Su Jingyao changed into a silky, tight-fitting tube-top long dress that perfectly outlined her graceful figure.
The skirt was as smooth as flowing water, and was covered with a thin light red gauze dress.
The light gauze dress fluttered as she walked, making her look even more lazy, charming and alluring.
She walked gracefully to the bedside and gently lifted the curtain with her delicate hands, her movements extremely elegant.
"Your Majesty, are you not getting up yet?"
Jun Zechen sat up upon hearing the voice, with a somewhat lazy look on his face.
He reached out and pulled Su Jingyao into his arms to sit.
"Today, I have asked your father and several ministers to deal with the traitors and rebels, and not to attend the morning court."
"Then your majesty should get up and have breakfast."
Su Jingyao leaned on his shoulder, raised her head slightly and spoke, her voice as gentle as water, with a hint of coquettishness.
Jun Zechen, however, hugged the woman in his arms even tighter.
"I miss Yaoyao very much. When I first saw Yaoyao's letter in Lizhou, I wanted to quickly defeat Canglang and come back to see Yaoyao."
His voice was low and affectionate, and his eyes were full of attachment.
"Yaoyao, do you miss me?"
Jun Zechen asked seemingly casually, but the slightly trembling ending of his tone revealed an imperceptible caution.
"In no mood."
There was a hint of smile in Su Jingyao's eyes.
When Jun Zechen heard this, he turned his head in astonishment and looked at her in shock.
"Your Majesty, do you know that after you attacked Yuzhou and there was no news for a month, the ministers in the court began to get restless and I was worried every day."
Su Jingyao's voice was filled with a hint of grievance and complaint.
Then Su Jingyao pushed him away with force and got off him, with a hint of annoyance in her movements.
Su Jingyao walked to the couch and flicked her long sleeves, which drew a graceful arc in the air.
Sitting on the couch, he bent and crossed his legs on the couch, half lying on the soft pillow, with a questioning look in his eyes.
"Your Majesty, won't you give me an explanation?"
Jun Zechen quickly got out of bed.
He casually grabbed a black silk robe from the hanger beside him, put it on, and tied the belt casually.
He walked over hurriedly.
"Thanks to the topographical map Yaoyao sent me when we were in Lizhou, I was able to capture Qingzhou in less than half a year."
"Later, when I was preparing to attack Yuzhou, I discovered the trap set by Canglang in Yuzhou and took advantage of it."
"Because I have already sent the General of the Zhen Army, who has already recaptured Yuehui, to come to our aid. By then, my army will be inside Yuzhou, and the General of the Zhen Army will be outside Yuzhou. Together, we can attack the Canglang army, and they will have nowhere to escape."
He also sat on the couch, held the person in his arms, and began to explain seriously.
Since meeting Jun Zechen at Taiji Palace yesterday, Su Jingyao could roughly guess Jun Zechen's plan.
But I still asked.
"Then why did the news of His Majesty's disappearance come?"
"Didn't Yaoyao feel it yesterday? There are always people coveting my kingdom. Naturally, I must catch them all in one fell swoop, so that everyone in the court respects and fears me and dares not have any evil thoughts."
Jun Zechen raised the corners of his mouth with a hint of coldness, and his eyes revealed majesty and dominance.
Su Jingyao lowered her eyes in thought.
Indeed, Jun Zechen really had a plan in mind. He went out and defeated Canglang in one go, and also got rid of the corrupt officials in the court.
"How did Your Majesty know that Prince Duan would rebel?"
"Before, I did not allow Concubine Shu to go to Prince Duan's fiefdom, and Prince Duan was very dissatisfied with me."
Jun Zechen's face darkened, and a hint of coldness flashed in his eyes.
"After that, I have been telling Prince Duan, intentionally or unintentionally, that I plan to attack Yuehui and Canglang at the same time. By then, the imperial city will have no soldiers left to defend."
"As expected, Prince Duan began secretly training his troops in his fiefdom, and I knew what he was planning."
There was a hint of disdain in Jun Zechen's eyes. When they were both princes, Prince Duan was no match for him.
You even want to defeat him after he ascends the throne?
Fortunately, the soldiers that Su Jingyao secretly asked her father to prepare were not deployed. If Prince Duan's soldiers were normal yesterday and not controlled by Jun Zechen, Su Jingyao would naturally have a backup plan.
In addition to the 50,000 soldiers from the Yulin Guard and the surrounding areas who were summoned through Jun Zechen's token, there were also 30,000 soldiers summoned by her father and some generals.
She couldn't possibly pin everything on Jun Zechen. What if Jun Zechen was really gone?
Fortunately, Jun Zechen came back in time, otherwise, if Daddy and the generals joined forces, who knows whether Jun Zechen would become suspicious.
But it should be okay, because after returning from the expedition, Jun Zechen has the military power firmly in his own hands.
The confidence and majesty of being in control of everything is impossible to ignore.
The troops his father had assembled were only for emergency purposes and could not pose any substantial threat to Jun Zechen.
"So, Your Majesty sent the Queen Mother to the Huguo Temple because you didn't want her to interfere in this matter?"
Su Jingyao raised her head slightly, with a questioning look in her eyes.
"Well, if the Queen Mother finds out about this, I'm afraid Prince Duan will be dealt with by her before he even appears in the palace."
Jun Zechen chuckled.
Jun Zechen's grandfather's family is a prominent family with branches in various cities and a huge influence.
If the Empress Dowager knew, it would be uncertain whether Prince Duan would be able to enter the imperial city.
No wonder Jun Zechen wanted to send the Queen Mother away.
"Your Majesty knows everything, yet you let me be frightened."
A trace of anger appeared on Su Jingyao's face, and she struggled hard to get out of his arms.
"How could I have known Yaoyao was so bold as to go directly to Taiji Palace? Besides, the fewer people who knew about my plan, the better, so I didn't tell them."
"But I will never let anything happen to Yaoyao."
Jun Zechen quickly reached out and held her in his arms again.
