"What, what is it?" Bai An looked behind his father curiously.
Lu Demin looked at Bai An's curious expression and mysteriously took out a hair flower from his arms.
Pink flower head.
"It looks good, doesn't it?" Lu Demin put the flower on Bai An's head, held her in his arms and walked to Wanqing, "I have good taste, don't I?"
Lu Jinan looked at the flower on Bai An's head with an expressionless face. He took the chair and turned around and walked into the house.
"You're a director, after all." Wanqing looked up and smiled gently, "But Bai An looks good in anything."
"Come on, Bai An, how about trying this dress?" Wanqing shook the finished product in her hand and casually pierced the needle in her hand into her hairband.
Lu Demin saw it and quickly walked over to take the needle off Wanqing's head. Wen said angrily, "This is so dangerous."
Wanqing smiled, put the clothes on Bai An, and observed him carefully.
"It looks good." Bai An said happily as he turned around in front of his mother in his new clothes.
...
...
But Wanqing looked at the extra sleeves and hesitated for a moment, "It's a bit big, but Bai An is still growing, so he can wear it."
"My daughter is just pretty." Lu Demin's face was full of pride.
Wanqing glanced at him and said, "Yours is in the room."
"Oh, there's mine too." Lu Demin walked into the house happily.
In the afternoon, when Lu Demin was working on cement, Bai An was watching curiously beside him. When Lu Demin saw her like this, he waved his hand.
"Stay away, or your new clothes will get dirty."
Bai An responded twice and ran to Lu Jinan's side, "Do you want to go out and play?"
Lu Jinan shook his head and said, "I have to help my dad with work, you go and play."
Bai An turned around and looked at Wanqing who was cleaning the house, clenched his hands, and felt that now was a good opportunity.
Bai An took advantage of their inattention and ran to the back of the house. When there was no one around, he went straight into the space.
Look at the things in your space. Don't take anything with packaging bags, and don't take anything that is too out of touch with this era.
Bai An picked and chose and picked out a box of things.
Some simple daily necessities, mirrors, candles, towels, toothbrushes, shoes, bowls, chopsticks and some miscellaneous items.
After the Bai security department had finished packing, they hid the box behind a big tree behind the house.
Bai An was strolling leisurely on the hillside. Lu Jinan, who came to look for her to go home, looked at her happy face and couldn't help but ask curiously, "Where did you go to play? You look so happy."
Bai An shook his head, "Nowhere."
Lu Jinan laughed, walked up and held Bai An's hand, "Let's go home then."
When Bai Anyi returned home and looked at the completely different environment, he was really shocked by his parents' efficiency.
The old, shabby house was no longer covered in mud, but now had a clean, tidy cement floor, and my mother had tidied the entire house.
It really feels like home now.
Wanqing smiled, took Lu Demin's hand and said, "I didn't have the time and energy to clean the house before. Now it's good. Seeing it tidy like this makes me happy."
Lu Jinan observed the changes in the room, his eyes twitched slightly, he looked down at Bai An, and felt that he was no longer alone. The empty heart that had been feeling empty before seemed to be filled.
Wanqing put new clothes on everyone and dressed herself up carefully. Ever since she followed the country's policy of sending educated youth to the countryside, Wanqing has never felt a sense of belonging here.
Now you can try to treat this place as a real home.
"Bai An."
"Yeah." Bai An looked at her mother in confusion, "What's wrong?"
Wanqing gently touched Bai An's temples and said, "Do you think you are a lucky star?"
Since Bai An came to their home, their lives have been getting better and better.
"Mom." Bai An went to Wanqing's arms, "I was born with better luck than others. I always picked up other things before."
"So, it's my luck that I'm here."
In the evening, Lu Demin picked up a box from behind his house. Wanqing looked at the things inside and whispered, "I'll go to worship with you tomorrow."
From today on, the villagers could clearly feel that Lu Deming's family who came from the city were no longer as lifeless as before. It was as if they had new life, and they had satisfied smiles on their faces every day.
Although they were gentle to people before, there was always a sense of distance between them. But now, their family is becoming more and more able to integrate into this place.
Lu Demin had just built a small courtyard, and Wanqing grew vegetables and raised chickens and ducks in it. He also built a few small houses, giving one to Lu Jinan and one to Bai An, and also built a toilet and a kitchen.
"Bai An, come out and play." The two children shouted at the gate of the newly built courtyard of Lu Demin's house, "Bai An, hurry up, or it will be too late."
"Here I come." Bai An hung the backpack with Xiao Cuihua sewn on it on his body.
As he got older, Lu Jinan's eyebrows became more and more delicate. Seeing Bai An's hurried look, he frowned. He reached out and grabbed Bai An's small backpack, dragged her back, and raised his eyebrows, "You haven't written today's words yet, where are you going to play again?"
Bai An pretended to be wronged and tugged at the corner of Lu Jinan's clothes, and said coquettishly: "Write when you come back."
Lu Jinan covered Bai An's face with his hands expressionlessly, "Write three more when you come back tonight."
Bai An was stunned when he heard this, and he raised his lips forcibly, "Why do you have to write three more?"
The three pictures that Lu Jinan mentioned are not as simple as just writing three pictures. Everyone knows that he has obsessive-compulsive disorder, and he must write until he is satisfied with the three pictures.
"Don't want to write?"
"Write." Bai An threw the corner of his clothes aside, "Write when you come back."
Seeing Bai An lowering her head and looking aggrieved, Lu Jinan smiled dotingly. After being together for so many years, he still didn't understand her. Now she looked so aggrieved on the surface, but he didn't know how she must be scolding him in her heart.
"Go and have fun. Weren't you in a hurry just now?" Lu Jin'an stuffed some food into Bai An's backpack. "Remember to come back before the sun sets. If you do the same thing as last time, Dad won't forgive you."
"I know."
When Cui Ju and Da Zhuang saw Bai An coming out of the house, they excitedly called her name and chirped like a group of little sparrows.
But when they saw the boy at the door looking at them with a cold face.
Suddenly there was no sound.
"Let's go quickly." Cui Ju held Bai An's hand and said to Da Zhuang.
Da Zhuang quickly nodded in agreement.
