Chapter 76 Outer Room

Li Erlang arrived in the town and went to the academy where he had made an appointment with the boy.

I started copying the book as usual, but half a day passed and I hadn't finished copying a single page.

Li Erlang, who couldn't calm down and kept looking at the door, got up and walked towards the bookstore.

After standing by the bookstore for about a cup of tea, the boy from yesterday ran over to Li Erlang, panting heavily.

When the boy calmed down, Li Erlang asked, "Where did you go with him?"

The boy nodded and whispered, "I was waiting at the entrance of the academy at dawn until noon when I saw him come out. I followed him all the way to the alley. I saw a pregnant woman opening the door for him."

After hearing this, Li Erlang clenched his fists and said in a serious tone, "Did you see it clearly?"

The boy nodded carefully. "I followed the man all the way into the alley, and then I rushed over here!"

After hearing this, Li Erlang asked the boy to lead the way, as he wanted to see it with his own eyes to be sure.

Coincidentally, when Li Erlang arrived at the alley entrance, he saw Liu Zhong intimately supporting a woman and buying vegetables with an old man at the alley entrance. They were so intimate that they looked like a young couple.

Li Erlang now believed it completely. He clenched his fists and tried hard to suppress the urge to go up and beat the guy up. He ordered the boy: "You continue to help me keep an eye on his every move. If anything happens, come to the academy to find me!" After that, he gave the boy money for the meal.

The boy happily took the money and nodded in agreement.

Li Erlang stood there and calmed down for a long time. He planned to go home first and discuss it with Grandpa Li.

When Li Yan saw Li Erlang coming back with a gloomy face, her heart skipped a beat. It seemed that she was not wrong yesterday.

Seeing her husband's depressed look, Mrs. Lin went forward to comfort him.

As if realizing that his face was not looking good at the moment, he patted his wife's hand and comforted her: "I'm fine, are your parents home?"

Lin nodded: "Mother just went back."

Li Erlang nodded, went back to his room to put away his books, and walked to the next room.

Li Erlang came to the next room and saw old man Li sitting under the eaves smoking a pipe.

When Old Man Li saw his son walk in with a sullen face, he quickly stood up and asked, "Didn't you go to town today? What happened?"

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone else in the yard stopped what they were doing and looked over here.

Wu quickly wiped the water stains off her hands and came over to Old Man Li, muttering to herself, "Could it be that my son's forsythia hasn't been sold?"

Li Erlang looked at his parents beside him and said angrily, "It seems my brother-in-law has a concubine outside, and now the woman is pregnant!"

Mrs. Wu thought she had misheard and hurried forward to grab her son's hand to confirm, "Son? What did you say? Who has a concubine?"

Seeing her son's angry look, Mrs. Wu took a few steps back and suddenly fell to the ground!

Everyone was shocked and rushed forward to check on Wu's condition!

Wu grabbed Li Erlang's hand and asked tearfully, "Is it really that Liu Zhong? How could he do such a thing to your little sister?"

Seeing her son silent, Mrs. Wu burst into tears!

Li Erlang held his mother's hand and comforted her, "Mom, now is not the time to cry. You should think about what your little sister's future will be like!"

When Wu heard her son say this, she finally came to her senses. She grabbed her son's arm, stood up, and said to the old man, "The Liu family is too bullying. I want to take my daughter back!"
