Wang saw the two grapevines in front of her, she was completely stunned.

"These grapes are growing so well!"

"I never expected to find two such large grapevines so deep here, and that no one else has discovered them yet."

"Yes, it seems like no one comes here."

When Xiang Wanwan saw it in the morning, she had the same expression as Wang Sao.

Looking at it now, I'm much calmer.

"Sister-in-law, let's pick all the grapes first, then cut off the long branches, and we'll just dig up the main stems."

These branches have already been grafted with grapes; it will probably be several months before they can be grafted again.

Cut off all the branches so it will be easier for them to carry it back.

Although Xiang Wanwan had already picked quite a few bunches of grapes in the morning, there were still many left on the vines. She and Wang Sao both took out baskets and filled both baskets to the brim.

After picking the grapes, they started cutting the vines.

Xiang Wanwan also took the slightly thicker vines with her; these should be able to be kept for seedling cultivation.

Once the vines were mostly cleared away, the two began digging up the main stems.

The main stem was very thick, and it was quite strenuous for two people to dig it up. Fortunately, the soil here was relatively loose, and as time went by, they soon dug out a complete stem.

They dug up another one, engrossed in their work, completely unaware of the danger approaching.

Xiang Wanwan kept moving her things, but she kept hearing rustling sounds around her, as if something was approaching.

She straightened up warily and looked around.

This sight made her blood freeze.

Not far behind Wang's wife, a large snake was flicking its tongue in a tree, its head raised high, looking at them as if it were staring at its prey.

"Sister-in-law, don't move!"

Aunt Wang was baffled by her words. "Wanwan, let's hurry up, we need to go back and cook soon."

Xiang Wanwan lowered her voice and said, "Sister-in-law, there's a big snake in the tree behind you!"

Wang's wife was also stunned and slowly turned around to look.

"ah······"

Before she could even let out a scream, Xiang Wanwan immediately covered her mouth.

If they scream and provoke this thing, they're doomed!

No wonder no one comes here; there are big tigers here.

At this moment, Xiang Wanwan was filled with deep regret. She had to risk her life for a little food.

She carefully examined the patterns on the snake's back and concluded that it was likely non-venomous. However, Xiang Wanwan had never studied such creatures before and couldn't be sure.

It's best to evacuate safely without disturbing it.

"Sister-in-law, let's put down what we're holding and move back slowly, without making too much noise."

Xiang Wanwan is terrified of snakes. She would always change the channel whenever she saw one on TV, let alone now that it's right in front of her.

And he was staring at her, and she was so big!

She felt her whole body trembling slightly.

Looking at Wang's wife next to her, she was trembling like a leaf.

She took a deep breath, grasped Wang's hand, and whispered, "Sister-in-law, don't be nervous. We'll move slowly!" (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
