Chapter 254 Hunter

Just as the wolves were about to break through the defense line again, with a few whooshes, the wolves that were about to rush in were shot dead on the snow. The pressure on everyone was instantly relieved.

Everyone looked in the direction where the arrow came from, and saw a pair of hunter brothers standing on the top of the mountain, holding bows and arrows, aiming at this side from afar.

With a sharp whistle, the arrow flew free, heading straight for the Wolf King. The arrow pierced through the air, finally striking the Wolf King in the head. The Wolf King let out a scream, his body teetering, and he lost the ability to command.

This sudden change threw the wolves into chaos. They lost the guidance of their leader and began to flee in all directions.

Lin Feng shouted: "Surround them, don't let them run away!" Wolves are the most vengeful. If we can't wipe out this pack of wolves this time, I'm afraid they will retaliate next time!

Everyone immediately seized the opportunity and fought back hard, and soon killed four or five more gray wolves.

With the help of hunters, they reorganized their defense line. After a while, they killed all the wolves that had not yet had a chance to escape.

After killing the wolves, Tiezhu sat down on the ground gasping for breath due to exhaustion.

After everything was over, Lin Feng did not relax his vigilance. Two hunters came down from the mountain and walked in front of the crowd.

Lin Feng clasped his fists in gratitude: "Thank you both brothers for your help. May I ask what your name is, sir?"

A hunter spoke up, "My last name is Zhou, and this is my younger brother Zhou Er. We went out hunting today and heard the howling of wolves from afar. When we got closer, we saw you fighting with them! What a coincidence!"

He then said to the people sitting on the ground, "Everyone's injuries are serious. If you can still hold on, you'd better leave this place quickly. The smell of blood here is very strong and may attract other beasts."

Everyone's hearts tightened upon hearing this. The previous battle had already consumed too much of their energy. If they encountered a ferocious beast again, they would be in great danger.

Lin Feng bowed and asked, "My brothers are all injured to varying degrees. I wonder if I could stay at your house?"

Zhou Da nodded. He had been watching the fight from the sidelines. This group of people were taking extra care of the two children, so they probably weren't evil people.

Lin Feng heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing this and told Zhou Xun to take care of the injuries of the others first. He then led the others to load the goods back onto the sled.

Tiezhu looked at the big blue mule lying dead on the ground and felt extremely sad!

Lin Feng patted Tie Zhu on the shoulder and consoled him, "We've killed quite a few wolves, and if we sell the pelts, we might be able to buy another one!"

After hearing what Lin Feng said, Tiezhu's depressed mood finally improved.

Lin Feng led his men to put the wolf corpses on the ground on the car bed and pull them all back later.

No one dared to delay too long. After packing up, they hurriedly set off for Zhou's house.

The Zhou family was not very close to this place. After walking for about an hour, they finally saw two courtyards in the distance.

Zhou Da pointed to the courtyard in front and said in a cheerful tone: "It's in front!"

Lin Feng led everyone to the front door of the Zhou family's house. It was Zhou's eldest son who opened the door. Seeing his father and uncle return safely, the child happily shouted to the inside of the house, "Mom, Dad and the others are back!"

After saying that, he ran into the room.

Hearing the noise, Father Zhou also hurried out. Seeing that his two sons had really returned safely, he finally felt relieved. He was really worried about his two sons when they went out hunting in such weather!
