Xiang Wanwan was full of questions.
Lu Jingnian took all the luggage out of the car and then led them into the courtyard.
The first to react was Xiang Shuxue. She was excited at first, then ran forward and hugged her tightly.
"Sister, I miss you so much!"
Xiang Wanwan shoved the person away, her eyes filled with undisguised disgust.
"Don't hug me, it's disgusting."
She had just given a very gentle push, but Xiang Shuxue seemed to have been hit by a huge shock and staggered backward.
And the position she stepped back to was exactly where Lu Jingnian was standing.
She stumbled backwards and bumped into Lu Jingnian's arms, forcing him to reach out and steady her.
Xiang Wanwan looked up at Lu Jingnian, her expression serious, "Let her go!"
Without thinking twice, Lu Jingnian immediately withdrew his hand, and Xiang Shuxue, having lost her support, fell heavily to the ground.
"Ouch, brother-in-law, that hurts!"
Xiang Shuxue cried out in pain, but Lu Jingnian, seeing that Xiang Wanwan looked very unhappy, did not help her up.
"Wanwan, what are you doing?"
"Is this how you welcome your sister, and us?"
With a stern face, Xiang Xinrong began by scolding her.

"Wanwan, your dad has been promoted. He's now the principal of the military school on your island, and Shuxue has been hired as a teacher there. Our family will be reunited soon."
Li Jinglan spoke gently from the side.
Previously, Shuxue was forced to go to the countryside, and her home was robbed. She thought that the good life she had worked so hard for was going to be ruined.
