It's no wonder she was craving meat; the rabbit meat that Madam made a few days ago was just too delicious—spicy, numbing, and fragrant. Just thinking about it made her mouth water.
The woman selling the rabbits was rather old. "Auntie, how much are these rabbits?"
"Ten yuan." She glanced at Xiang Wanwan and said coldly.
It's not cheap.
Upon seeing this, the woman selling vegetables nearby immediately spoke up sarcastically, "Comrade Xiang, don't buy her rabbits. She's obsessed with money, ten yuan a pound."
The older woman rolled her eyes at her.
"I'm the only one selling rabbits here, and I can sell them for whatever price I want. If you can't afford them, there are plenty of other people who can."

The woman next to her was furious and pointed at her, saying, "You...you old woman, I can't be bothered to argue with you."

The people who came were Lu Yaqin and Ning Feng's mother, Huang Peilan.
Lu Yaqin held Huang Peilan's hand, and the two were as close as a biological mother and daughter.
She seemed to completely ignore her sister-in-law, Xiang Wanwan, and chatted and laughed with Huang Peilan beside her.

Lu Yaqin looked at the rabbit on the ground and asked the woman, "How much is this rabbit?"

“Pack it up for us!” Lu Yaqin said.
Aunt Wu couldn't stand it anymore.
