The secret room is located on the underground floor of the west side hall of Kunning Palace.
The passage leading to the secret room was dark and damp. The oil lamps on the wall emitted a weak and dim light, making the shadows in the passage even darker.
The air was filled with a stale and decayed smell, mixed with a hint of oppressive dullness.
Su Jingyao walked through the passage and headed towards the secret room.
The door of the secret room was closed tightly, and it looked heavy and cold.
Xilu walked up quickly, skillfully took out the key from his waist, and opened the old lock.
The door slowly opened, and a pungent smell hit me in the face.

The corners of her mouth rose slightly with a hint of sarcasm.

Su Jingyao took a small step forward, her eyes fixed on Ling Yue.
"Why, you didn't save your own father for your own selfish desires. Do you still think that I am kind and will let go of the father of my enemy who almost killed me?"
Her voice rose a few notches, her tone becoming sharper.

Su Jingyao's eyes were cold and without any mercy.
