When Xiang Shuxue saw her, she quickly put down the hoe she was holding.
"Sis, you're here!"
"Yeah, I came to see you guys and picked up some things."
"Just come over there. Bring whatever you need. We have everything you need at home."
Xiang Wanwan ignored her, walked past her into the house, put her things in the kitchen, and then went inside to check on the children.
Compared to when he was born, Xiangyang has become much fairer, his face is fuller, and he looks more and more like Li Jinglan.
Xiang An, who was sleeping peacefully next to her, was also sleeping well. The child was already six months old, and sometimes she would babble when she saw him. He looked like his father and didn't resemble Xiang Shuxue at all.
Xiang Wanwan looked up at Xiang Shuxue, "Who is Xiang An's father? I've never asked you before."
Upon hearing this, Xiang Shuxue paused for a moment, then slowly spoke:
“He’s also a soldier. I used to be jealous that you married a high-ranking officer, so after you left, I found a soldier. Who knew that right after we slept together, he came here with Xiang Xinrong. Not long after we arrived on the island, he found out he was pregnant.”
"You know what happened next."
"What's your surname? Are you also from Nanshi?" Xiang Wanwan asked.
"I don't know. I met her at a social party. Everyone drank that night, so..."
Xiang Wanwan was somewhat surprised.
Are people this open-minded these days?
Do you go straight to bed after drinking?
However, this wouldn't be surprising for Xiang Shuxue in the past.
"Do you want to go find him?"
"Find a man? Forget it. I got a son for free, and I have money now. Why would I be so foolish as to find a man to serve me?"
Xiang Wanwan couldn't help but give her a thumbs up.
What an advanced idea!
It seems that Xiang Shuxue has suffered too much in her marriage and has now turned back from her misfortune.
“I’m glad you think that way. Sister Wang is the same; she’s doing just fine without a man.”
"When the child is a little older, you can find something to do."
"I'm planning to open a pig farm, and you'll get a share!"
Xiang Shuxue nodded vigorously.
"That's great, thank you, sis!"
"Does raising pigs mean we can have meat to eat every day?"
“Yes,” Xiang Wanwan replied.
After leaving Xiang Shuxue's house, Xiang Wanwan went to Wang Sao's house and took some corn seeds.
After taking the seeds, I went home, picked up a hoe, and headed out.
She cleared a small plot of land next to Wang's house to grow corn.
Xiang Wanwan dug long ditches in the land, planted corn in higher places, and left a drainage area in the middle so that if it rained, the water would drain out along the ditches, thus diluting and washing away some of the salt in the soil.
After planting it, she took advantage of the fact that no one was around and poured some spiritual spring water on it.
The spiritual spring water in the space is inexhaustible; it doubled the yield of sweet potatoes she had planted before, so she believed that the water should have the effect of improving the soil quality.
After finishing her work in the fields, Xiang Wanwan felt completely exhausted.
After all, I had just finished my postpartum confinement period, and moving around like this still made me feel very tired.
She looked around and, finding no one nearby, immediately slipped into the spatial dimension.
Xiang Wanwan hadn't entered the space for a long time. The space was still the same as before, with the spiritual spring still bubbling and flowing forward along the stream.
The fairy tree across the stream remains unchanged.
Since unlocking three Pokémon, no new ones have appeared, and Xiang Wanwan doesn't know how to unlock any more.
"Let nature take its course!"
She took a couple of sips of the spiritual spring water and instantly felt a warm current flow through her body, and the fatigue from before disappeared.
