The mother and daughter chatted about what happened in the city today. Lin couldn't help but sigh, "Life is unpredictable. I just hope our family can be safe and sound!"
It was not until dusk that Zhao Da pulled up his carriage in front of the Li family's gate. Zhao Da supported the limping Li Erlang back to the main hall and sat them down. Li Erlang said, "Go back and rest quickly. You'll have to accompany me tomorrow if I have to work hard!"

Li Yan nodded. "I was worried about the clan leader waiting anxiously, so I came back after you left! Li Erlang stroked his daughter's hair and praised her, "Our Yan'er is really smart!"

At this time, Lin came over clumsily with a large basin of hot water. Li Yan immediately stepped forward to take the basin from her mother's hand, and put it in front of Li Erlang.
Li Erlang took off his shoes and socks and put his swollen feet in warm water.
Li Erlang hummed a comfortable sigh as his numb feet were suddenly immersed in warm water. Mrs. Lin looked at her husband's ankles which had become red and swollen again, and said with concern, "Is the water too hot?" After saying that, she bent down to test the water temperature!
Li Erlang quickly grasped his wife's hand and said, "It's not hot, it's just right!"
Lin said worriedly, "Soak for a while first. I'll rub you with medicated oil later to relax your meridians and activate your joints!"
After a busy day, the two went back to their rooms to rest after dinner. Li Erlang sat on the bed and let his wife apply the medicated oil to him.
Lin deliberately used some force, causing Li Erlang to grimace in pain, but he did not dare to ask his wife to be gentler.
Unable to bear the pain of torturing Li Erlang, Lin's strength gradually softened: "Take care of your body. If anything happens to you, what will happen to us mother and daughter?"
