Chapter 59 Something Happened (2/2)

All that's left is to wait for it to sprout.

At the edge of the vegetable garden, the row of chives she planted before is now growing lush and green.

She took a knife and cut off some pork. Luckily, there was some leftover pork at home, so she decided to make pork and chive dumplings for dinner.

We'll invite Sister Wang and her two children over then, so everyone can have a good time together.

Thinking this, she looked towards Wang's house.

"Not home?"

Looking over the courtyard wall, Wang Sao's door was closed; she must have gone out.

Xiang Wanwan turned and went into the house, intending to take a nap. She was on her period and was more prone to fatigue. She already felt very tired after doing the little bit of work.

An hour later.

Xiang Wanwan was awakened by the noise outside; it was the crying of Baoguo and Weiguo from Wang Sao's house.

She immediately got up and walked into the yard.

As soon as I stepped out of the house, I saw a lot of people standing in Wang's yard.

Her heart tightened.

Could something have happened to the two children?

She immediately left the yard and went to the neighbor's house.

Xiang Wanwan pushed through the crowd and saw two children standing behind Wang Sao, crying their hearts out. Wang Sao protected the two children like a protective eagle.

In front of her stood a woman dressed in gray clothes, and next to the woman was a little boy who looked about the same age as Baoguo and Weiguo.

The woman pulled the child in front of her, pointed at the twins behind Wang's wife, and shouted angrily:

"It's those two. Look what they did to my son. He has such a long, bloody gash on his face, he's disfigured."

"Pay me money! Or at least compensate me for the items!"

Wang's wife looked embarrassed and kept bowing and apologizing.

"I'm so sorry, my child is naughty. Don't worry, I will definitely pay for the child's medical expenses."

"Hmph, you'll definitely have to pay the medical bills! And what about compensation for the child's emotional distress?"

"Your two kids bullied my Daqiang, how much psychological harm has that caused my child!"

The woman was aggressive and spoke in an extremely unpleasant tone.

Aunt Wang grabbed the two children and scolded them with a stern face, "Apologize to Daqiang! I send you to school to study, not to fight."

The two children were crying uncontrollably.

It seems that Aunt Wang had already beaten the children on the way home, and now she was scolding them with a stern face, which made the two children cry even harder out of fear.

While crying, Baoguo said, "We did nothing wrong! Mother, it was Daqiang who hit my brother first. He also called us fatherless children and said that our father was dead."

Everyone present was stunned by these words.

Xiang Wanwan immediately stepped forward to comfort the two children.

Wang Sao had taught Baoguo and Weiguo very well, and she didn't believe that they would bully others on their own initiative.

Therefore, she believed what Bao Guo said.

She glanced at Wang Sao, and seeing her surprised expression, she knew that Wang Sao had also just heard the child say this.

After comforting the child, Xiang Wanwan looked at Daqiang next to the woman in front of her.

“Little friend, since you attacked Wei Guo first, then you fought back, so you're even.”

"If you want them to apologize to you, you should apologize first."

Xiang Wanwan knew that Chen De had gone on a mission, but others might not know, which is why she told the children this.

Even if the speaker meant no harm, saying it to a child can be very hurtful.

Daqiang shrank back behind the woman, his eyes darting around.

Those around them finally understood what was going on.

It was just a children's squabble, but the Hu family made such a big fuss about it.

Moreover, it was their own child who started the fight, yet they still have the nerve to accuse the other party first.

Like father, like son! (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
