Chapter 96 Li Jinglan Shows Goodwill (2/2)

After all, space is such a bizarre thing.

Suddenly, she thought of something and looked at Lu Jingnian beside her.

"Lu Jingnian, we haven't named the baby yet."

Lu Jingnian smiled and said, "I've already thought it through. What do you think?"

"The older brother's name is Lu Chen, and the younger sister's name is Lu Yao."

Xiang Wanwan didn't think it mattered at all.

Since Lu Jingnian has already made up his mind, let's go with this one!

"Okay, this one will do!"

As long as it's not about building an army or a nation, it's fine.

The two chatted casually as they took a walk in the hospital.

The nurses who had met Xiang Wanwan before huddled together, whispering amongst themselves. One of them, a nurse with short hair, put her hands in her pockets and said:

"This woman is so lucky! She actually gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl."

"Her position as Mrs. Lu is now even more secure."

The nurse next to her laughed and bumped into her.

"Come on! You didn't see how Chief Lu treated his wife. Even if she hadn't given birth to twins, you still wouldn't have had a chance."

"Stop daydreaming."

As soon as he finished speaking, several nurses next to him started laughing.

The short-haired nurse stomped her feet, looking defiant.

Xiang Wanwan was discharged from the hospital after three days.

She felt energetic and lively, so there was no need to waste medical resources, and it would also save Aunt Wu from running around every day.

As soon as she arrived home, Aunt Wang came over with two chickens. She handed the chickens to Aunt Wu as soon as she entered the door and went into the master bedroom.

"Wanwan, how are you? Does it hurt?"

Xiang Wanwan: "I'm fine, sister-in-law. I can even walk around a couple of times."

She immediately threw off the covers and got out of bed.

Aunt Wang pulled her around, looking her up and down, somewhat shocked.

"If I hadn't seen you pregnant with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed that you had just given birth."

"You look amazing!"

“It’s completely different from what I was like back then. But now your brother-in-law is finding you a doctor, and Aunt Wu is going out of her way to cook delicious food for you. I didn’t get any of those kinds of treatment back then.”

Xiang Wanwan also feels that she is very happy now.

She had never experienced such care and love from so many people in her previous life.

To allow her to rest better, Wu's mother took care of both babies by herself while sleeping. She would only bring the babies over to breastfeed when they were hungry at night, and then bring them back after feeding them.

Xiang Wanwan is truly grateful to Aunt Wu. Although Lu Jingnian is also very good to her, she simply can't live without Aunt Wu now.

She suddenly remembered a joke she had seen online before: "You can steal my husband, but you can't steal my nanny!"

That's exactly what she's like right now!

The next day.

Lu Jingnian had already gone to work, leaving only her and Aunt Wu at home.

She had just gotten up and eaten breakfast when Aunt Wu announced that Li Jinglan had arrived.

"Madam, should we let her stay at home?"

Xiang Wanwan recalled the last time she came with Xiang Xinrong to ask for something; Li Jinglan looked extremely haggard then.

"Let her in."

Li Jinglan, supporting her lower back and heavily pregnant, slowly walked in.

Her legs were terribly swollen, and she was wearing what appeared to be Xiang Xinrong's shoes. Her face was covered in age spots, and her complexion was sallow.

Xiang Wanwan was somewhat surprised.

In just a few months, Li Jinglan seemed like a completely different person.

Xiang Wanwan remained seated. Seeing how pitiful she looked, Aunt Wu brought her a stool to sit on.

As soon as she sat down, Li Jinglan took a small box out of her pocket, opened it, and placed it on the table.

Looking over, Xiang Wanwan saw two small gold locks.

Is this a gesture of goodwill?

Li Jinglan was a little flustered: "Wanwan, congratulations on giving birth to twins, a boy and a girl."

"I don't have anything good, so these two gold locks are just for the child to have good fortune!"

She paused after speaking, then quickly added, "Don't worry, it's real gold." (This chapter has been completed. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
