"Get on, I'll carry you back."
Xiang Wanwan didn't hold back and pounced on him.
Lu Jingnian carried the person on his back, then put one arm around Xiang Wanwan, picked up the hoe and basket with the other, and walked home.
As they passed by the family compound, the neighbors saw this and joked, "Commander Lu really dotes on his wife; he even carried her back on his back!"
"But the two of them are truly a perfect match; you won't find another couple as good-looking as them on the entire island!"
"That's right."

As Xiang Wanwan listened to everyone's discussion, she buried her head in Lu Jingnian's back, her ears turning slightly red.
In contrast, Lu Jingnian remained completely unmoved, holding Xiang Wanwan tightly in his arms as if afraid she would fall.
Lu Jingnian carried her into the courtyard and placed her on a chair in the pavilion. He said in a deep voice, "Rest for a while, I'll go cook."
"good."
Xiang Wanwan nodded with a smile.
Suddenly, as Lu Jingnian turned his head, she grabbed his hand forcefully and pulled him down.
Lu Jingnian turned around and pounced on the chair, his hands bracing on either side of the chair. He looked at his playful wife with a doting smile on his lips.
"What's wrong?"
"Here's a reward for you." Xiang Wanwan wrapped her arms around his neck, gently kissed his lips, and then let go.
"Go on, I'm hungry!"
Lu Jingnian paused for a moment, then smiled and said, "I'm hungry too."
Immediately afterwards, Lu Jingnian put one arm around Xiang Wanwan's neck and deepened the kiss.
Xiang Wanwan felt Lu Jingnian forcefully entering her mouth, filled with intense desire.
She reached out and pushed Lu Jingnian in front of her, but his chest was like an iron plate, and she couldn't move him at all.
This is in the yard; it wouldn't be good if someone saw us!
A moment later, Xiang Wanwan felt like she couldn't breathe, and Lu Jingnian suddenly released her.
"Hmph! Lu Jingnian, are you trying to kill me?"
Xiang Wanwan was breathing heavily, her cheeks slightly flushed, looking extremely alluring.
Lu Jingnian suppressed the urge to immediately tear her apart and devour her, and patted her head, "Silly girl, you still can't breathe after all this time."
He leaned down and whispered in Wanwan's ear, "I'll make you pay it back tonight."
Then he turned around and went inside.
Xiang Wanwan sat up, belatedly realizing what was happening.
Was she just teased by Lu Jingnian?
She looked towards the kitchen, and from her angle, she could see through the kitchen window that Lu Jingnian was wearing an apron and cooking.
Suddenly, the anger I felt vanished completely.
Who would have thought that a dignified military commander would cook and clean for his wife every day at home?
Although Lu Jingnian is a bit of a repressed romantic, it's undeniable that he treats his wife quite well.
Moreover, Lu Jingnian was very energetic in bed!
She is now incredibly grateful that she came here, otherwise such a perfect man would have been taken by someone else.
Xiang Wanwan lay back down in the chair and closed her eyes to rest.
I had only rested for five minutes when a piercing sound rang out.
It was Xiang Shuxue who brought Li Jinglan and Xiang Xinrong.
The three men stormed into the courtyard.
"You unfilial daughter, look at the kind of family you found for Shuxue! You actually rented a house!"
"When has the Xiang family ever suffered such a loss?"
"They even want us to give them money to buy a house for their son to live in, it's utterly outrageous!"
As soon as Xiang Xinrong entered, he began to berate Xiang Wanwan, who was sitting in a chair.
